I have a question, maybe a bit off-topic, though perhaps not necessarily.
So: has anyone seen Star Wars Episode IV? The very first one (meaning there are four films, the start of the original trilogy)? Do you remember Darth Maul and that double-sided lightsaber of his? Well: what kind of skill is that? That staff fighting technique, what is it actually called?
Your hands and feet get cold because your core is freezing. Period. In order to keep your torso warm—along with all those vital organs—your body slows down circulation to your extremities to conserve energy for the center. It’s pretty straightforward. So, just bundle up better.
Just got my ADSL set up! Whoooho! So, if you could, please suggest a good firewall and maybe some software to track my data usage. Also, let me know if there's anything else essential I should have installed... I haven't really needed any of this stuff until now...
Oh, and I'm looking for programs compatible with Windows XP.
Look, I seriously hate it when people jump down my throat for no reason. And if a little whooohoo bothers you that much, I'm honestly speechless.
As for that comment about the hole, that's just my way of telling someone to get lost without being overly blunt.
I just finally got my ADSL set up! Whoooho! So, if you could, please suggest a good firewall and some kind of software to monitor my data usage/traffic volume. Also, let me know if there are any other essential programs I should have... I haven't really had a need for this stuff until now...
Oh, right—I am looking specifically for Windows XP compatible software.
No pillow. Well, I have this tiny little thing, All summer, I was sleeping on these massive pillows, but my neck started absolutely wrecking me (not just hurting, WRECKING me), so I finally ditched the pillow altogether. Now I sleep like a baby. And my neck feels as flexible as a python 🙂
White tea. 🙏🙏🙏 It's a tea enthusiast's dream, and honestly, it packs about ten times the antioxidant punch of green tea. I drink at least half a liter every single day, and while everyone else around me is sneezing and catching colds, I’m out here rocking short sleeves.
I mean, I already know I look better without eyebrows... 🙂 I was really just asking about the technique itself. Is there any chance those plucked hairs will grow back thicker, faster, or denser? thanks Roger Smith6
Hi there, I have a bit of an issue... well, maybe not a huge problem, but it’s definitely getting on my nerves.
So, here it is: how do I get rid of excess eyebrow hair? The thing is, I have eyebrows, right? They aren't actually joined together, but there's some hair in the space between them. It's pretty sparse, but it's there, and honestly, it doesn't look great. A long time ago, I managed to deal with those little hairs somehow—I think I plucked them, though I can't say for sure... I just remember looking damn good afterward. Way better. Now, I'd really love to fix this again, but before I go doing anything about it, I wanted to ask: What's the best way to go about it, how should I do it, when is the right time, and why bother?
A buddy of mine spent this past weekend trying to convince me that I could actually get a tiny buzz if I was drinking Coca-Cola. It sounds completely ridiculous to me, since there isn't even a drop of alcohol in it, but he wouldn't back down. Since I don't drink at all when I'm driving (though I might knock back a few Coca-Colas late at night), I guess I'm wondering if this guy is just messing with me or if there's actually some truth to what he's saying.
I've never bothered updating Windows since I use this machine strictly for gaming. Plus, my internet access is limited to a dial-up connection anyway. Maybe I'll give it a shot...
So, I’ve officially finished my first month of training, and I suppose it is time to start being more intentional about my routine. Up until this point, I have just been hitting every muscle group every single session, mostly just getting used to the movement and building up some baseline stamina. Now, I really ought to start structuring things properly. That is why I am reaching out to you all: what is the best way to split my workouts? Which muscle groups should be paired together? What should my approach be? How should I go about this?
If you could just provide me with some general guidelines or perhaps a helpful link, I can take it from there myself.
Thank you Roger Smith6
P.S. My goal is to drop at least 10 pounds of fat.
Just so you guys know, I didn't hit the gym because I decided to give my muscles a total break. Mostly because I literally couldn't even pick up a pen. Man, I have never felt pain quite like that before.
I was an idiot, and next time I’ll be much more careful. Best, Roger Smith6
