Can't sleep: Struggling with insomnia in Psychology & Therapy ·
Look, man, it just doesn't make sense to dwell on it. I mean, you've got skills, right? You definitely have some natural talents tucked away somewhere. And honestly, you're already ahead of the game because you actually recognize your own struggles. So many people walk around thinking they don't have any issues at all, so naturally, they never even try to fix them. But you? You've spotted the problem. Now comes the real work—the other half of the equation, which is actually solving it. Just take it one step at a time. Day by day. Maybe even minute by minute if you have to. There’s no need to force this massive wave of happiness on yourself, either. Just stay grounded in reality, find some balance in everything, and let whatever you carry in your heart guide you toward a better present. Aim for a better way of living.

The more time you spend out in nature, the more walks you take, the more relaxed you feel.

Man, I definitely stayed up a bit too late last night, and now it’s a 6:00 AM wakeup call, haha. But honestly? I don't mind much when I hit the sack around midnight and rise at 6:00. That six-and-a-half-hour window feels just right... and what can I say? Having a long weekend really boosted my mood {and gave me an extra kick of energy}!

It’s funny how things work, isn't it? When we finally wake up to certain truths—when we stop dreaming big and start clinging too tightly to these arbitrary boundaries someone else drew for us—that's when everything starts to feel off. The world inside us and the world outside begin to feel abstract, almost disconnected, {and our visions become way too narrow}

But look, {if and when} you actually feel solid in the choices you've made, letting go becomes so much easier. You can finally move past what's gone and what no longer serves you. Maybe even that feeling of being a bit isolated, lacking that sense of community, makes time feel like it's dragging its feet sometimes.
Look, you can definitely skip the swearing if you want, but I don't see any reason to judge people who don't.

I've had people go after my entire family—living or dead—and honestly? I couldn't care less. It didn't phase me one bit because I knew deep down they had a legitimate reason to be pissed off at me {so they might as well let it rip}

A curse word is just direct communication, and most of the time, there's no actual malice behind it...

I’d much rather be angry at those idiots in modern SUVs texting while they drive {now those people are actually risking their lives and everyone else's way more than someone just letting out a swear word}
If someone’s trigger is getting cursed at—to the point where they're ready to throw hands {or even worse}--then yeah, that person is a walking hazard to everyone around them.

People are always going to talk trash. Honestly? I'd much rather deal with some foul language than someone out there stealing from me.
Can you even imagine someone who loves telling jokes actually trying to sanitize them just to avoid using a swear word?

It’s like when John walks into a house where you need a massive bank account just to get any action...
Honestly, I’d much rather have kids hearing a few swear words in class than watch teachers turn them into mindless drones by forcing them to memorize facts instead of actually teaching them how to think.

Of course you have to leave a mark on this world. And once I finally pull it off, honestly? Just let them take me out
especially if it’s the people who hate free speech.

I just want to leave my beard behind for all the most beautiful women out there

Time just crawls by way too slow, doesn't it? Especially when you're dealing with some heavy heartache. I’m a pretty low-key guy, really, but man... sometimes the struggle feels like it’s just hitting a little too hard.
Construction workers swear their heads off all day, but at least they’re actually out there getting things done at a high level. Bankers? They rarely break a sweat or raise their voices {but hey, that's how they manage to take the bread right out of the working man's mouth
Sure, dropping heavy profanity when you're talking about family or religion? Yeah, that's usually over the line {and honestly pretty tacky}. But look, casual slang or some light swearing isn't really a big deal {as long as you're with the right crowd}. I mean, how are you supposed to land a joke if you're constantly filtering yourself to sound like you're in a boardroom meeting?

If you don't have any heirs, then fine by me. But if you do? Well, then it feels a little bit unfair, doesn't it?
ironrider11 said:It’s that moment when—or right after—you fail for the first time... and someone just snatches you up for decoration. They preserve you with some chemical, wax, or lacquer... tucking you away like a spring blossom under a fancy glass or crystal dome. Doesn't matter how strong the chemicals are, entropy doesn't care about "forever"... let alone forever-forever. Eventually, in the timeline of decay and half-life... the ornament gets tossed aside and replaced by something newer, prettier, different...

Scared of entropy, plenty of people fail over and over again, hoping to "transfer their essence" into the next... ornament under the glass... or crystal... dome. Trading their soul for a shot at eternity...

And if there's too much pressure—you know, all that noise and chaos—that glass dome might actually crack. And then the whole thing just shatters into a thousand tiny pieces.

Unless, of course, there's some kind of afterlife where I can hang out as a ghost and just watch people vibing to some killer tracks I produced.

Well, you still gotta leave something behind for the selfish reasons, right? Like, especially for all those {absolutely stunning} ladies out there.

Songs, art, creative works {and even the occasional legendary forum post}
Sure, the whole point is keeping civilization moving forward {though whether people actually have the stomach for that is a whole different story}

So, what exactly defines an eternal springtime?
I mean, seriously, why do genitals even exist in the first place?

It’s mostly because the West holds so much sway over everything else on the planet, isn't it?

The West is just fundamentally broken and pretty much fake at its core, if you ask me.
