Gin issues. in Health ·
Thanks, coppergardener...

I’m heading back to see my doctor tomorrow. Honestly, it’s infuriating having to hunt for answers like this, especially since she acts like she couldn't care less whenever I actually show up with questions.
When I asked her if the boy should be on any kind of treatment, she just gave me this vague, non-committal, "well, he could..." response... and then, to top it all off, she completely forgot to write the prescription.
It feels absolutely terrible that I’m basically the one suggesting the therapy to her. I mean, she's supposed to be the doctor here, right?
In her eyes, the cure for every single ailment under the sun is just Gentamicin... give me a break.

The girl who was sharing a room with me had a drain, whereas I didn't. But she was dealing with endometriosis affecting her bowels, so maybe there’s a connection there? 😕

So, I finally made it to Petrov!

Honestly, I have nothing but praise for the doctors and the nursing staff. They’re incredibly professional and genuinely attentive... I really don't have a single complaint (well, except for a stitch that popped, but they did warn me to stay on strict bed rest because my skin is quite thin, and I might have overdone it just a little bit).

It’s true that they cover the exam, ultrasound, and Pap smear—I can't recall the exact cost—but honestly, it’s worth it. You just book whenever you feel like it without any waiting around, and they treat you like royalty. No drama, everyone is polite, and they actually take their time with you. I don't mind dropping a couple hundred bucks once a year for that kind of service.
Oh, and they have specialists on hand for breast exams too.

Zenskica was fine... but it felt like the whole appointment was incredibly rushed. One minute you're doing the history, the exam, and the Pap, and ten minutes later—boom—you're done.$100Since I was going to a private practice, I expected them to at least chat with me for a little longer... I don't know, I went twice and both times felt like they were just rushing through the motions. That said, the exam itself was comfortable; I didn't feel anything and there wasn't any bleeding after the Pap (so I guess that isn't an issue for everyone)...😲

I know I could have gone somewhere twice as cheap, but honestly, when it comes to health, I don't mind paying extra if I’m actually happy with the care. Besides, it's something I only pay for once a year.

Hold on... this doesn't include an ultrasound???😲

You can head out to the middle of nowhere if you really want to... it’s not like you're tethered to where you live, just like how you aren't stuck seeing one specific GP or dentist.🙂

So, you actually know if she’s going to be our first new patient yet, right?

Honestly, I think this movie holds its own against even the heavy hitters like Tarantino or Scorsese.👍

Would you call it "the devil's" or perhaps something more like "a warrior of the devil"?!
Thoughts on Stephen Gaghan's Syriana? in Movies ·
Honestly, this movie was an absolute train wreck... I was practically counting down the minutes until the credits rolled just so I could finally get out of the theater.
None of the three storylines actually land the punch they were aiming for, and frankly, I thought the subject matter was too important to mess up this badly...😠
Help! Do I have mono? in Health ·
One of the symptoms you really have to watch out for is an allergic reaction to the antibiotics...

For me, it was actually my capillaries bursting, which left me with about a dozen nasty bruises all over my legs... just a total nightmare...

They even had to perform a lymph node biopsy on me. Honestly, I spent about two weeks feeling absolutely, bone-deep exhausted and drowsy—even though I didn't have a fever—so I basically just drifted through most of the illness like a zombie.😲
