So much for that stereotype about women being overly dramatic. Honestly, swiftscout8, you're better off overreacting and seeing a urologist than playing it cool and ignoring a problem that might actually be there, God forbid. I lost a close friend to testicular cancer because he thought he could just brush his symptoms aside.

Mark Brooks87 said:Yeah, I thought of that too, but I’ve never actually felt that "ovulation" temperature before. If I took it, it would be around 99°F, but I wouldn't feel it. Now, though, I can feel it—like this weird heat in my head. I'm not sure what to make of it anymore. I popped some Tylenol today and Advil yesterday, but my temp won't budge from 98.4 or 98.6 until late tonight when it finally drops to 97.9. Usually, my temperature stays higher in the evening, but now it's dropping. I'm just lost at this point...

If you're in the second half of your cycle, that's probably it. I feel it sometimes and other times I don't. We aren't machines...

I don't know much about those symptoms, but since testicular cancer can move incredibly fast, I’d head straight to a urologist if I were you. Not trying to freak you out, but given how long this has been going on... check out this site you might find something useful there.

During ovulation and through the end of your cycle, temperatures usually hover around 98.6 to 99.5 degrees. That might be what you're seeing.
You don't need it for Brazil. I skipped the shot before my trip to India, but honestly, just grab some Pepto-Bismol for the potential stomach issues from the climate and food shifts, and stick to papaya if you get cramps. Just stay away from street food and be smart about bottled water. Also, in India, being a white tourist means people will try to rip you off instantly—they assume you're loaded just because you're traveling, so haggle like your life depends on it. We used to hire taxis through these little local agencies tucked inside shops to take us to various villages and ashrams; we'd pay about $33 for a three-hour ride. Enjoy!

I used to take it regularly and actually enjoyed it. I liked the taste enough that chewing them wasn't an issue—I’d just pop some gum or brush my teeth afterward, so staining was never a concern. A relative of mine struggles with iron deficiency because her body has a hard time absorbing it, though I can't say why; regardless, these tablets were the only thing that really worked for her.

Personally, I tend to stick to Spirulina or zelen magma these days. I prefer staying on the natural side of things. You could also try nettle tea or chasteberry if you're looking for alternatives.
