Additionally, there is one partition on the SSD labeled HPDOCS containing the HP documentation, and another designated for the system. Am I permitted to delete these partitions without voiding my warranty? Furthermore, if I proceed with deleting these two partitions, will I then be able to successfully install Windows onto the SSD?

Any drive can fail; there is no rule against it. If you tend to drop things frequently, perhaps look into the Generic series, as they feature a rubberized coating for extra protection. 😁
But I am not looking for a standard external drive. I already have one of those. I need something that fits inside that cooler (when I have the chance to use it) so it stays connected to my laptop without being an extra piece of gear I have to worry about.
I need a 2.5" SATA drive for this cooler. I'm looking for something without an enclosure, though I honestly have no idea if an external drive would even work since I don't quite understand the technicalities. The drive will be used strictly for storage, and I’m looking for at least 500 GB or more. I am unsure if this question belongs here, but I don't see a more appropriate place to ask. I was running Disk Cleanup on my C drive and accidentally selected the compression option. Later, I disabled it, and everything seemed fine. The computer functioned normally until the following day when I tried to boot it up again. Upon startup, I receive this error message: "WSKMQ is compressed. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart." When I follow those instructions, the system attempts to start, but the message simply reappears.
