unused 😁😁😁

So, would you even do it if it were an option? 😛
Megan Reed said:Look, just read what Scott Allen10 wrote. Organ harvesting isn't some simple thing where you’re just walking down the street, get hit by a bus, and they haul you to the morgue and strip your organs bare. It's not like that. If you end up missing a few things after an autopsy, nobody's going to flag it, but actually pulling organs for a transplant? That’s a much more complicated process.

You missed my point—obviously, I know it's not that simple. But I'm saying that once you're dead, the end result is the same for you: you're getting buried a few organs short. Whether that organ ended up being cremated because it didn't "fit" nicely in the corpse, used for some research study, or donated to a living person—it doesn't matter. Some people act like they're fighting against "automatic donation," but they don't even realize that through standard autopsies, people are already losing parts of themselves and aren't even being buried "whole" as it is.
Sure, but you won't care what happens to you once you're dead! It’s honestly kind of twisted—the idea that someone can only claim total sovereignty over their own body if someone else has to die just because there isn't a spare part available. Is your bodily autonomy in death really that damn important to you?
Megan Reed said:I'm not entirely sure what a standard autopsy has to do with organ donation 😵, but some girl told me that during her autopsy, they actually put the brain back into the abdominal cavity to "fertilize" things. 😬 When I was at my autopsy, we didn't hang around to see if they’d even bother putting everything back where it belongs. 😳 Not like it matters, really... once you're dead, you're done.

The connection is pretty simple—it doesn't matter if an organ goes to a transplant recipient or just gets tossed out some other way, as long as you aren't leaving a mess behind for everyone else to deal with... I'd much rather someone get a use out of it than just... well, you know.

And that brain thing? Totally doable. They slice it up into pieces looking for tumors, and honestly, trying to fit all those fragments back into the skull is a nightmare. It's way easier to just shove it somewhere else in the body... We also got sent home early, so we didn't stick around to watch the cleanup either.
:-) said:As far as I know, hardly anyone checks if all the organs are still accounted for before the funeral. Nobody would even notice if the doctors decided to help themselves...

But just recently, during a pathology case—basically an autopsy—they did a full, thorough examination, incisions and everything... And then the doctor said something along the lines of, "well, we can't exactly put everything back exactly how it was and perfectly rearrange it," implying some stuff might just stay missing... like extra inventory or whatever. I wasn't really paying close attention so I might have misheard... feel free to correct me if I'm wrong...

So yeah, plenty of people end up in the ground without their original internal lineup. 🙂
Michael Perez said:Is this even real!? And why would they do this? Are they trying to guilt-trip us into donating organs or something?

Honestly, once I realized how this works, I’m officially out—no more organ donation for me after I kick the bucket.

p.s.-
If there's already a thread going about this, feel free to move my post over there...

From what I understand, the law technically allows them to just take organs "just like that," but they don't actually do that in practice—it still comes down to your call.

Sure, maybe it feels things, but how is it actually gonna rebel? It’s barely even kicking, lol 🙂

Look, you've got a young mom with zero experience and basically no help—plus a father who couldn't care less—deciding this kid won't grow up to be anything useful, like an Einstein or some other success story. It’s a cycle. Kids who grow up without guidance or actual love usually end up as nothing but trouble, hurting themselves and everyone else around them. Honestly, it's better if they aren't even born than being thrown into the world just to fend for themselves...

Peter Myers29 said:Exactly. And honestly, what's the harm in being a guy? At least you know where you stand—no worrying about catching some random disease or accidentally starting a family you didn't plan for.

Look, it’s not just about dodging an STI or avoiding unplanned kids anymore. Someone actually using their head ends up with the best of both worlds—depending on how you look at it. But someone who avoids sex entirely—no risks, no kids, nothing? That person is either living in total fear or they're stuck in some crappy indie movie...

Always run some tests before jumping into "specialized diets"—you never really know how your body is gonna react.

I mean, come on—at least she's got a slim figure...

Did you know bone cells renew every 7 years, meaning we basically get a whole new skeleton every 7 years?
Did you know skin regenerates about every 7 months? It’s made of seven layers, and each layer replaces itself every 28 days.

Your medical expertise is basically straight out of a Sunday morning trivia column in a local newspaper.🙂
urbantinker11 said:ps: Hey Jamie Clark74, take it easy—don't let this get your blood pressure up. It’s probably not great for your heart, especially given your current build. 😢

So, when are you actually gonna pitch Herbalife and drop a price point that might actually save it? And seriously—do you really have to chug it for an entire month straight just to see any results?
@urbantinker11—you’d basically try to turn medicine into a religion... and let me tell you, that just doesn't fly.

Regarding B12 absorption—sure, maybe you can't isolate it from food alone, but once it hits the bloodstream via injection, the body can actually make use of it...

To call someone an idiot, a fraud, or a charlatan, you'd realistically need to know them personally.

Nah, you don't need a personal introduction for that... 😉

So, what—are you seriously building up a massive collection of fetuses in gallon jugs or something? Look, I’m all for the idea that women should have total control over their own bodies and all those spikes, but this is just getting ridiculous...

Since we’re already talking about the Democratic Party (as if we aren't always)—did you catch the news tonight? Apparently, the new interstate was finished ahead of schedule because the crew was fueled up on what? You guessed it: HL 🙂

Who would've thought! Word is, ever since they started pumping them full of HLom, those workers could pull 12-hour shifts in blistering heat over steaming asphalt without even breaking a sweat—and using 20% less water! Even the Governor promised more "cooperation" at every level of government with the HL...

Look, it’s not some fifty-fifty split situation... A woman carries that Child for nine months, and then she's stuck with the responsibility of raising them—especially since we already heard about this boy in the opening post. Raising a kid isn't some minor task—if you aren't willing or able to step up and do it right, then don't do it at all.

I mean, whoever can mentally handle abortions and the whole mess that comes with them, go ahead—but let’s not kid ourselves, we're talking about the line between a choice and murder here. Either way, a woman should have the right to make that call.
Walter Myers4 said:honestly, you can't even ask anymore😢

Oh, come on—it's really not that deep. It's not like he went through testicular necrosis or something... it was just Salmonella. 😕 😕 😕 😕
Look, it’s not even his fault—or his way of selling things. The real issue is that we've been conditioned by those endless late-night infomercials peddling everything from protein powders and herbal extracts to Amazonian frog secretions, miracle creams, fitness gadgets, "healing" air, and magnetic energy fields. Every single one of them claims to be revolutionary. They find some niche scientists who swear it changed their lives, claim there are zero side effects, say anyone can use it, and promise it'll fix everything from cancer to baldness—just call $100 right now! But wait, there's more! You'll get a bonus video worth $127 absolutely free, but only if you call this second!

Sound familiar? Huge similarities to Herbalife, right?

@Anthony Rodriguez58: Just take your meds and go to bed.
