LA Clippers vs San Antonio Spurs 2
Man, I’m telling you, the oddsmakers are absolutely ruthless! Yesterday the line was sitting at 2.05, but then they went and slashed it down to somewhere between 1.85 and 1.90 depending on which sportsbook you were looking at—they seriously don't leave a single thing to chance, do they? It's like they know exactly what we're thinking before we even think it! Anyway, looking at the matchup, the San Antonio Spurs are coming out of the gate swinging just like they finished last season, sitting pretty with a 4-0 start, while the home team is struggling big time, dropping two straight games right in front of their own fans. If you look at the recent momentum, though, the Spurs have been absolutely dominant, walking away with a win in six of their last seven outings. They just seem to have that edge right now, you know?
Houston vs Denver? Man, I'm looking at that spread and thinking—are we really doing this? Houston at -2.5 against Denver... seriously? You honestly think Houston has enough juice to cover that much against a Denver squad that plays like they're possessed by the spirit of pure dominance? It feels like a trap, man, a total setup! Like, do people even realize how tough Denver can be when they get rolling? I mean, you look at the matchups and you just start questioning everything. Is it actually possible? Or are we all just walking straight into a buzzsaw here? I don't know, I'm leaning toward Denver covering, because honestly, who's going to stop them?
I mean, look, once you factor in James Harden and Jeremy Lin, we’re talking about a completely different beast of a squad, right? You could see that vibe from the jump—they came out swinging with those two wins, and man, Brandon Knight was absolutely cooking out there! They only stumbled and took a loss in overtime last time out, but honestly, I think they should handle the visitors today. I’m not exactly shaking in my boots or anything, because let’s be real, this opposing team doesn't exactly inspire a ton of confidence in me. They just don't look the part, you know what I mean?
Tim Duncan over 16.5
So, I placed a little bet the other day that ended up being a total loser, but honestly? Who cares? It wasn't even a bad call, it just didn't matter because they were already blowing the doors off the Indiana Pacers by such a massive margin that there was zero reason to push it. But look, I’m seeing him again today, and I've got my eyes on him—I'm expecting him to be out there for at least 30+ minutes and looking to take 15+ shots. You watching? Because I am.
I’m looking at that Boston Celtics vs. Washington Wizards matchup, specifically thinking about whether we’re seeing the under on 186.5 points—and man, let me tell you, I’ve got some serious doubts about this one! Do we really think these two teams are going to turn into a track meet and just trade buckets until the lights go out? It feels like such a stretch! You look at the pace, you look at how these defenses have been playing lately, and you gotta wonder if anyone actually has the gas in the tank to push a score north of 186. Is that even realistic? I honestly don't see it happening, so I'm leaning heavily toward the under!
I mean, honestly, all I can say is that the visitors are absolutely gutted because they’re missing three of their absolute best guys—Wall, Nenê, and Timofey Mozgov. Seriously, how are they even supposed to compete? I'm sitting here looking at this roster and I genuinely don't see anyone who can step up and fill those shoes. Who on earth is going to replace that kind of production? It's a total disaster!🤷Man, looking at the numbers, almost every single squad besides the Boston Celtics has been staying under that 90 point mark against the Miami Heat lately. I mean, seriously, can we even call it high scoring anymore? Just a few days ago, we saw a total of 175 points dropped on the floor, but honestly, looking at the vibe today, we might be looking at an even lower turnout. Who knows? It feels like the scoring just isn't there right now!
Are we seriously looking at Jennings over 17.5? I mean, come on, are we actually doing this right now? Is anyone else seeing this, or am I just losing my mind? It feels like every time we look at these lines, they’re set just high enough to make you second-guess everything, but honestly, how can you not see the potential here? You look at the matchup and the volume he's getting lately, and you really have to wonder if the oddsmakers are even watching the same games we are! It's driving me crazy!
Man, that last one totally screwed me over! He only put up 13 points—shooting 4-of-8—but honestly, looking at how few shots he even took, I was expecting way more. Today, though? I’m expecting total, absolute domination. If they pull this off and take a 3-0 lead, it would be the most insane start they've had since the 2005/06 season. Plus, in the last head-to-head matchup where they walked away with the win, he absolutely went nuclear and dropped 24. So yeah, I'm feeling it!

13 wins and 12 losses. Seriously? How are we even looking at a record like that right now? It’s just one of those things that makes you want to throw the remote through the TV, you know what I mean? You look at the standings and you just see this messy, middle-of-the-road disaster staring back at you!

