...lol, my mom does the same thing, but only when there's thunder outside 😂

..I’m terrified of heights and spiders... they are easily my most loathsome creatures. I know I can be a bit intense, but my heart starts racing like crazy whenever I spot one.🙂

..And I don't have the luck some girls do, so my boyfriend ends up killing the spiders for me... because honestly, he refuses to kill any living thing. It takes me forever to finally talk him into it—we'll argue for half an hour and by then the spider has already crawled off to the other side of the room.😁 He just grabs a paper towel and carries it all the way to the window. Then I start overthinking and worrying that he might drop it... god, it's awful. I hate them. I can manage using the vacuum, that's fine. But there was this one at the beach once that I couldn't handle because I was certain I would pass out.😁

..Even if I wanted to get over my fear of spiders, it wouldn't work. I just find them repulsive. Maybe they feel the same about me, though I doubt it. It's true what they say, though—they always show up when you're most afraid. I actually had a nightmare once while my boyfriend and I were exploring a coastal island.😁

Sure, you can clear it, but there’s always a chance it comes back... so women dealing with this need to be way more careful, especially when their immune system takes a hit.

..plus, there's a much higher risk of cervical cancer in women who carry HPV.

I've got it 😢 you get it when you have unprotected sex... even if your partners haven't slept with anyone else before... like in my case... it's awful

Look, I agree you should always seek expert advice, but I don't agree with saying you shouldn't go to a doctor just because you read someone's advice online...

Then why bother sharing makeup tips at all? We can all just go ask the experts over at Sephora... I mean, they basically have professional artists on staff there anyway.

..It’s stupid to look at it that way.. I think everyone could use some advice, especially if someone is really struggling with something and another person can offer comfort because they've been through it too. And obviously, you still need to go to the salon..

Austin Chavez76, why on earth does a girl asking for advice have to be treated like an idiot?? 😕
Nail extraction procedure in Health ·
..if it’s just slightly ingrown and isn't causing you massive pain yet, you should probably hit up a podiatrist to get it handled before things get ugly..

as for what you asked... I haven't a clue 😕 but my guess is the nail grows normally and then you clip it wrong, so it starts digging into the skin..

..regarding Megan Cox8--she's right, they use that tool to basically pull the nail out bit by bit.. it's gross.. but you barely see it or feel it happening..

..I don't think surgery can really fix it permanently.. like, you might deal with this forever.. but if it's ingrown, the nail has to come out because there's no other way. Better to have a doctor do it than some random technician..

...I was basically obsessed with those fruit pouches when I was a kid 🙂 and honestly, I still grab them whenever I want a quick snack 😁

There's no gluten or preservatives in them, so as far as I'm concerned, they're perfectly fine

I’ve had such a nightmare dealing with my toenails. I actually ended up needing surgery twice in just one year..
Every single time I went to Vineyard Hospital.. and everything went fine.. the doctors were really nice.. they chatted with me the whole time..

Before the first surgery, and honestly throughout the whole process.. I had to soak my feet in warm water with potassium permanganate dissolved in it.. that purple powder stuff..

I even went to a pedicurist once.. and I was literally screaming because of the pain. I started getting ingrown nails, and the nail itself had basically rotted into the flesh.. my toe was completely swollen

At the doctor's office, they pulled out the entire nail once.. and the second time they just took a small piece.. but after a few months, it grew back into the skin and caused more complications..

It still happens to me even today... though sometimes I manage to trim the nail myself so it doesn't dig in

You have to cut your nails straight.. and you really need to switch up your footwear.. like alternating between dress shoes and sneakers..

If it gets really inflamed and starts turning into raw flesh, your best bet is to see a surgeon. For me, there wasn't even any pain during the procedure because I had local anesthesia.. sure, it hurts a little afterward, but it's manageable. Honestly, I actually thought it was kind of funny getting those ridiculous green hospital slippers every time and having to walk around school in them😁

I drink Starbucks pretty often... I’ll just make a whole liter, stick it in the fridge, and it's perfect. The grapefruit flavor is definitely my favorite. Plus, I've been sipping on those Bravo juices (that multi-red blend is amazing). Obviously, drinking too much of that isn't exactly healthy—especially if you overdo it—but at least this stuff actually has vitamins, unlike Coca-Cola.
