Take out the piercings, regardless of what you've been doing before.
What's the point of wearing piercings to training? 😲
You could try kickboxing, for instance; that's my recommendation.
Plenty of girls train it, and there are all sorts of disciplines, so I'm sure you'll find something that suits you.
In my opinion, it’s definitely a better choice than Taekwondo.

Sure, there’s a KBK gym near Maxim or Peshka—maybe a bit further out if anyone here has some experience to share?

There's Barun Trenk over in the plains, but that's Muay Thai, so I'm not sure if that's really what you're looking for...
You should definitely check out that famous ProFightStore directory; just give it a quick search.
http://www.profightstore.com/adresar.aspx

Should I try to get in shape through the forum before my first session? You know, pull-ups, push-ups, lower back, abs, etc.? Or should I just jump right in and kill myself? 😁

Just go out there and train! You'll build up your conditioning naturally as you go.
If something feels too intense, just don't do it at first. It's as simple as that.

Unfortunately, I don't actually know anyone from that club, and since I haven't had the chance to work with anyone over there, I can't really give you a solid opinion on them. However, I'm sure someone else on this forum probably knows the deal, so you should be able to find some helpful feedback here.

And hey, if you're looking to dive into some heated debates about who said what to whom, you could scroll through discussions here that stretch on for miles. But honestly, if you ask me, isn't that just a massive waste of everyone's time?

I just finished my workout and I really enjoyed it. 😍

Solid performance, though I still feel he’s facing a much weaker opponent here.
The most important thing is that he proved he's still got that fighting spirit left in him. 👍
I find myself drawn to the weight and gravitas of that concept. It carries such a profound sense of finality, doesn't it? kaže:
Thank you so much... trying to find an item like that in NYC would be like looking for a needle in a haystack. 😉

Here we go again. 😁

These are a few shops that occasionally carry them, though stock isn't guaranteed:
Klon - 12 Preradovićova St
Planet Music - 37 Ilica St

This is an online retailer, so you can just order it through their website:

Good luck! 👍

Right, there was someone training somewhere out in the Pacific Northwest, but I just can't wrap my head around his username. 🤷

Random body rash: what could it be? in Health ·
Over the last few days, I've been breaking out in hives all over my body whenever I eat anything.
I received a couple of injections a few days ago, but everything just flared up again by the second day.
Yesterday, I didn't even eat, yet the allergic reaction still showed up.
I've been taking Claritin every single day, but it isn't helping at all.

Today, my doctor told me I need to go on a diet—specifically, I have to avoid proteins and carbohydrates.
But since almost every food item contains one or the other, I'm wondering what I can actually eat? How am I supposed to structure a meal plan like this??

Thanks! 👍

That sounds awful.
That’s why I never wear glasses during any kind of physical activity.
Even though my vision is pretty bad.

placidbison20 said:Look, I think it’s only people who aren't involved in combat sports or martial arts who believe there are more injuries here than in any other sport.

I remember a friend from high school who played competitive handball in a junior league. He never even needed a doctor's note for PE class; his coach would just tell him to head home and rest.

The guy basically looked like a boxer right after a brutal MMA fight.

There are tons of examples like that.
I know plenty of guys training soccer, handball, or basketball...
and they're dealing with injuries constantly, often severe ones.
In my school, one kid actually died playing soccer.
And you see people dying during marathons every single year.
Of course, I'm not saying UFC tournaments are perfectly safe, but I don't think it's the danger nightmare the media tries to make it out to be.

To be honest, though, a broken nose is what I find most revolting.

To be fair, boxers definitely take more damage to the head.

I came across this interesting article.
The data shows that injury rates tend to climb alongside both the age of the fighters and their weight class.
Facial lacerations seem to be the most frequent type of injury reported.
In fact, 40.3% of all fights ended with some form of injury occurring.

Since I know there have been debates regarding safety in the UFC (comparing it to boxing, if I recall correctly), I thought this study might interest some of you.
It feels like a great starting point for a discussion.

Say, maybe a US size 14-16.

giant 😬
Ask a coach at a local martial arts gym that uses them.
If nothing else, they should be able to point you in the right direction.