No disrespect to wiredcanyon39, but honestly, you going with both players at 20.5 in the favorite was just smarter since one lucky bucket can flip the whole script on you, right?🤷 Personally, I learned my lesson the hard way when I took Mel over 27.5 in the favorite while every single bookie in town had him at 26.5—you know exactly how that disaster ended up☕. We’ve got some solid pairings today, so it might be worth grabbing a few singles, but man, you really gotta watch out for those total traps🤷

stormyseal9 said:Let’s get out there today and grab some picks from the bookies!😉

Carlos Boozer over 16.5
They were actually looking pretty solid earlier in the season, you know? I mean, they held their own with an 18-game stretch where they went 8-13 against the Sacramento Kings, and then they played 19 games against the Cleveland Cavaliers and kept things interesting. But man, that loss against the New Orleans Pelicans? Absolute disaster. The whole squad just completely fell apart on the court! How do you even show up like that? They only managed to sink 4 baskets while shooting a pathetic 1-8 from beyond the arc. Seriously, what were they thinking?!🙂I mean, honestly, he really needs to step up and deliver a solid performance today to make up for things, right? Especially since the Orlando Magic matchup is basically tailor-made for him—I mean, look at what happened last time when he absolutely tore them apart and dropped 24 points!
Greg Monroe over 13.5
Look, when you look at how these teams play, they are absolutely loaded with scoring potential, especially with the way their home squads run things—it’s just high-octane stuff. Honestly, if he finds that rhythm we saw him hitting last season, he could easily blow right past this line. I mean, just look at the numbers from his first three outings! He was dropping 14, then 10, then 8 points while only playing about 30 minutes a night. If he gets that same kind of floor time and stays on his game, why wouldn't he crush this? It just makes sense!
Anthony Davis under 20.5? Seriously? Are we actually doing this right now? I mean, look, I get it, people love to play it safe with the numbers, but man, you really gotta look at the matchup and how things are shaking out on the court before you go throwing money at a line like that! Is he really going to stay under? I don't know, man, it feels like such a gamble when you consider everything else!
Look, I know he absolutely tore it up in those first two games and he’s sitting there with a massive 25.5 average, but honestly? I don't see him clearing this margin today. I mean, come on, isn't it obvious? We all know the Chicago Bulls have the most suffocating defense in the league right now, and there is zero chance they’re just going to stand there and let him run wild like that!☕.
Chicago Bulls vs Orlando Magic 9.5? Are you kidding me right now?! Is anyone actually watching this? I mean, seriously, look at the matchup! You’ve got the Bulls facing off against the Orlando Magic and the spread is sitting at 9.5, which honestly feels like a total joke if you ask me. Like, who actually thinks there's a nine-point gap here that makes sense? Does anyone really believe the Bulls are going to be struggling that much against Orlando? It's wild, man, just absolutely wild! One minute you think you're looking at a blowout, and the next, everything flips. I don't know, I'm just fired up about it!
If you want my honest opinion, this is easily the safest bet on the board right now—if you can even call it that! I was watching them take on the Phoenix Suns during the second half the other day, and man, it was absolute perfection. I honestly felt like I couldn't possibly lose this one. They’ve got threats coming at you from every single angle! You've got JJ Redick and Eric Moore just absolutely shredding it from beyond the arc, while Anthony Davis is out there completely dominating the paint like a beast. It honestly looks like losing Dwight Howard and dealing with those injuries to Nelson and Heda hasn't slowed them down one bit. Plus, they've got solid Andresse Afflalo stepping up and actually proving he deserves his minutes. Seriously, how could anyone bet against this?

Just placing a standard single bet, SS.

Good luck to everyone out there chasing those parlays!👍

Man, Carlos Boozer was absolutely tearing it up again! Seriously, how does he keep doing that? It’s like he just decides one night to go on a rampage and nobody can stop him. Honestly, it's getting ridiculous at this point, isn't it?🙂 Look, 12 shots going 6-for-18 isn't exactly a masterclass, is it? But honestly, what's the point in sitting here whining about it all day when complaining doesn't change a single thing on the scoreboard? It’s useless! Let's just quit the bellyaching and move on to the next one already.😉
NBA Betting: Vol. 2 in Betting Forum ·
Alright, let's go grab some wins from the bookies today😉

