Man, I’m just praying they actually sound better than that Ureov live set—wasn't it called Rewind or something? Seriously, that was rough, man, just total garbage... except for that one killer track, One Small Day.😳

So what you're saying is that underneath the masks of these forum poser-cool guys who act like they’re so worldly and deep while blasting the "real" stuff, there’s actually just a bunch of closed-off shut-ins who won't accept any other subculture or band unless it fits their own little bubble; and if they don't get it, they just trash it?
I'm actually getting ready to set up a little home screening of the Rocky Horror Picture Show, so I've been doing some mindless scrolling online... when I stumble right onto this:
MTV Films and Sky Movies are planning to remake The Rocky Horror Picture Show. The network is planning a 2-hour-long remake to be based on the original screenplay, and featuring songs not included in the original. The film is anticipated to be released sometime around Halloween 2009. The creator of the original, Richard O'Brien, will not be involved; he has said that while he has no view on whether it should be remade, it does not have his blessing.
Total morons. I'm about to lose my mind! save the lips! 🙏
That report was a total bust. They played way longer than they said, and they definitely covered Resurrection Joe, plus a few other tracks I can't quite put my finger on... but yeah, they were definitely playing more.
Man, I remember back in June 2007, they played at that huge festival out in Columbus. They had Il Nina and Mother tearing it up, and if I recall correctly, the Scorpions closed things out. 🤣
They absolutely shredded through all the hits—you know, stuff like Rain, LRM, Edie, Fire Woman, and She Sells Sanctuary... but honestly, what really caught me off guard was when they started playing tracks from that first album, like Horse Nation, Resurrection Joe, and that totally mind-blowing Phoenix. 🙏

I don't care how many jazz purists try to lecture me about "innovation" or his "influence" on the genre—it’s all just pretentious, aimless noise if you ask me. It's basically just sonic wallpaper for people who want to feel sophisticated while they sip overpriced cocktails. Honestly, it's a total slog.
🤣 Good grief, what a complete circus of people... I honestly don't even know where to start with this one because it's just such a massive, exhausting mess, but here we go. I've been sitting here staring at the screen for twenty minutes trying to wrap my head around how we even got to this point, and frankly, it's just pathetic. It’s like everyone involved decided to collectively throw logic out the window and just see how much chaos they could stir up before anyone noticed. You look at the sheer scale of the stupidity on display and you just have to laugh, if you aren't too busy feeling completely disillusioned by the whole thing. It's all just noise, man, nothing but endless, grating noise that leads absolutely nowhere. 👋 Daft Punk 👋
So, I’ve been hearing through the grapevine from some folks close to the organizers that they actually reached out to Radiohead first, and then tried their luck with Moby. Unfortunately, Radiohead basically gave them the cold shoulder, so they had to just settle for Moby. Anyway, to make a long story short...😁

Are you talking about that festival out in the Midwest? Honestly, it was alright; they played a few absolute gems from Dreamtime that I've loved forever, so it was pretty decent 😉

Back when I was in high school, the big divide wasn't even about genres—it was just being a punk or a preppy 😁 forget all this pop versus Metal nonsense; back then, the skinheads were out there causing absolute chaos all over town... Man, looking back, those really were the good old days. 😳 🙂
