So, I actually just went ahead and ordered two more from the Austrian Bonprix site. I’m getting them through this user, ruggedgardener37—I've used her service a few times now and she's been amazing, so I'd definitely recommend her to anyone. 👍 It’s just such a massive pain trying to find a decent bra that doesn't cost an absolute fortune.
coppertinker13, which bras are you getting? Got a link? Thanks.
Hey everyone.. Bought a new Dell laptop about two months ago and now we've got a problem. It won't even power on, and there's zero sign of life from the indicator light when I plug in the charger. Worked perfectly fine until now...
Hey everyone... so I picked up a few cotton dresses from H&M for the summer. They’ve got short sleeves and a bit of a cinched look under the bust—just standard stuff. My plan is to pair them with leggings and maybe a long necklace. But here's the thing: I'm in my forties, and I really don't want to look like a grandma. Is this actually a good outfit choice? I'm a little iffy on the leggings part because my legs are pretty muscular, even if the dresses hit near the knee. Do you guys actually wear leggings? And what else could I wear for everyday looks that's comfortable without looking totally dated?
They don't ship to the States. So I just use his address instead. 🙂 The online sales are actually decent—way more frequent and better than what we get here. Plus, the quality is noticeably higher. I bought the exact same leggings for my girlfriend from both sites, and the difference is honestly embarrassing. Sad. They also have a rewards program, which doesn't exist here. Since I was ordering anyway, I just went ahead and did it. 😉
Hey @Chloe Garcia98, what kind of ankle boots or winter footwear are you wearing these days? I’m pretty athletic—mostly just live in black tracksuits or joggers. I was thinking about picking up some Ugg-style boots, but everyone keeps telling me that look doesn't work for someone tall and curvy like me.🤷 Anyone got any advice?😉

As for the house—it's possible that if the bank can't collect from his accounts, they might eventually shift their focus and file a lien against the property itself. But honestly, that usually depends on how much is owed.
We're staying current on the mortgage. The garnishments on his Chase account are actually several different ones. Between the penalties and the loans, it's a mess.
Hey. The mailman dropped off a foreclosure notice from a notary for my husband today. He owes money to Chase. We’re both unemployed right now. He's out looking for work. Quick question: can they just hit his account, or does it automatically come after my funds too since we're married? We have a mortgage on our place. Is there any way to protect the house? Even if the bank technically holds the title until the loan is paid off... Thanks for the help.

After that, the Federal Reserve sends the collection orders to the bank, the bank processes them, and if every single debt is covered, the Federal Reserve finally tells the bank to unfreeze the account.
I get how it works. I’ve been down to the Federal Reserve office and talked to the manager at my bank—there’s more than enough cash in there. But the balance on my checking account hasn't budged since yesterday morning. It's just sitting there in the black while nothing happens. They're moving like snails, and I actually need my money.
The funds hit my checking account at 8 AM yesterday and they still haven't pulled the money or unblocked everything... seriously, how long does this take?! I thought it would clear for processing immediately, but apparently not 😠
My account is frozen and my funds just hit today. Any idea how long it takes for the bank to clear everything and get me back online? Is there anything I can actually do to speed this up right now? Thanks 😉
I saw this killer black and white zebra print jumpsuit. I'm tall and wear a US size 20, so I have to ask—is it brave to pull that off with a long cardigan over it, or just a bad idea? I'd love to see some actual women's clothing offered in stores for once...

An employer doesn't actually have any connection to the bank, nor should they be signing contracts with them; all your husband needs to do is provide his account number for direct deposit, and that’s really it. If they both happen to use the same bank, the employer might save a couple of bucks on fees, and your husband might see his pay hit his account a few hours earlier than if they were at different institutions. It would be a first if an employer forced an employee to use a specific bank—not to mention that’s actually illegal, though it wouldn't make much sense anyway.
If the interest rate is variable, they have every right to change it—that’s why it’s called variable, after all, rather than fixed. You really have to factor that in before taking out a loan.
The dollar has strengthened, so perhaps that’s part of the reason why mortgage rates are climbing.
I think I’d call someone too, if I had lent them money and they didn't pay me back by the agreed date.
I get it. We messed up choosing this loan. Pure stupidity and lack of experience. As for the payroll account thing, I have to disagree. In two different cases, my employers made it a condition that I open an account at the specific bank they use for payroll. I can name names if I wanted to, since they're ex-employers. Maybe it isn't strictly legal, but I needed the job, and I wasn't exactly in a position to sue anyone (let's just say I didn't want to make waves). It's the same situation with my husband. His employer only deals with Chase, which I actually have a better opinion of than JPMorgan Chase, though they're all basically the same thing. They won't use any other bank. You say it's illegal, but that's just how it works. Especially in the service industry. Even at a large corporation that does more than just hospitality, they still forced this on me.
Here's the exact situation with my husband. When he wanted to open a checking account to get better loan terms at what was then Wells Fargo, they handed him a form requiring his employer's signature to confirm they'd do business with them. His boss refused to sign it.
I guess I have to agree with the OP here. Back when we took out our mortgage about three years ago, we went through Wells Fargo. My husband isn't even a customer because his employer refuses to set up a payroll agreement with them. So now, once a month, I’m stuck trekking down to the branch just to deal with this mess. The interest seems to jump every few payments, too. Over those three years, the balance climbed from the initial $533 to 2200 bucks. They hit you with massive fees for every little transaction, they constantly push these random insurance charges, and the people at the branch? They don't even know what the hell you're supposed to be paying. Their excuse for everything is that they won't accept direct deposit from his job. And don't even get me started on how they harass you over the phone if a payment is even slightly late. It's a mortgage. JPMorgan Chase 👎