Carlos Boozer over 16.5
-He started the season looking absolutely lethal, dropping 18 (8-13) against the Sacramento Kings and then 19 (7-11) against the Cleveland Cavaliers, but then he completely fell off the face of the earth in that loss to the New Orleans Pelicans, and honestly, the whole squad played like garbage, putting up only 4 baskets while shooting a pathetic 1-8.🙂I feel like he owes us a decent performance today to make up for it, especially since the Orlando Magic are basically his favorite matchup—he dropped 24 on them in their last meeting.
Greg Monroe over 13.5
-When these two teams meet, it’s usually a high-scoring shootout because of how they play, specifically with that home squad's style, so I think he could easily clear this line if he plays at the level we saw from him last season. In his first three games, he put up 14, 10, and 8 points while playing around 30 minutes per game.
Anthony Davis under 20.5
-Even though he looked incredible in his first two outings and is averaging a cool 25.5 points, I don't see him clearing this margin today because, let's be real, everyone knows the Chicago Bulls have the best defense in the league, and there is no way they’re just going to let him run wild like that.☕
Chicago Bulls (-9.5) vs Orlando Magic
-In my book, this is the safest play you can make, if you even want to call it that. I watched them against the Phoenix Suns in the second half once and it was absolute perfection; I walked away feeling like they couldn't miss. They've got threats everywhere—JJ Redick and Eric Moore are absolutely tearing it up from deep, while Anthony Davis is just dominating everything under the rim. It looks like losing Dwight Howard and dealing with injuries to Nelson and Heda hasn't slowed them down one bit, plus they've got solid Andresse Afflalo stepping up and proving he belongs.

Standard unit, SS

Good luck to everyone following any of these picks👍

I'm done with these stupid "draw" bets at 1.20 odds or whatever, I just don't touch that junk anymore...

The thing about betting on draws is there's zero luck involved, just pure risk with absolutely no actual money to be made from it🤷. Honestly, you're better off hitting a spread at 1.85 or just taking a straight win if the odds look juicy, especially since the bookies totally miscalculated things like they did during that Golden State Warriors vs Memphis game😉,and today the selection actually looks decent even though there are only three games on the board; I've got one matchup locked in, but I'm not saying a word until my bet is actually placed☕.

stormyseal9 said:Man, one ticket just went up in smoke, absolutely gutted, but hey, there's still a second one alive and kicking with Anthony Davis + Jrue Holiday still in the mix!😍Oh man, I totally missed adding Jrue Holiday over 16.5 to my breakdown! My bad! Now I’m just sitting here sweating, waiting on the Orlando Magic to cover that -2.5 spread and praying DeMar DeRozan hits his over 15.5. Fingers crossed!☕.

Man, there is absolutely nothing more infuriating than when the over and the under both hit at the exact same time depending on which sportsbook you're looking at! Like, are you kidding me right now? How does that even happen? It’s enough to drive anyone insane!😉It’s a total win-win situation, isn't it? Honestly, when everything just lines up like that, what can you even say? It’s one of those rare moments where everybody walks away happy, and frankly, if you aren't seeing the upside here, I don't know what to tell you!👍

A little bit of cash just rolled in—nothing crazy, mind you, but hey, a win is a win and it definitely puts a smile on my face!🎉I woke up around 4:30 AM thinking I’d grab the Phoenix Suns spread, hoping they’d at least cover +15 to make the early morning grind worth it, but man, those Orlando Magic really lived up to their name and just absolutely tore everything apart, finishing with a massive +21 win!🙏

Man, one parlay just went up in smoke, but I’ve still got another one breathing life right now featuring Anthony Edwards + Jalen Holiday😍—which, honestly, I totally missed including in my breakdown. Now I’m just sitting here white-knuckling it, waiting on the Orlando Magic to cover that -2.5 spread and praying Bradley Beal hits his over on 15.5 points☕.

P.S. Is there anything more satisfying than when an over and an under both hit at the exact same time depending on which sportsbook you used?😉 It's basically a total win-win situation if you play it smart enough👍.

Keith Moore21 said:DeAndre Chandler played last game, so there’s no going back on that one... and if Marcus Camby only grabs five shots, I’ve already said enough, so that doesn't even touch Carmelo Anthony's shot count... I mean, this is the kind of guy who is always gonna demand his 15-20 touches, and he can drop 30 points on any squad without even breaking a sweat... which makes guys like him such a massive gamble to bet on... if he gets hot and starts hunting, he’ll easily rack up 25-30 attempts, and then the over looks super tempting... obviously, I'm rooting for the under, but I'm just giving you my two cents and some little corrections 😉

