Personally, I didn't get the impression that she's just spiraling. She moved past the breakup stage and pulled herself up from rock bottom. She's quite resilient. Now, she can't just act on every impulse because without The Joker's protection, she has to be more calculated about whose side she takes. 😁
The scene with the chicken is excellent, truly. 😁
I don't know, though. To me, the original version was way better. It had better heists, too—she acted like a kid and a total boss at the same time. This movie felt kind of mid to me. The intro was dull, the plot dragged, the climax was meh, and the ending was just okay. And as for the female team? I expected everyone to have some sort of superpower or something special, but they all seemed so ordinary. You've got the old cop, the girl who steals, the one arguing over whether she has a bow or a crossbow... I mean, the one with the Sonic voice is cool, I guess...
It just hit me thinking about that one scene where they hit her with an arrow to knock her out. 🤣 Like, what kind of toxin is going to take her down? She's basically tried every psychiatric med under the sun and even chemically detoxed herself. There isn't much that can touch her, which is probably why she bounced back so fast. 😁
It feels like a missed opportunity that they didn't include Ivy. They're supposed to be BFFs! Maybe we'll see her in the next sequel.
