Average IQ by profession in Psychology ·
hiddenhawk3 said:I guess it isn't about how hard the college is, just what you're interested in. 🤷 You can't really compare them; for some people, memorizing a mountain of pages is way easier than learning math, and there's basically no math in medicine. 🤷
I don't know why everyone is hating on Economics so much. It's not actually that easy. 😁

offtopic:
I get where you're coming from.
Nothing personal, but it really bugs me how much harder some people have to grind just to end up with the exact same degree.
Don't even get me started on the paychecks and the actual responsibility involved.

and, why would Medicine be considered "better" than Economics or Law? 🤷 I mean, isn't it mostly about having an interest in the field? Try forcing someone into an Economics degree if they hate it, and you'll see how it goes regardless of their IQ.🙄

Look, I'm telling you, I only deal in absolute lightning strikes here... if it hits that 90 mark, consider it a gift. 😂

I can't even begin to wrap my head around why anyone would bother quoting someone else like that. It's just empty space. Give me something real to work with.

Look, I’m just gonna say it: you can't even put Medicine and Economics in the same sentence here in the States. It’s not even a fair fight. A bachelor's degree in Economics feels like a glorified term paper compared to what you deal with in Med school—and don't even get me started on Psychology.

The average undergraduate IQ sits at 115—which implies your typical Psychology TA is actually less intelligent than their own students. Makes you think, doesn't it? 🙂

In America.
Look around you and see what kind of people are actually enrolling in things like Economics or Political Science... back home. This whole argument is completely irrelevant when applied to the US.

Just thought I’d kick this thread back into gear;
what’s that one absolute killer album for you guys? why does it hit so hard, what’s your go-to track, and if you could pick anyone to play a show in Chicago...

here’s my personal lineup (not necessarily in any specific order)

albums: screamadelica
vanishing point
riot city blues
exterminator
beautiful future

tracks: swastika eyes
higher than the sun
suicide sally
some velvet morning
miss lucifer
shoot speed/kill light

anyway, tickets are going for about $30. honestly, I don't think that's much at all 🙂

Nah, I haven't, but if you check out the Eventbrite page for it, there's a map showing exactly where it's at and how to get there.
I don't even know what kind of capacity they have in there...

let me know where and when we can grab tickets😳

Ticketmaster, I think, though I'm not 100% sure if they've dropped yet

If this were Scooter Braun, it would already be front-page news on every major outlet out there...
It's pathetic, really..

Silly me... you've got a point there.
I guess we really should be talking about one of the most influential American bands from the 90s and early 2000s, the kind of group that pushes boundaries and actually brings something fresh to the table with every single record they drop.
Maybe they just don't have enough Grammy Awards, Rolling Stone Awards, American Music Awards, or Pulitzer Prizes... or whatever other bullshit awards exist...
Or maybe they aren't "cool" enough, or they're too commercial, or what the fuck? 🙂

Wait, is there seriously zero love for The Rolling Stones in this thread?
Did nobody even show up to Coachella?
zzzzzzzz😲

That "Beautiful Future" vibe sounds killer to me, honestly, kind of gives off those Vanishing Point / Riot City / Give Out energy...
obviously with that "modernized" production style they've got going on now.
I'm guessing I won't be able to find it at any local record stores in NYC, right?
I've got a feeling they're just gonna stick to the classics during the set... (not sure what their lineup was for Coachella—if anyone's got the scoop, hit me up)

honestly can't even wait 👍

We should probably just round them all up and send them to a Mike concert or something, right?

you totally forgot to mention Depeche Mode,
the absolute coolest band for all the poser kids in NYC😂

what a total load of crap ☕
goddamn VIP Music better watch their backs because I hope a massive thunderstorm rolls through and rattles their windows all night long

If INXS could pull off a set in front of 500 people, what’s stopping you, Brownie?
Just go ahead and enjoy the vibe at Quartz.
😠😠
I honestly thought it was gonna be killer, just a chill night without all the massive crowds getting in the way.

Sweet, it’s finally canceled👎

Ohhhhhhh my god

So, anyone know if there’s gonna be an opening act?
Ian Brown in Music ·
Anyone got a clue what the setlist is gonna look like?
I really can't be bothered to go digging through the internet for this crap. 😁
Amanda Roberts43 said:nah, more like Cave. honestly, people are already sick to death of his sets playing all over the States.

You really think anyone's better than Cave or DMode when you're just catering to some mindless crowd looking for a cheap thrill? ☕
Anonymous said:Man, thank God I'm not stuck there right now. With this weather being what it is, it’s gotta be absolutely miserable ☕

Where's the fun in that? You've got a trash setup and garbage weather.
But hey, at least our lungs get a good acid bath. 😂😂