Look, I agree Chandler was out there, but he only logged 24 minutes because he's feeling under the weather and only took five shots—usually he’s looking at closer to ten—and nobody is saying Carmelo Anthony can't chuck 30+ shots, right? The real question is whether he actually *will*, because if you’ve been paying any attention lately, he hasn't been anywhere near those volume numbers he used to hit🤷. Some people just stare at what happened in the last game, but me? I look at way more than just that😉. Of course, none of this is a guarantee because every single game is its own beast, but if someone is hitting the under 90% of the time, I don't think that's just luck, I think it's a pattern with a few random exceptions thrown in here and there🤷. Most of the time I’m leaning toward the over, especially with him, but the Philadelphia 76ers aren't the Denver Nuggets or some other defensive powerhouse where you have to grind out every point; with them, it's all about who can just outscore the other side😉.
NBA Betting: Part 2 in Betting Forum ·
I ran two different slips today, so I’m gonna split them up here for you guys☕

Russell Westbrook over 23.5
-Look, he’s a weird player, okay? Total wildcard. But man, am I thankful for him when betting because he’s got such a massive green light that he just doesn't care—he'll happily chuck 20+ shots a night if that's what it takes. His start to the season wasn't exactly pretty against the San Antonio Spurs where he dropped 18 points on a miserable 6-of-21 shooting, but then he goes against the Portland Trail Blazers and suddenly it's a whole different story, right? He was dialed in, hitting 13-of-24 for 32 points! And don't forget, against the Atlanta Hawks over the last three games, he’s been averaging a solid 25 points per outing.
Kobe Bryant over 27.5
-People were seriously questioning if he’d even start the season because of that injury, but honestly, Kobe showed up and played surprisingly well. Especially with his efficiency—usually, he rarely cracks the 50% mark, but after three games, he’s sitting at over 60% on twos and 50% from deep. And let's be real, if the Los Angeles Lakers end up losing today, they'd be heading into the worst start since this whole franchise moved to Los Angeles. I don't believe for a second that Kobe is gonna let that happen without letting it rip, and if he has to take 30 shots to get there, he will.
New York Knicks under 96.5
-I know, I know, some people are pointing out how they dropped 104 on the Miami Heat the other day, but let's be honest: they basically got lucky because the defense was absolute garbage and allowed 19 three-pointers! The Philadelphia 76ers are known for having a gritty, tough defense, and I just don't see them letting something like that slide again. Plus, look at their recent games—they’ve been consistently keeping opponents well under this margin.

Philadelphia 76ers - New York Knicks 98-90
Philadelphia 76ers - New York Knicks 79-82
New York Knicks - Philadelphia 76ers 94-106
New York Knicks - Philadelphia 76ers 85-79
Carmelo Anthony under 27.5
-The same logic applies to him as it does to the team. He put up 30 against Miami (10-of-28), but let's call it what it was: mostly thanks to his perimeter game (4-of-8 from three). But today? He shouldn't be looking to go crazy for the reasons I mentioned before. You also have to factor in the return of Marcus Camby and DeAndre Chandler; with them back in the mix, he's probably going to settle for fewer shots inside.
Orlando Magic (-2.5) over Phoenix Suns 1
-I seriously don't get why everyone is sleeping on the Magic. In their first game, they proved that even without Dwight Howard, they're still a highly respectable squad that can make anyone's life a nightmare. They’ve won 5 of their last 6 against the Phoenix Suns, including a 3-game win streak where they averaged a 16-point margin. To me, that’s more than enough to make the call, especially since when the Suns lose lately, they tend to get blown out by more than the spread offered here. If you're feeling a bit shaky about it, just taking the straight win at 1.85 is fine too.☕.

Good luck to everyone following along👍, just a heads up that the first three picks were placed through High Level, and the rest are through Favorite.

graniteotter6 said:Boldano got stung, everything else is just pure bullshit.🤦
I'm still trying to find my rhythm with this season, but man, it is not going to be easy.
Just look at tonight—the Denver Nuggets went way over (yeah, okay, so Miami Heat covers the spread, there's our pattern for the future, right?), then the New Orleans Pelicans without Anthony Davis after playing the Utah Jazz on a back-to-back actually take the win in Chicago (1, 2 on the Chicago Bulls), while Dallas Mavericks and Charlotte Hornets both go crazy over 😲, Indiana Pacers can't even pull a win in the regular season because their roster is such a mess of inconsistent players who you just can't trust. On top of all that, I'm half-expecting the Clippers to choke against the Warriors just for the icing on the cake. What a garbage day, both in soccer and the NBA.

