mistypanther said:Alright, look. I’m 104 years old and honestly, I haven't moved from my chair—maybe even my bed—in the last few years. I smoke three packs a day, and let me tell you, I'm so "active" that monks who spend decades just sitting in their cells would look like Olympic athletes compared to me. But, man, I’d love to start moving. What kind of sport could I pick up to actually get back into shape and maybe drop a few pounds I've managed to pack on over the last four years? Thanks.

Fire away! 😁
Rest, Vitamin C, staying hydrated...

BTW: I just saw this computer repair shop actually called itself "Format C"! BUAHAHAHAHA! That is just too much! 😁 😁 😁 😁

Wait, if I remember correctly, aren't you in Medical School? If so, you might want to be a little more careful about what you vow during your graduation ceremony...

- The "inner" part lives right inside your blood vessels.
- The "outer" part stays outside those vessels and acts as the body's frontline defense system.

Wait, can I ask a quick question? What exactly are blood vessels? Is that some kind of legal term or something?

Casey Cook10 said:The real issue is this leftover mindset from the old socialist days regarding healthcare. Americans have gotten used to all the perks of capitalism, yet somehow they still think healthcare should just be handed out for free. ...

Free? You think healthcare is free? Give me a break! When I actually sit down and crunch the numbers on how much cash I’ve shelled out for health insurance over the last five years versus how many times I’ve actually stepped foot in a doctor's office... it turns out I could've spent that money on a few months at some high-end luxury clinic in Switzerland with a private pool and nurses in aprons instead.
Forget privatizing hospitals... what we really need is to privatize Medicare. Instead of the government deciding my premiums based on a percentage of my paycheck, I want to pay based on the actual level of service I receive.

I mean, really, isn't that the whole point of this forum? We're all here talking about health, right?
...

I still say Jay-Z should just step up, pay his fair share, and buy a proper banner ad like everyone else. Why go through all this shady, roundabout nonsense? It’s just bad business. I mean, look at local plumbers—they don't get to run free ads on Nextdoor for nothing, yet they're the first ones you call when your water heater blows up!
Honestly, when it comes to how effective those products actually are? I haven't really formed a solid opinion on them yet. And if I'm being totally blunt... I don't even care that much.

You just have to go in there guns blazing if they start playing games. I mean, threatening to go to the press, demanding to know which doctor is refusing to help, calling them out on their refusal to sign off on things—you’ve got to make some noise, go straight to the hospital administration... you know, escalate everything.

Buahaha... Like those people aren't already immune to all that even without a strike... My wife was actually stuck in the hospital for a few days a while back because the doctors wanted to "observe" her. Now, don't get me wrong, my wife is a total knockout, but what exactly are they planning to observe? They weren't even running any actual tests or anything! So she's lying there, and then on the third day during rounds, she asks the doctor to please just explain clearly what's going on and exactly what medications they're giving her and what they're for. And the guy actually laughs in her face! He tells her he's gonna kick her out of the hospital just for asking questions!??!!?
I seriously wanted to deck the guy!
So, I called up a buddy of mine who's a doctor, and he told me I should just pull her out of there because, honestly, there was absolutely no medical reason for her to be staying. So we got her discharged, and of course, everything turned out fine.
I just can't wrap my head around the sheer arrogance of these people. Seriously. If veterinarians treated animals the way these folks treat humans, they'd be dead within a day. A cow would probably gore them just for the hell of it...
Amy Fox97 said:And yeah, that’s definitely going to happen eventually.

But hey, when are we getting to the part where you start your own MLM empire selling those questionable Chinese wellness gadgets that claim to fix absolutely everything under the sun?

Alright, I need someone to weigh in on this one: if I end up laying out a doctor who’s currently on strike because he refuses to examine my wife, are the other doctors actually going to step up and help us, or are they all just going to join the picket line too?

Elaborate a little... I'm actually really curious here...
Took my wife to the movies last night—had to sit through fifteen minutes of non-stop ads for new Fords and Halo ice cream sandwiches before anything actually started... Honestly, screw that. From now on, I’m just showing up late to the screenings because this is getting ridiculous. It’s straight-up disrespectful. 👎

Honestly, the only thing that pisses me off is how we never get the real scoop on how those three damn shells are actually being used out here in the States... I am seriously itching for some actual innovation in that area... 😁

Has anyone actually tried to count the total body count—dead or just maimed—in this movie? I’m genuinely curious...
Captain Orgazmo is hands down the greatest cinematic hero to ever grace the screen (and don't even get me started on Čoda)!
If I'm forced to pick from the options you guys laid out, then obviously, it's Schwarzenegger for me! Man, oh man!
Splenectomy (spleen removal) experiences? in Health ·
Once you’ve had your spleen removed, you really have to watch out for tick bites. You could end up catching piroplasmosis (babesiosis)—that nasty parasitic disease that's usually just a problem for animals...

So, there’s this new guy in town. He just opened up his practice over on Martić's near Bauer's, and let me tell you, he is the real deal. Fully licensed, went through all the proper schooling and everything... He actually spent some time working in England, too, so he definitely knows his stuff!
