I honestly don't know, I had just heard that private practices tend to utilize much slimmer, more compact devices, so I thought I'd ask... I'm certainly not trying to act like an expert here!😠
Does anyone happen to know of a reputable private clinic that performs high-quality gastroscopies? I’m specifically looking for a place that uses smaller-diameter scopes to make things more comfortable, and where the pricing is somewhat reasonable... My stomach is acting up again, which means I really need to get this done, as much as the mere thought of it makes me feel physically ill. 🙂 🙂
I find myself in the exact same boat as Jeffrey Edwards5; I tend to be in a bit of a funk for a while every morning, though eventually, I pull through. I honestly can't quite put my finger on why... 😢 Typically, I’ll grab a coffee at home, but even then, I don't really feel like I'm functioning properly until I actually get settled into the office. Some days, though, even that doesn't help, and I just feel like I'm moving through a fog all day long... I just feel exhausted so incredibly often! 😢 😢 😢
I haven't personally tried it, but my mother actually managed to drop about 33 pounds using acupuncture!😉 That's really all I can offer in terms of firsthand experience, so I apologize if that isn't much help...
Larry Cruz51 said:The guy from Santa Barbara is supposedly fine. My only hesitation about reaching out to him is that he’s technically self-taught. This doctor offers separate therapy sessions, and there’s an email address you can use to reach out and schedule an appointment. I just haven't figured out what the costs look like for either of them yet...
Dr Legac, $117 regarding a single session—it really depends on the individual, as even one might be enough for some people... 😉 And as for Rausch, he isn't exactly self-taught; he actually holds certifications from his training and is licensed to practice. It's just that his foundation isn't based on traditional medical schooling, but rather more toward alternative methods. He's certainly a proven professional...😉
Bravo, Matthew Morris28 👍 👍 👍 I honestly think we’re all caught in some kind of collective trance here on this forum, which is probably why we just can't seem to stay away...😍
I honestly feel that hypnosis is nothing more than a form of mental hygiene, and I wouldn't have any hesitation about undergoing therapy... The stuff you see in movies, where hypnotists manipulate people while they're in a trance, is complete nonsense; hypnosis is an entirely different thing altogether. In fact, even this forum acts as a sort of hypnotic space, which is probably why it feels so right for us... I would also love to try age regression, though I am still searching for the right place to go... There was once a woman practicing in Santa Barbara, but she never actually leaves her contact information available...😠
From what I can gather just by looking at the office, they seem to be doing solid work, and honestly, the prices don't look outrageously high. For instance, they have one of those intraoral cameras where they show you your teeth on a small monitor right in front of you—kind of like having a little TV screen. They use it to point out exactly which tooth is causing trouble and walk you through what kind of damage we're looking at. I’ll admit, seeing your own dental issues up close like that is pretty unsettling, to say the least, but you can tell just by the quality of their equipment that they really know their stuff... If my memory serves me right, he mentioned that fixing a single tooth would run somewhere in the neighborhood of $100 to $50. I’d say just give them a call and ask; you really don't have anything to lose by checking...
Bryan Wilson33 said:Is it really at the local community health center? 😲 There’s this one dentist there who has been ruining kids' teeth for generations...
Yes, it's at the community health center, but I'm not seeing that particular lady; my dentist is this incredibly talented guy and he's been wonderful...😉

My buddy had a toothache start up a few days ago. It was a Saturday, so he went to one of those clinics that stays open—you know, the one over on Potomac, right near Madison Square Garden. The dentist there opened up one of his teeth and applied some kind of medicated dressing... I find it strange because, in my experience, dentists I've seen usually just fix everything in one go without needing to apply medication like that... anyway, she told him to come back in a few days. In the meantime, he was still in pain, though he couldn't quite pinpoint which tooth it was. He went back to her today, they took some X-rays, and it turned out all three of his teeth were actually problematic 😲 and she ended up opening all three of them 😲 😲 😲
And now, to top it all off, he’s in pain again tonight. Honestly, I have to wonder what kind of amateur outfit he stumbled into... has anyone else dealt with that clinic before?
Also, please, if you know a truly reliable dentist, let me know. If he keeps going to these people, he’ll be looking at braces by next month...
It sounds like he probably needs a root canal. When they perform that procedure, it's standard practice to apply a sedative medication to kill the nerve and then put in a temporary filling. If the pain is unbearable before his next appointment, he could try carefully removing the temporary filling with a small needle and placing a bit of cotton in the tooth while he eats... believe me, it really does help. I remember once when my dentist was doing a root canal, I had to visit him every two days. Each time, he would reapply the medication and tell me that if the pain became too much to handle, I should just take the filling out myself and use cotton while eating. It wasn't until he finished the entire nerve extraction and placed the permanent filling that things settled down, so it’s actually quite common... 😉 As far as recommendations go, I'm not entirely sure since I go to a place in the suburbs covered by my insurance, but I do know one fantastic dentist over on Vicksburg where I had a zircon crown done. His name is Ivankovic, and his number is 615-6816. They offer discounts for students, and the guy runs a top-tier practice that isn't overly expensive. It might be worth giving him a call to ask! 😉
That was actually my sister’s situation, though it showed up in her urine sample. She isn't entirely sure where she picked it up—it could have been at a public restroom or somewhere similar... She took some antibiotics and managed to clear it, but then it flared right back up after a while, because this thing is incredibly stubborn and has a tendency to resurface... I also recall a friend of hers from work who was just getting ready to start trying for a baby, but her OB-GYN warned her that getting pregnant while dealing with an infection like this could be risky. I'm not quite sure why that is, though. I can ask my sister about it later tonight once she's off work, since she can't really talk while she's on the clock... That’s pretty much all I can remember for now...
Are you trying to say—girls, start drinking already! That’s exactly what my old man used to tell me; just keep pouring the red wine! The problem is, I can't stand the stuff... Side note: my dad isn't even an alcoholic!
It sounds like I’m dealing with the exact same struggle! My circulation is a total disaster lately; my hands and feet are perpetually freezing, especially since I spend most of my day sitting at my desk and smoking way too much... I keep searching for any little source of warmth just to get through the day. I honestly think it’s finally time for me to commit to some kind of regular physical activity, because I clearly remember a time when I was actually active, felt bursting with energy, and never had this constant chill. You truly feel like you're coming back to life when you move... L E T ' S D O T H I S !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😁
I am a firm believer in the power of a positive mindset, and I can say with absolute certainty that leaning into that optimism actually helped me overcome a significant health challenge...