There aren't any rules here, honestly, because tomorrow things could flip back to how they were in a heartbeat! It was totally expected that the Houston Rockets would go under since fatigue is a huge factor, and I mean, we can't hit 200+ points every single night, right? I was torn between picking LeBron James or taking the under on Dwyane Wade, but whatever, it is what it is. While Monta Ellis has been a massive surprise to me, he’s basically just doing the same hot-and-cold thing he did last year. Tony Parker was an expected over, and since Tim Duncan is involved, maybe we see an under on Tim because it's rare for him to go over three times in a row—which is usually his deal—but hey, we'll just have to see how the momentum shifts.
NBA Betting: Part 2 in Betting Forum ·
Man, after that total disaster of a fall yesterday, I'm heading back out there today to try and grab some cash🤷

LeBron James over 26.5
-So, look, after that embarrassing blowout loss against the New York Knicks last night, I honestly think he’s gonna go absolutely ballistic on Denver, especially since their defense is basically non-existent right now. I mean, King James didn't quite hit this line in his first two outings, dropping 26 and 23, but Denver just seems to be his type of matchup, right? Since joining the Miami Heat, he's been averaging a massive 34 points while shooting over 60%, so why wouldn't he explode again?
Houston (203.5) vs Portland Trail Blazers Under
-Honestly, bringing in the Bearded One might have been the smartest move they've made in like a decade. James Harden has been absolute fire in his first two games, putting up 82 points total and dragging them to two straight wins! Both teams are playing on a back-to-back tonight, so I'm betting neither side is going to be scoring at a frantic pace. Plus, looking at Houston lately, they've won 13 of their last 15 home games, mostly by suffocating opponents—they held the Blazers to an average of only 88.7 points. I'm calling it around 190 total points for this one.☕.
Tony Parker over 18.5
-He looked pretty decent in his first two starts, putting up 23 and 14 points while shooting 45% in about 35 minutes of action. Sure, he was a little quieter against the Oklahoma City Thunder, but he was still making plays and dishing out 11 assists to keep everyone involved. I'm expecting the home team to drop at least 15 more points today, which means even more opportunities for him to get shots up. Over his last 16 appearances, he's been sitting pretty with a 22-point average.
Jennings over 17.5
-I mean, if he was able to drop a monster 21 points at Madison Square Garden yesterday, what is he supposed to do against a weak Cleveland Cavaliers squad that's basically been his favorite victim for the last few years? They've won five in a row against them, usually scoring around 110. Last season, he was consistently putting up 22 points on 50% shooting, so how can he possibly miss this?

stormyseal9 said:Back from my day off and I am diving straight back into the NBA madness!

