I was wondering, which store is closest to the entrance? Maybe we could just meet up there... since calling the main entrance to Central Park a specific spot is kind of a stretch, don't you think?
Whoa, you guys are moving fast! Okay, here's the plan... I'll head over to Main Street to meet up with the crew. It's a pretty good starting point for our little scouting mission.
Can someone drop a link to the nearest Walmart near Central Park? Maybe some Google Maps or whatever works... Let's aim to be there around 7:00 PM, maybe sticking around until about 8:10. That should work, right? Fingers crossed!
So, I’m thinking Friday might be our best bet... you know, just to dodge those crazy rush hour crowds? If you ask me, we should aim for sometime in the early evening—maybe around 6:30, 7:00, or even 7:30. Something like that. We could meet up near a corner bodega or a convenience store so we can grab some snacks to munch on while we hang out.
I say we all touch base throughout the day tomorrow—including anyone else thinking about swinging by—and then we can scout out the perfect spot to meet up...
Hey, anyone up for hanging out at Central Park? Maybe this Friday, Saturday, or Sunday? Honestly, I’m down to go whenever, even if we make it a regular thing!
So, I was thinking—wouldn't this be a perfect excuse for us all to get together? Maybe we could meet up for a little hangout around 5 or 6 in the afternoon? Then, if you guys are feeling it, we can stay late and catch the fireworks show afterward. What do you think?
I actually just announced this yesterday morning... so, yeah, looks like interest might be a little light, but who knows? We'll see how things shake out. If most people end up wanting a different date, we can totally switch it up. For now, we’re looking at meeting up in Central Park, since that's what I mentioned on Wednesday. Depending on how many people show up, we might head over to Lake Michigan or even The National Mall soon. Let's see what happens!
We're hanging out at Central Park tomorrow starting at 5 PM.
We’ll meet up at 5:00 over by the North Side station {right by those kiosks and the bakery}....then we'll stroll over to the park....maybe grab some snacks and drinks on the way? See you there!
I’m feeling a bit better lately, which actually helps my memory... plus, I definitely find it easier to retain things during the spring, summer, and early fall than during the late autumn or winter months.
But here’s something I’ve noticed... when my memory is at its peak, I tend to get distracted by trying to juggle too many different thoughts all at once.
Big events—like major holidays, the Super Bowl, the Olympics, or even big music festivals that I actually care about—tend to trigger these memories of who I was a year or two ago. It’s actually kind of cool, because being able to look back like that helps me analyze how much has changed.
There’s more going on in the summer, and since the days are longer, it feels different. Sure, the heat can be a total pain sometimes... but still, I’m really trying to push my brain and train it to work better.
It feels like my auditory memory is sharper than my visual memory right now. Still, I’m working on using associations to help me express myself more clearly.
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays are usually my slower days for remembering stuff compared to Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, and especially Sundays. I think the media plays a role in that too. When I cut back on watching TV, my concentration seems to jump up for a bit, and I feel more grounded. But, I am starting to notice those weird, distorted memories creeping in.
Anyway, I’m just taking it slow and steady, gradually moving through these different ways to sharpen my memory.
