Brandon Robinson19 said:So, I took a pregnancy test three days before my period was actually due, and there was this faint pink line. I did another one today—the day my period was supposed to start—and the line is definitely darker this time... I couldn't handle the suspense, so I went in for a blood test first thing this morning because the waiting is just killing me. My hCG levels came back over 12... honestly, I’m just terrified of being disappointed. (((((

See, that's exactly what happens—as soon as you start sketching, it gets darker. Congrats!😁
I was getting nothing but those faint, teasing lines for four days straight. I actually pulled a beta test on day one and just knew I was pregnant, but it wasn't until the fifth test that I finally saw two solid, dark lines.😉😁
If you’ve got an ovulation strip lying around, try peeing on that instead—it gave me two clear lines right away.
feralharbor89 said:Thanks for the input, but I haven't had a period in years. Plus, this feverish feeling tends to hang around for weeks at a time.
Here’s the latest: last night my temp dropped slightly below 97°, but today (I could definitely feel it) I was hovering around 98.6° to 99°. I know some people consider that totally normal, but I'm telling you, it doesn't feel normal for me because I can actually feel the heat.

Thyroid issues???
Subutex in Health ·
wanderingcobra2 said:You can't just talk about buprenorphine "Subutex" in such half-baked terms. It’s a heavy-duty analgesic that, honestly, should be avoided—just like using Suboxone as a painkiller. Since it’s packed with naloxone, which ER doctors use to kick drugs off receptors and pull someone out of an overdose, you're messing with serious chemistry. These meds hit three different types of opioid receptors in your brain, so playing around with them is basically playing with fire. If you want the straight truth? Only about 20% of addicts actually stay clean and get kicked out of treatment for good.

But even that isn't the full story. The real truth is much more brutal. This is clinical data for the general public, but honestly, you might be better off not knowing the actual percentage.

It’s enough to say that heroin addiction is a chronic, relapsing brain disease.
The brain gets permanently damaged, but that’s not even the worst part. For almost every addict out there, life is absolutely trashed, and clawing your way out of that hellhole is a mission that's practically impossible.

So, stay far away from heroin. It will wreck you. And I don't just mean your brain... it's this vicious, endless loop: heroin-methadone-heroin-Subutex... death.

What about the ones who actually manage to quit? Are they still mentally broken?? I'm not being sarcastic, I quit a long time ago but damn, I still feel like a junkie... I don't take any meds and I function normally in society (well, except for the occasional meltdown), but I am broken deep down inside. For my depression, all I have is work, just endless work...
feralharbor89 said:What's even considered a normal body temp these days?
Sometimes (especially once evening hits) my temperature hits around 97°, and honestly, I've even seen it dip below that.
On the other hand, I’ve been dealing with this thing where my temperature stays slightly elevated—like 99 degrees—for days or even weeks on end. It’s been happening to me for years now.
I feel like crap lately, but honestly, nobody’s been able to pin down what's actually causing it.
Anyone else dealt with something like this?

Look, it’s just basic biology—every woman sees that slight temperature bump during the second half of her cycle, somewhere between ovulation and her period, usually hovering around 98.6 to 99.3 degrees.🤷

My temperature is always hovering around 98.6, and I've got Hepatitis C, though I can't tell if there's actually a connection there. I never even felt sick; I just stumbled upon the virus during a routine checkup. My ultrasounds and all my liver panels come back totally normal... but the virus is still hanging around.
Jeffrey Sullivan10 said:It’s me again. My pregnancy test came back negative, so it looks like everything was just a fluke—even though the bleeding I had was way lighter than my usual period. Regardless, 🙂🙂🙂

Maybe try taking the condom off next time.😕
James Sanders22 said:Look, ladies, if there isn't a legitimate concern involved, then what is the point of even taking a test? Why does this thread even exist if those of you who recognize the symptoms won't step up and offer some insight? It shouldn't be this difficult. For some people, $10 is more than enough. I don't envy anyone going through this uncertainty, though I am certainly not indifferent myself. However, I have no intention of rushing to a CVS just because I feel slightly nauseous. Nausea can stem from countless different issues. I refuse to buy a pregnancy test every single time my stomach turns. Please, try to be helpful when we ask questions; remember how unsettling it felt for you when you were facing that same uncertainty.