Boston Celtics vs. Miami Heat, total points under 196.5... man, I am telling you right now, just get ready to cash that ticket because this game is going to be an absolute defensive grindfest! Why would anyone think these two teams are actually going to trade buckets all night? They aren't! It’s going to be physical, it’s going to be ugly, and honestly, if you think they're hitting the over, you clearly haven't been watching how these squads play when the intensity ramps up. Just look at the pace—it's sluggish, it's gritty, and there's zero chance we see a track meet here. I'm calling it now: under 196.5 is the only play that makes sense if you actually want to keep your money in your pocket!
Look, Domacin, are you even watching the games? Last year this team had the second-best defense in the East, especially when they were playing at Madison Square Garden where they barely let anyone crack 85 points! It’s like a fortress or something! And now look at these matchups—every single game against these guys stays well under that limit. I mean, seriously, the Boston Celtics have dipped below 90 three times in their last five outings, and Mitchell is out here hovering right around the 80 mark. How do you not see the pattern?!🤷Look, you can't seriously be judging anything based on that first game against Miami, right? I mean, come on! That's a completely different beast compared to who they're facing today, especially when you consider how tough Miami plays when they've got home-court advantage. It’s like comparing apples to oranges! You can't just take that result and run with it like it defines their whole season, because let's be real—that matchup was on a totally different level.
Man, I am telling you right now, if you aren't taking the under on OKC scoring this game, what are you even doing with your life? Seriously, how can anyone look at this lineup and think they’re just going to drop 106 or more points? It's honestly laughable! They struggle to find any rhythm when the defense tightens up, and once that happens, the whole offense just kind of falls apart, you know? You see them passing around the perimeter, looking for that perfect shot that never actually comes, and then—bam—turnover, transition bucket for the other team, and suddenly the scoreboard isn't moving at all. Why does everyone always expect these guys to explode for massive numbers every single night? It’s like people forget they aren't some unstoppable offensive juggernaut! I’ve been watching this trend for weeks, and I’m telling you, the math just doesn't add up for them to clear a line this high. Just take the under and stop overthinking it!
Props to Martin for dropping 15 boards in that massive performance, seriously, what a beast, but let’s be real for a second—James Harden is still playing on an entirely different level than him, and honestly, it’s only a matter of time before everyone realizes exactly how much they screwed up by letting him walk. I mean, do people really think they’re gonna be consistently clearing that 100+ point mark like they were in years past? I highly doubt it! On top of that, the Portland Trail Blazers actually looked like a legit squad tonight, especially after adding a superstar rookie like Damian Lillard, if you saw how he handled himself against the Los Angeles Lakers. I’m telling you, there's serious value in taking the points with the visitors, maybe even grabbing a handicap of +8.5.
Man, I am telling you right now, if you aren't taking Minnesota under 97.5, what are you even doing with your life? Seriously! Are we really going to sit here and pretend they’re going to drop nearly a hundred points on us? No way! It’s just not happening! I don't care what the pundits say or what some "expert" on ESPN thinks—it's a total trap! They just don't have that kind of offensive firepower consistently, you know? It's all hype until they hit that wall, and then suddenly it's a struggle just to get into double digits in the fourth quarter. Why does everyone always fall for these inflated totals? It drives me absolutely insane! Just take the under and stop overthinking it, for crying out loud!
Look, I’m telling you right now, without our leading scorer Love dropping his usual 26 a night and having Rubi running the point, there is absolutely no way in hell we're covering this spread! It’s impossible! Especially after seeing how the Sacramento Kings looked out there—they were playing lights out, honestly, barely breaking a sweat while they held the Chicago Bulls to a measly 93 points. How are we supposed to compete with that kind of defensive energy if we don't have our heavy hitters on the floor? It just doesn't add up!
Man, I am telling you, watching this Golden State vs. Memphis matchup is giving me a serious headache! Seriously, how does anyone actually enjoy watching this kind of grind? It’s just constant, exhausting physical play that makes me want to throw my remote at the wall! You look at what's happening on the court and it's like, is anyone even playing actual basketball anymore, or are we just watching a wrestling match disguised as an NBA game? Honestly, it's driving me absolutely insane!
Look, I’m taking the away team here because let’s be real, they actually have a decent roster and they’ve absolutely owned this matchup for the last six games straight! People are probably gonna look at the home team and call them the favorites just because they put up a solid defensive show against the Phoenix Suns recently, but please, give me a break. The visiting squad started their season with a loss 12 years in a row—I mean, seriously, how much more can they take before they finally step up? Because after that kind of streak, you'd think they'd come out today with some actual grit and a better game plan, right? I’m expecting a totally different approach tonight and a massive win, especially since the odds are sitting at a juicy 2.0. You can't tell me that's not a steal!☕.

Standard entry, SS.

Three wins and five losses... seriously? Are we actually doing this right now? I mean, look at the record! How do you even look at a stretch like that and try to act like everything is fine? It’s just straight-up bad, man. We’re stumbling around out there like we don't even know which way the basket is! What happened to the momentum we had? You can't just sit there and expect things to magically flip around when we're playing this kind of disorganized ball. It’s frustrating, it's exhausting, and honestly, it’s just embarrassing to watch at this point!

What are you even trying to say? Seriously, what's the deal here? Give me something real to work with!🤷Man, I am absolutely losing my mind right now! Seriously, I’ve got nothing left! Lamba goes and trips up with that play just twenty seconds before the buzzer, and honestly? It felt like the money was ripped straight out of my hands! How does that even happen?! My heart is actually pounding, I'm so heated!🙂

Back from my day off and diving straight back into the NBA

Boston under 196.5
-Look, the home team had the second-best defense in the East last year, especially playing at the Garden where they usually hold teams to under 85. Most of these opponents they face consistently stay under that mark too (the Celtics have dipped below 90 three times in their last five games, and Milwaukee usually hovers right around 80 points🤷). I really don't think we should be looking at that first game against Miami because let's be real, those guys are on a whole different level compared to whoever they're facing today, especially at home.
OKC under 105.5
-Huge props to Martin for dropping 15 points in a massive debut, but seriously, Harden is just operating on a completely different plane than him, and time will eventually show just how much they lost when he left town. Because of that, I just don't see them consistently smashing through that 100+ mark like they did in years past, plus Portland looked like a legit squad, especially with that stellar rookie Lillard joining the mix based on how they handled the Lakers. Maybe take the +8.5 handicap on the visitors
Minnesota under 97.5
-Without their top scorer Love (averaging 26 points) and their floor general Rubio out there, I just don't see them clearing this line, especially since Sacramento showed up looking sharp and forced Chicago to work for it, allowing them 93 points
GS-Mem 2
-I'm taking the visitor here because they honestly have the more talented roster and they've absolutely dominated the last six matchups between these two. The home team is probably being pegged as the favorite because they pulled off that win in Phoenix where the defense looked decent, but the visitors have started their season with a loss 12 years in a row now. Because of that, I’m expecting a way better approach tonight and a victory—getting 2.0 odds is honestly a steal☕.

