OB/GYN Discussion Thread in Women's Health ·

Before her, I was seeing that one doctor who unfortunately moved away to Europe. She was absolutely hilarious; I don't think I've ever met a gynecologist who actually makes you laugh while they're performing an exam.

Haha. Yeah, I know. You mean Dr. Miller, right? I felt pretty bummed when I found out she retired, but Maja is truly top-tier.

Though, I have to say, this current doctor is a total riot.

"Alright, here is your uterus. It looks beautiful. Simply wonderful. Now let's check those ovaries. Just lovely. Honestly, I get so happy when everything is right where it should be..."
....“Great, and your cervix looks fine, too. You wouldn't believe the cases I see. Some seventeen-year-olds come in and nothing is quite where it needs to be. This is how it should look...”

...“Now, let me check your breasts. Just imagine for a second that I were a man. If you start getting flustered, we might just have to move straight to a Pap smear.”

She is honestly such a legend.

I’d suggest checking out the Vesna Harni clinic

I suppose I agree, and if I had to choose, I’d probably put my vote behind Maya Gudelj.

PMS madness: any tips for coping? in Health ·
Michael Cox40 said:I haven't really tried any of those miracle remedies ( 😁 ), but honestly, I’ve never dealt with PMS—nor do I ever expect to—and it truly irritates me when someone tries to excuse their behavior by saying, "Sorry, it was just my PMS," after they've, say, spilled coffee all over me.
I realize you probably don't care and that this isn't particularly helpful to the conversation, but I felt compelled to mention it, if only so we don't fall into the trap of assuming every woman experiences that "unbearable condition." 😁

Oh, and granitegull3, from what I gather about how these things work, it seems less about circulation and more about hormones.

I suppose I’ll just leave my signature here on this thread for now.
