God, I just love people who can't stand Mr. Von Trier... 😁 I mean, apparently you don't even need breaks if the movie clocks in under three hours, right? It reminds me of this one time—feels like a lifetime ago—back when I was hanging out in Seattle at some low-rent indie festival. You know the type: total dive bars, people smoking in the theater, drinking mid-movie, the whole bit. They were screening Solaris. About an hour in, this guy gets up, looks totally serious, and shouts out in his thick accent, "Hey, can I go hit the restroom?" Honestly, what was with that dude?! 😬 Then comes all the whispering, the shuffling, and before you know it, they end up doing a full thirty-minute intermission!
