You know, if you think about it, that particular space just isn't really designed for that kind of high-level playing and musicality, so it makes sense; I mean, if the performance had been at an outdoor summer stage—not to mention how everything sounds absolutely flawless at a venue like Madison Square Garden—it would have sounded ten times better, especially during "Initiation" and those other tracks. But honestly, all things considered, it was just another successful concert! 👍
So, I just got back from the concert, and honestly, there's really only one way to put it... the guy is absolutely unreal! Just incredible!🙂 🙏 This marks my third time seeing him live, and man, I really hope it won't be my last, because he blows me away every single time! When he played "Initiation" and "Mombas," the crowd went absolutely wild. My only little gripe would have to be the sound system and the venue itself—it felt like they weren't quite big enough or tuned right to handle that kind of performance—but despite that, the vibe was amazing and the music was just top-tier!
Can anyone tell me how much a single ticket costs per screening, without getting into all those deals from $33 where you get 5 screenings for a bundle?
And you can actually grab her entire discography on e-mule, I think there's about 50 albums in total...
Wait, is she one of those singers who does that whole New Age or Celtic folk vibe?
I actually caught him performing twice back in San Diego... what an absolute legend and a master on the guitar! Just like goldenhound8 was saying, you have such a blast watching him; he just makes you smile and keeps you entertained, leaving you completely breathless without you even needing to jump around or grab a drink....
Thanks so much to everyone for all the advice and input, I’m really going to give this my best shot by staying totally locked in on the material and trying my hardest not to let anything else distract me while I'm studying
I’ve been noticing lately—maybe over the last three or four months now—that my ability to actually focus on studying has just completely tanked, and it feels incredibly tough to stay on track because my mind just starts drifting off into these totally random directions, you know? It gets to the point where I’ll sit down to work, hours will just slip right past me, and then I realize I’ve barely absorbed or even reviewed a single thing, which is pretty frustrating. Does anyone happen to know if there are specific exercises or maybe some other kind of techniques that could help fix this? Thanks so much in advance for any advice you can share!
I used to run it for a little while, and honestly, it’s not like it was a bad experience or anything, but it didn't quite blow me away either, so if you're looking for something else, I'd probably suggest going with McAfee Antivirus instead.
Jose Chase2 said:just open up your video with Adobe Premiere, go over to file>append avi segment to tack on the second movie, then just set both the video and audio tracks to direct stream copy and you're all set
Thanks so much, friend! I actually gave that a shot just now and it worked like a charm—everything turned out perfectly! 👍
And would you mind walking me through exactly which settings I should be messing with? To be honest, I’m still pretty much a total novice when it comes to using Adobe Premiere.
Does anyone happen to know a good way I could stitch two (somewhat larger) .avi files together into one single file, just so I can have the whole movie as one continuous piece?
If you're looking for some inspiration, I’d really suggest checking out the score for "Alexander" by Vangelis, or maybe diving into "Batman" by Danny Elfman, which is just classic, or even "Once Upon a Time in Mexico"—I can't quite recall the composer's name off the top of my head, but it's great! Also, "Woman on Top" (it's got this awesome Brazilian vibe, honestly brilliant), the incredible "The Lord of the Rings" by Howard Shore, and "The English Patient"... if I happen to think of anything else later on, I'll definitely post an update for you all.

Well, if we're sharing success stories, I'll jump in too! My old Celeron 566 also hits 850MHz without breaking a sweat on my Soyta motherboard, though I haven't pushed it much further than that. Nowadays, I've moved on to a Sempron 2500+ 64-bit clocked at 1.4 GHz, which I can steadily push to 1.9 GHz, and I even managed to touch 2.1 GHz once—though I got a little nervous keeping it that high since some of my games started acting a bit glitchy. My current board is an ASUS ROG Maximus.