There's only one lone game on the NBA schedule tonight, so honestly, we might as well all just pivot over to EuroLeague 😁

The Raptors totally choked away a win they basically had in the bag🤷,but hey, you aren't wrong about tonight—EuroLeague it is, hopefully something actually lands for us😉

Congrats, I’ve been through an actual total meltdown myself
, but honestly? I’m skipping the NBA tonight and switching over to EuroLeague coverage instead🙂 ☕

Man, what a bummer about Miami, but honestly? That feeling hasn't left me yet and I’m telling you, things can only look up from here for the rest of the season!😉

Toronto
-So the home team has been absolutely tearing it up in the preseason (going 6-1), and if you ask me, they’re looking like a legitimate threat this year. I mean, they actually managed to keep their heavy hitters like Siakam and DeRozan, plus they snagged Valanciunas—that Lithuanian big man should totally dominate the paint, especially since he’s already showing what he can do in training with an average of 8 points and nearly 7 boards. Throw in guys like Lowry, Lucas, and Landry, and suddenly you’re looking at a squad that actually commands some respect. On the flip side, the visitors are taking a massive hit without Granger; losing his 20 PPG average is huge, especially when none of their other starters even touch the 12.8 mark. It's gonna be a nightmare to replace that kind of production. Last season, these two met three times and the away team walked away with the win all three times (always within a 5-point spread), but let’s be real—they were at full strength back then while Toronto was playing without Siakam, which is a massive hole to fill. The oddsmakers had the home team at 2.25 yesterday, but the line started tanking toward 2.05 by the time I actually dropped my money. Plus, the home coach is sitting pretty with a 3-0 start to the season.
Dallas +8.5
-Look, everyone wrote them off against the Lakers, but they proved they could still take down a powerhouse like LA even without Dirk and Komando. Today they’re facing a team they basically own—they’ve won 7 out of their last 8 matchups (and that one loss went to overtime anyway). Even if they end up losing, I don't see them getting blown out by much.
Griffin over 18.5
-I played this guy constantly last year, and man, there were days I wanted to pull my hair out because he'd just fail me, but the guy is an absolute beast. Now that he’s finally shaken off that injury that sidelined him for months, he should clear this line easily. Honestly, 18.5 feels way too low given how he plays; last season, his line usually hovered between 21.5 and 23.5.
Deng over 17.5
-With their star player dealing with that injury setback again, everything shifts back to him. He’s definitely going to be hunting for at least 15+ shots, and since he’s got a decent eye for the three-pointer, I think the over is a no-brainer.

Carl Williams11 said:Does anyone actually know any decent sites for betting on NBA player props? Like, over/under stuff? I've been scrolling through a bunch of them lately but honestly, the selection is kind of trash.

Look, man, we’re barely even into the season—only three games on the schedule today—but if you're obsessed with hitting those overs, FanDuel is probably your best bet, though they have this incredibly stupid rule where you can't parlay different teams and players together. It's such a pain!🤷

Finally, the NBA season is actually kicking off, so let's get right to the meat of it and drop some picks with the bookies!😉

CLE/WAS Under
-The spread on this one feels way too wide when you actually look at how these teams have been playing lately, seriously.🤷The Cavs are already missing Jamison, and their main guy, Kyrie, just dropped a quick 4 triples seven days ago and somehow lost like 11 pounds in the process—so, honestly, who knows if he’ll even have the gas to put up a real performance? On the Wizards side, they're gutted without Wall, who’s basically their whole engine with those 16 points and 8 assists per game, plus they’ve got Nene out too, and the guy was killing it last half-season averaging 10. Let's look at the math: in their last four matchups, it went under, CLE has hit the under in six straight home games as favorites, and Washington closed out last season with a 6-game win streak where they only went over 85 points once. For the degens looking for more action, maybe take the Wizards outright or at least the +5.5 spread.
Miami Under 95.5
-This is basically a rematch of last year's Conference Finals where the home team basically lucked their way into a win. I haven't seen much of this new Celtics squad yet, but everyone on the sports sites and forums is buzzing about how they're even better than last year. They lost Allen, sure, but they brought in Terry, Barbosa, and Lee, plus grabbed Sullinger and Fab Melo in the draft. We all know Boston doesn't play high-scoring shootouts, and LeBron isn't even 100% fit because of that nagging injury. The under just makes sense here. If it weren't the start of the season, I might even grab the road team to win, but I’m gonna wait until I see what they can actually do.
LAL Under 98.5
-I mean, what can you even say about a roster where the starting five is worth over $100 million a year? (They brought in Howard, Nash, and paired them with Black Mamba, Gasol, and MWP). It could be a lethal combo once they find their rhythm, but right now? They aren't even close to that. Just look at the preseason—they went 0-8 and didn't even crack this total once. Plus, Kobe's status is looking shaky today, so there's no way they're clearing 90, let alone hitting 100.
LeBron Under 28.5
-Like I mentioned before, he tweaked his ankle in the last preseason game, and I highly doubt he's going to push it and take 20+ shots, especially since Miami has so much depth with Wade, Bosh, and Ray Allen. Even when he's fully healthy, he hasn't been dropping 30+ on Boston consistently.