Yeah, whatever, I bought three tests and went to get my blood work done😂 😂 😂 Honestly, all five, but there's no point guessing—either see an OBGYN or just take the test....
Chris Grant7 said:I’ve scrolled through enough similar threads to lose my mind, but I felt compelled to start my own because the sheer volume of existing posts is just overwhelming.
So, here’s the situation: my period is two weeks late. Given the symptoms I’m dealing with, I’m fairly certain I’m pregnant, but I have to ask—is it actually normal to deal with splitting headaches and a fever?
I haven't even taken a test yet, so there’s still that nagging doubt. Is it possible this isn't pregnancy at all, but just some random bug or illness? This is all brand new territory for me, so please, don't hold back on the advice—give it to me straight!
I did read that Clearblue tests are pretty reliable; has anyone here actually used one? 🤷🙏🙄🙂

You've got a few options here:
1. Go find a psychic in Greenwich Village to read your crystal ball.
2. Call one of those 1-800 psychic hotlines; they'll definitely tell you for sure if you're pregnant.
3. Ask a fortune teller on a street corner to read your palm.
4. Just mash your keyboard and let us guess if you're pregnant.
5. JUST BUY A DAMN TEST FROM $10!!!!!
Tyler Thomas12 said:Alexxx put it perfectly: "Go ahead, pee all over your keyboard, and we'll just read your pregnancy test results right off your screen." 🤣

I'm connecting. 😁

Struggling to sleep? Any tips? in Health ·
To me just looks like a total pushover...
Interferon usage and side effects? in Health ·
And honestly, I’m nowhere near starting therapy yet... There are massive waiting lists at the Red Cross just to get on interferon treatments. Since my liver enzyme levels are totally normal right now, I’m in no rush; I’d much rather wait a couple of years and see if they come up with something better... To be real, the thought of all those side effects actually scares me.
Interferon usage and side effects? in Health ·
Hey, my bad, I had no idea they used interferon to treat stuff other than the Red Cross cases. 🤷 Seriously, first time hearing that. Anyway, it’s totally normal to run a fever for the first few days. How long is your treatment supposed to last?
Anyone here cured of hepatitis C? in Health ·
Scott Allen10 said:So why aren't you posting anything about hepatitis C? You've only made one single post here, and that was just this quote above.
Write something up—your experience, treatments, side effects... I bet people will respond.🙂

I literally just found out I have it, so I don't really have any experiences to share yet. I'm still doing my own research, and once I actually have something worth saying, I'll post it. My dad passed away the day before yesterday, so honestly, I couldn't care less about hepatitis C or any of my own stupid problems right now. It's all my fault anyway.
Anyone here cured of hepatitis C? in Health ·
So this is what we’re doing now? Seriously? We’re out here talking about colonoscopies, shady business, and STIs, but there isn't a single word about hepatitis... I'm losing my mind over here. Is it just uneducated junkies who deal with that stuff? Who am I even supposed to turn to for advice now? Alex White36, where you at?
Man, you ladies are just so bitter, always looking for some way to tear down Sarićka Serićka Buhica again.😂😂
misiz S;13660379 said:Exactly.
Even my doctor told me only about 4 out of 6 were actually ovulations. So...

That doesn't have to be true unless you're over 40... I'm 32 and I know for a fact I've ovulated 11 times a year for the last three years straight! That’s without using Clomid, with Clomid, and even during those 12 months when I was on it... I know because I go in every single month for follicle tracking and blood work to check my progesterone levels, which proves the follicle actually popped and ovulation happened...

And that 7 out of 100 stat is talking about women WHO ACTUALLY OVULATE and are otherwise perfectly healthy!
Fifty/fifty my ass! My OB-GYN told me that if you take 100 women who are perfectly healthy—and their partners are too—and they have sex during ovulation, only about 7 of them actually end up pregnant. And obviously, we're talking about just that one single time... So yeah, the odds are way, way lower than fifty-fifty!!!
Antidepressants: General Discussion in Health ·
Lara honey, the box says Normabel can actually trigger depression, so that might just backfire on you. I tried that 5mg dose once and honestly, I felt like a total zombie... Just take it at night so you can actually get some sleep, and as for antidepressants, it’s probably better to skip them while you're stuck on bed rest. Leksaurin really pulled me through a rough patch once, but since I have a tendency toward addiction, I still struggle with the urge to go back on them today... You're tough, a real fighter, so you'll be fine if you take them for a few months, or just until you're pregnant again—which, fingers crossed, happens real soon...
There’s already a thread about colonoscopies floating around here, probably on the first or second page. You can find everything there, but honestly, you might want to skip reading it🙂. I just spent three days prepping and then almost passed out from hunger while waiting in line at the clinic... easily the worst experience of my entire life
