Let's go through this step by step. Honestly, I think I might pass out.

If someone put lamb, fish, and some fruit or vegetables in front of you—but you could only pick one to eat—what would it be?

Imagine you find yourself out in the wilderness, far away from civilization, carrying nothing but, well, a knife and some matches 👎. To your right, there's the ocean filled with fish. Straight ahead is an orchard, and off to your left, there's a Cow or maybe a little lamb (Jesus, oh boy!). You can eat any of them or cook/grill them, but you have to harvest, catch, or kill it yourself. What's your choice?

I suppose people who have real "guts" and aren't afraid to kill a Milka or whatever they get their meat from can rightfully justify eating parts of mammals. (🙂 )
As for everyone else, like me, no. It just doesn't sit right with my character. When you're out in nature all alone, there isn't a butcher there to slice up the Milka into unrecognizable pieces for you. I just can't bring myself to carve up a Milka. Okay, I could, but not deeply. Okay, fine, I could even do it deeply, but I just can't kill it. 😳 ...who am I kidding, I've barely ever even seen a Cow in person. 😢

I think I could probably kill a fish without much trouble; I might shed a tear or two over those glassy eyes, but that's about it. 😢 I'll go with the fish. I love fish. And the fish are afraid of me.

You’re a hypocrite—it's really as simple as that.

He’d grill up some lamb, then treat himself to some fruit afterward 🙂 🙂
And he’d probably slaughter a Cow in a few days 🙂

Well, if you actually want to roast a lamb, you have to steal it first... which means you have to deal with the rancher's guard dog. One quick slice to the throat and boom—done. Then the rancher himself spots you, so you have to quietly take him out too. But wait! Then the other ranchers notice the first guy is missing, so you end up taking them out along with their dogs... finally, you slaughter that sweet little lamb and throw it on the grill. After all that, you head over to an apricot orchard, but there’s an old lady guarding the trees... you hit her with a stick, grab some apricots, and feast. Of course, the fruit hits you hard, and you end up sprinting for the bushes because your stomach is doing somersaults.

Picture this: Milka is grazing peacefully in a lush green meadow... you set your sights on Milka, but you don't reach for a polite greeting—you pull out a machete. Milka goes down, you strip the hide, flip the horns onto your head like a Viking, and disappear into the brush. Suddenly, you run right into Stan, who's carrying a relic from World War I. Your sheer speed and skill at hunting Milka leaves him stunned just before he falls like a bruised apricot. You take him out, but Stan had sons, so you have to sweep them away too. Then the whole town rises up against you, but like a true outlaw leader, you scatter them across the countryside. The entire region collapses, much like how things fall apart in Canada, and a full-scale war breaks out.

And after all that chaos, you’re still feeling a little hungry.

All wars start the exact same way, but they end in all sorts of different ways as fate plays its games with us.

He’d probably try to take out a Cow while it's sleeping!

Haha, oh boy.🙂

I suppose I don't really know. Though, if I were forced into it, I probably would.

Well, obviously you can't do it when you're calling it Milka! 🙄 😬 That isn't a Milka! That's a Cow swinging its tail at you! And that thing in the ocean isn't just some fish, it's little Nemo himself. You monster!!! 😛

By the way, is there any way to go about milking a Cow? It would provide a steady food supply for quite a while, and who knows, maybe I could even whip up some Frutiss if I had enough milk.😁

Am I'm a hypocrite?! Me?! 😲 👎 👎 👎 If being "hypocritical" means I don't stare at faces all day, then fine. You've clearly been watching way too much soap opera. Is it the Ruby character? That prisoner? Or maybe the Queen of Swords? Something about Maiam? 😢

@ Kimberly Gomez28: Nemo and I never saw eye to eye either. 😢 Besides, the loudest person usually wins the argument. 😳

I don't even drink milk. 😢 It just doesn't feel right to me. It's an animal secretion. That stuff is for a Calf, not for people. Not only does an adult human not actually need milk, but it comes from a completely different species. I can't bring myself to drink it. I do drink quite a bit of soy milk for the protein, though it's honestly such a hassle because you practically have to hunt to find a brand that isn't GMO. Still, I'd take that over Cow milk any day. 👎

@ hiddencyclist2: I see you're quite the fan of the zoo. 😢

What does any of this have to do with health? Mental health, perhaps?

On topic: I'd eat anything in sight right now.

So, what you're basically saying is that the Cow is stronger than you!

Hmm... well, I suppose so. 😢 But personally, I think I'm tougher than a fish (not necessarily every single one, but I'd certainly hold my own! Ha!).

To get back on track: I would probably eat anything put in front of me.

Well, maybe you would, but others might not.
I was just curious to see how many potential Kravoubojics we have in this group. 😢 One more to add.

Throw another Cow killer into the mix. Personally, I’ve always preferred veal or lamb... younger meat just has a better texture. It's much more tender.

Especially if it was handled the right way—you know, when there's still a bit of adrenaline running through the system at the moment of slaughter... once that settles after a long day under a fine Texas BBQ pit...🙂

I don't even touch milk. 😢 It just feels wrong... totally unnatural. It’s basically an animal secretion. That stuff is meant for a Calf, not for us. Not only does an adult human have zero biological need for dairy, but we aren't even the same species as the source... I can't wrap my head around why anyone would drink it. I get plenty of protein from soy milk, even if it's a total nightmare to find a brand that isn't loaded with GMOs... you practically have to hunt for it. But hey, I'd take that over Cow milk any day. 👎
[/B]

It's a good thing soy and all those other plants produce seeds and fruit specifically for human consumption rather than, say, their own reproduction or whatever...😉

reproduction

Well, there's your solution right there.

Go ahead and label me a Cow killer
if you want,
but I'd probably focus on breeding the Cow first
before I ever thought about cutting its throat.👍

I don't do quadrupeds, so I guess that leaves fish on the menu...