Standard units, let's hit those parlays.

That's all I got for the season opener. Good luck to everyone, hope we all cash!👍.

Take Greco, for instance—even though he pushed back against the rules at first, he ended up becoming the absolute top contributor for tennis betting on this forum.

Anyway, I think I'm done posting in this thread. I'll wait for one of the admins to weigh in and give us their take.

Just so we’re clear and nobody thinks I’ve got some kind of beef with the admins—especially since I actually think Eric Fox7 is a great guy who always gives me solid, logical replies—it’s just this constant push for everyone to write deep-dive analyses that really bugs me. I mean, if someone actually wants to think, they’ll just write it, right? And who knows, maybe the people obsessively following every single PDF update are the only ones who truly understand how things work around here or who they can actually "trust," if you can even call this gambling community trustworthy. I’ve never been one for ultimatums, man, it’s just not how I’m wired, end of story.🤷And regarding what Bambusov said about us not needing to post if we aren't happy—that’s total nonsense. If we followed that logic, 90% of the population would have left already because they aren't happy with how the government is running the country or whatever else. The whole point of a forum is for most people to be more or less satisfied and to ensure nobody gets special treatment, which, let’s be honest, hasn't always been the case here.🤷P.S. Regarding writing all those analyses, I honestly feel like I’m just talking to myself sometimes, because clearly nobody is reading them—at least that’s how it feels when I look at my post history and see nothing but my own stuff.🙂🤷

Ethan Jones5 said:I still don't get what the big deal is about writing an analysis.🤷

Here's a super basic example I just pulled out of thin air..

AC Milan vs. Fiorentina

Out of their last 7 head-to-head matchups, 6 went over. Both teams have minimal injuries and are in great scoring form right now..

That’s a totally simple example of a bet with an explanation. It takes maybe 20 seconds to write, but you can clearly see the logic behind it..

The reason you guys keep harassing the moderators isn't because writing two lines is too hard for you. It's because you want everything done your way...

As for the cliques, all I'll say is that these "clique members" have complained about the rules and warnings many times before...

Look, I have nothing against you complaining, but this is just a forum. You aren't forced to participate here, unlike how you're forced to live in this country. So either accept things as they are or go somewhere else—it won't cost you much more than moving to a new state would..

Don't get me wrong, I don't always agree with how the moderators handle things either, and I've even made suggestions myself since some of the issues weren't even that big of a deal..

If something really bothered me the way it bothers you, I'd just stop visiting the forum whenever my opinion wasn't being taken into account..

George Barnes25, thanks for reminding me, but I don't see any point in this "fight" of yours.🤷

In my book, that isn't even a decent analysis because it doesn't help much more than just listing a few picks; if you're gonna call it an analysis, it should be at least a few sentences, not just something superficial.

Quote:Bryan Adams6 says:
San Francisco Giants - Colorado Rockies
San Francisco over 3,5@1,75 SS
San Francisco over 4@1,92 Bet365

The Giants are definitely charging toward the playoffs, and tonight's opponent shouldn't be much of a hurdle for another win.
Chacin has been struggling against the Giants this season, giving up two runs twice—both in losses, 0-7 and 8-9, and that second one was just six days ago.
SF has only failed to clear 3.5 runs twice in 14 games this season; they love to hammer the Rockies regardless of who is on the mound, so why would tonight be any different?

Now *this* is an example of an analysis that might actually satisfy someone. When I write an analysis, I write it properly—even though I think the whole thing is stupid, a minority decided this is how it's gotta be, and around here, the minority is always right.
