We ended up picking out a cake from Baker... I absolutely love their desserts, so I'm hoping the wedding version is just as delicious. We aren't really worried about sticking to a traditional wedding look since most of our stuff isn't even formal anyway :P It’ll probably be pretty eclectic 😍
Does anyone know how to explain this in English, or maybe just plain terms if you can... The initial diagnosis was "nevo di spitz atypico," which they classified as malignant because it had already metastasized. They did a contrast scan that showed it had spread to two lymph nodes... then the histology from the first surgery indicated it had metastasized to 35 different biopsy sites... during that whole process, there were several surgeries on the affected areas.. ..we're just waiting on the final results now... ..does anyone actually understand what I'm talking about? Could someone please explain it to me like I'm five...
😢 I really wish we could be with him, but he’s just too far away to travel back and forth all the time... thanks for the info, though. If I happen to find out anything else, I'll probably post an update.
Jamie Patel4, I'm so sorry... all we know right now is that it's some kind of melanoma. We'll try to dig up more details soon.😢 I just can't imagine him being gone.😢
He’s just so frantic right now that we can't seem to get a straight diagnosis out of him 😢 once I finally find out, I'll post here so maybe you all can offer some insight...
Hi everyone... it seems like just when you least expect it, illness hits. I have an uncle in his 40s living in Italy who was diagnosed with skin cancer (I don't know all the technical terms, but I think you get what I mean)... at first, he just had this little sore on his back that wouldn't heal, and when he went to have it cleaned, they found malignant cells in the tissue... ...so far, he’s already gone through surgery three times to remove the affected areas. Right now, he’s covered in about 50 stitches, with scars running from his back down to his knee, and every time we wait for the results, they come back positive. It feels like we're just going in circles 😢😢😢 ..has anyone else dealt with this nightmare? He's far away, so we can't really be there for him, and since he has two little babies, it's just really hard on us. We aren't sure how to help 😢...any advice would be appreciated...
Haha, I finally went in for that procedure myself today... honestly, it was such an experience. It’s not that I’m embarrassed or anything, it just felt a bit unsettling dealing with all that cold metal and that sensation of everything being cleared out. But the doctor was great—really patient and careful, explaining every step along the way. He made sure I knew I could ask him anything and even gave me the referrals I needed. Overall, I'm pretty happy with how it went.
Does anyone know if my primary care doctor can just write the referrals for things like morning tests, coagulation panels, and stuff like that, or am I stuck waiting for a gynecologist? I feel like I'll be waiting forever to see a specialist...
I didn't end up voting for everything, but all this news about those pills has me feeling a bit uneasy... not necessarily because of the reports themselves, but because of other things. I guess I'm wondering when you all actually got your bloodwork done after doing your research? For me, I basically just had a standard blood test; back then I was just a kid and honestly had no clue what kind of tests were actually necessary. Now I'm realizing there's probably quite a bit more to check before starting something like this. I've been on them for three years now and, thank goodness, I haven't had any side effects or mood swings... but now I'm unsure. Next time I go in, should I ask them to run some specific checks or something? It feels like those doctors can be a bit indifferent sometimes, so maybe I'll just look into seeing someone privately instead.
Haha, here’s a happy little photo... look how my feet ended up after all that dancing...😁 ...but my arms look pretty weak, honestly. I just have this little bump under my shoulder from ballet, and I really need to work on the rest of my arm because I'm not a fan of how thin they look. Does anyone have ideas on how to strengthen them? I guess I'm wondering where exactly to build muscle to get more volume there.
http://img217.imageshack.us/my.php?i...6240051bx8.jpg And here is another shot showing those thin arms; any advice would be appreciated...😢 I think by the end of the season my whole arm will probably tone up, but it might end up looking like a typical professional dancer's, and I'm not sure I love that look. I'd prefer to have a bit more volume in my arms.🤷 http://img112.imageshack.us/my.php?i...6240041md7.jpg
Yeah, I went through the exact same thing once. I ended up getting my ears flushed out and everything turned out just fine...
..but lately, it feels like my ears are clogged up because of sinus issues. My aunt actually picked up some 30% solution ear drops from her local pharmacy, and they seem to be helping me slowly...
People here will share their thoughts and maybe offer some advice... if you're absolutely certain about this, I think it's best to just see a doctor. They can answer everything you need to know, and probably sooner rather than later. I knew someone once who was in a similar spot, but she ended up having her baby because her parents sat down and really talked things through with her. This is such a heavy decision... plus, you might find yourself truly wanting a child someday. Just please, don't go getting this done just anywhere.
Not yet.. I haven't actually tried any of the pharmacies just yet :D that’s why I was asking which of these creams is probably the most highly recommended among them all..
I don't really track everything too strictly... I try to drink at least 2 liters of water a day, and I make sure to have yogurt and grains, plus breakfast and dinner... I don't drink milk since I'm not supposed to... I avoid heavily seasoned foods... I stay active and work out... but he just won't move. Grrr... :-(
My little one keeps teasing me about this... it’s not just annoying, it’s actually pretty embarrassing. I lose my cool when I'm trying to do gymnastics drills during practice. So, out of all those creams mentioned, which one is actually the best? (I've been being really careful with my diet and staying quite active lately)
I guess the only true S-factor you'll find is at Gold's Gym.. $267It's a level three program that lasts about two months... if I remember correctly, the last two levels involve barbell work and stuff like that.
Everything else is just basic exercises of that nature...
Dr. Snježana Nakić-Tošić: In the worst cases, arms or legs might swell up
While the presence of tiger mosquitoes has caused some concern at public health agencies—given they might carry various viruses or parasites—Dr. Snježana Nakić-Tošić suggests that the most significant issue is usually just a severe allergic reaction. - "About ten patients have come into my practice over the last four months presenting with fairly strong allergic reactions. It mostly affects sensitive individuals, where you might see swelling about 15 centimeters wide around the bite site. If there are multiple bites on an extremity, it can actually cause the whole arm or leg to swell," Dr. Nakić-Tošić explained, noting that this happens in roughly 0.2% to 1% of the population. Standard treatment ranges from cold compresses and corticosteroids to antihistamines if things get particularly bad.
