Thinking about trying drugs in Health ·
I'm not going to bother answering you. I'll just ask... have you actually tried it??
Airsoft in Other Sports ·
Not sure which thread this belongs in, but besides this forum, is there a number I can call? I saw some guys playing out on Maui once, going at it hard in their gear and tactical vests... any info would be appreciated.
Red Bull in Other Sports ·
And they call this a sport?? Where the hell is this all heading? Honestly, I'm done with it...

I just don't get these veggie characters and their whole "foot" thing... it’s just the damn food chain. If those unknown guys were three meters tall and weighed 300 kg with shark teeth, they'd eat us without a second thought. It's a shame, really. As long as I'm at the top of the chain, I'm fine, but out in the ocean? I'm terrified because I'm definitely not at the top. So, I rarely go in the water... 🤣 🤣
How do you find your purpose in life? in Psychology ·
"You make your own luck." Honestly, man, if life hasn't kicked you in the teeth yet, you haven't been paying attention. We’re all just replaceable parts in a machine. The competition is cutthroat in everything now—school, work, sports, even dating... pick your poison.
If someone actually manages to build something legendary, maybe that lasts.
But I figure, if you're already feeling this low, you need to find "your thing."
Something to hold onto when everything goes south. Something where you don't need anyone else. Something you can step back into whenever you need to, even if you aren't doing it every day.
Just anything you're good at. I'm 18, and I just went through two hellish months. I kept wondering where it was all headed... how much more could I take.
Is there even a point? Love failed me, things at home were a mess, even my friends were letting me down. It all piled up until one day, I just snapped.
I called my buddies to vent, talked it out with my parents, and then one day I was just walking through a grocery store, staring at the aisles, and I got this sudden, intense urge to learn how to cook. Don't ask me why. Maybe it's that idea that there's light in every dark situation. Since then, things have been okay. Life still sucks sometimes, obviously, but it feels easier to handle.
I was lucky enough to meet a mentor who taught me more than I ever would've learned from my folks in two lifetimes. Time keeps moving, though. Some people learn fast, some slow... but everyone catches on eventually.

At my place, everyone who ever touched meat signed up for college... except for this one veggie kid, haha
I’m completely over that theory 🤣 🤣
Why do atheists... in Philosophy ·
LNP20 said:Atheists, skeptics, and anyone generally opposed to any kind of organized knowledge... they all share one massive logical flaw that basically invalidates

self-contradiction. It goes like this:

The claim that one believes in nothing inherently relies on a belief... specifically, the belief
in UNBELIEF.

To put it simply, ATHEISTS believe that no religion is worthy
of their faith.

And SKEPTICS believe that nothing in this world is worthy of their trust.

That’s the core issue that discredits everyone calling themselves
skeptics or atheists. Total non-belief is hard... maybe impossible... to fully
avoid.

LOL, who says no religion is good? Maybe I just wasn't raised to believe, but I think most people today are religious because...
because for most, it's just a label used by society to group people into "this is how things must be." If I'm an atheist, what makes me different? Am I less valuable? Not "good enough" to visit someone's house if they were baptized?
I know plenty of so-called "believers" who never step foot in a church, swear at God constantly, mock Jesus daily, and never confess... they don't care. Because when it actually matters—like when marriage comes up—parents will always look at you differently if you aren't Christian. Sure, there are exceptions, but that's the rule. In my family, nobody was baptized or anything, but my mother always taught me to respect other people's faiths. I don't judge anyone based on that. It's not like I haven't cursed at God before, but I keep it to a minimum. Sometimes I slip up, then I reflect on it later...
And how am I "opposed to knowledge"? If I don't believe in God, does that make me ignorant? I recognize God, but not the church. That "institution" builds its entire power and social standing on the ignorance of the people. The church is pure hypocrisy... it doesn't follow its own laws.

For example: "be humble, don't ask for much, work hard"—I heard that's somewhere in the Bible. So why are church officials driving around in BMW and Mercedes-Benz cars worth $50,000 when they could drive something half the price? There's the answer: they've squeezed money out of people who give what little they have in their pockets, among other ways. That's life... 🤣 🤣

American football, or maybe just lifting weights... if you don't count wrestling, obviously🤣 🤣
