Best concealer for dark circles? in Health ·
Sandra Taylor48 said:nimblepanther23, thanks! 😍
1. I'll grab some
2. Give it a shot
3. I'll let you know how it goes!

I saw instant results on my end. Hopefully you do too—if they don't show up right away, just stick with it.

Sandra Taylor48 said:Like I’d even know which cream you're talking about...

It's Avon solutions, the advanced eye perfector with peptides. Everything—the cream and the box—is mostly orange. It targets all kinds of dark circles, puffiness, whatever color they are...

Not in my case. My whole family walks around in T-shirts all winter, sleeps under just one blanket at night, and their hands and feet stay warm. Me? I’m buried under three blankets, plus an extra layer, and I still need a massive down pillow shoved on my legs just to function.

I've been dealing with dark circles under my eyes for years now, though honestly, I've just reached the point where I don't even care anymore. I used to use this little cream from Avon—it was part of that small orange collection, can't remember the exact name—and they completely vanished. I seriously couldn't believe it.
But of course, I couldn't be bothered to stay consistent with it, so they're right back where they started.
Tips for better digestion... in Health ·
Gotta give this a shot..
A cousin told me just the other day he cleared up his gastritis and high blood pressure using this exact method, so there's definitely something to it.
Natreen vs. brown sugar vs. honey in Health ·
Raymond Gray2 said:Honey is hands down the best sweetener!

I used to worry about it losing its benefits if you stirred it into hot drinks... But who cares? Does it matter? It’s still miles better than any sugar out there (white and brown are both garbage—at least that's what I hear), and honey actually counts as a healthy option! You just have to pick the right kind, since most of them mess with the flavor of your drink...🙂

I'm with you!
And for anyone freaking out about honey causing weight gain? Total lie. I've been eating massive amounts of it for 20 years, sweetening everything with it, and I'm still stuck at 110 pounds.
Go for local stuff from a farmers market. Most of the stuff in the grocery stores has had all the good, healthy nutrients stripped right out of it.
Post-shave irritation issues in Health ·
I’m constantly slathering on Coppertone gel after I've been out in the sun—and no, I'm not kidding! It's that clear stuff with the blue and yellow dots.
I use it on basically everything, especially right after shaving; it keeps my skin perfectly smooth without any bumps in the morning.
It's mostly just aloe vera, chamomile, and vitamins A and E.
Abdominal muscle twitching/spasms in Health ·
Jerry Phillips2 said:That’s not it. It would take years for your calcium levels to drop like that.
I don't know how old you are, but if you're still growing, this is totally normal. Just bump up your protein intake and hit the gym harder—doesn't have to be sit-ups—and it'll pass.

I'm 23.
I work out a lot, just not sit-ups (still can't do them because of a surgery I had a few years back).
Thanks for the reply.
Abdominal muscle twitching/spasms in Health ·
For the last few nights, my abdominal muscles have been spasming right before I hit the sack.
It’s incredibly annoying—it feels like there's this intense throbbing deep in the muscle that just won't quit. You can actually see my stomach tightening and relaxing under the skin.

Just to be clear, I don't do any ab workouts or anything like that.
Could this be a calcium deficiency? I cut out all milk and dairy about a month ago because of lactose intolerance... could that be what's triggering these cramps?
Breast tenderness before my period in Health ·
Karen Brooks said:I love bananas and I eat almost every single day one at a time, but despite that, I still deal with chest pains from ovulation all the way until my period starts, plus I get clots.

One day I actually forgot to eat my banana and everything went right back to normal—clots and all. Even the chest pain didn't really ease up like it does when I eat them regularly, and I mean literally every day.

It might sound stupid or unbelievable, but it’s the only thing that works for me, so I stick to it religiously.

My takeaway? You just have to find "your" fruit, and the breast pain and clots will vanish!

urbansailor68 said:So what’s the deal with the banana? Does it actually have to be a banana, or can we use something else? 🤷 😁

Maybe it's some joke about potassium and water retention.

Only bananas work for me. I've tried every other fruit out there and nothing hits the same way.
Is it the potassium? Magnesium? Vitamin B? Who knows.
Once I realized only bananas did the trick, I stopped playing chemist. It's too painful to keep experimenting.
Breast tenderness before my period in Health ·
Megan Garcia45 said:My breasts get huge and super sore right before my period starts.
It lasts maybe two days during my cycle and then stops.
My period is six days long, so that goes until September 21st.
Then by October 2nd, they're already swollen and hurting again.

I went through the exact same thing. Bananas were my lifesaver. About two weeks before my period hits, I eat half a banana every single day—not a whole one because it's too heavy on my stomach—and the soreness just disappears. It used to be unbearable.
Actually, I didn't try the banana trick for the sensitivity, but it totally stopped the heavy clotting I was getting during my period.

Kate Edwards51 said:Just another natural remedy—my OBGYN actually told me to soak a mini tampon in plain yogurt, like Chobani Greek yogurt, and leave it in for 2-3 hours...
It works for me. I had a yeast infection once and even the over-the-counter stuff from CVS didn't touch it, but this yogurt trick 😛
stopped the itching and redness instantly. I've passed the tip along to all my girlfriends and nobody has been disappointed yet.
Give it a shot; it's cheap and it actually works.🙏

I tried that and it did absolutely nothing for me. Only chamomile tea and St. John's Wort worked.
Visible veins on my hands/arms in Health ·
restlesspanther1 said:And another one for the road.
They're popping out on my back and the tops of my feet, obviously. 😬
The only real issue is that one particular vein is bulging way more than the rest, and man, does it sting. 😳

Same here. They flare up more often during the summer when it gets insanely hot.
Thinking about getting a tattoo? in Health ·
Every single year, I deal with some random new allergy or skin rash, and of course, it always pops up right where I was planning on getting tattooed.
I finally found a tiny spot on my arm that isn't acting up, so I’m probably going for it this year—let's just hope nothing breaks out right over the ink!
Feeling Suffocated in Health ·
Angela Wright said:That feeling of suffocation? Try stretching your arms out—if they’re shaking, that's a symptom right there. You get insomnia, leg cramps, sudden weight shifts, racing heart, getting tired instantly, constant exhaustion... it's all there. Your thyroid can flare up during stressful times, like drinking too much or relationship drama. Talk to your doctor about it.

Yeah, my hands are shaking, I can't sleep, and for the last few days, my right leg has been cramping like crazy—never happened before.
On top of all that, I have hyperhidrosis, which I also read is linked to the thyroid.
Thanks so much, I never would've connected this to my thyroid, but I just looked it up on Google and you're totally right.
Thanks again.

Recognizing any symptoms yet?
Feeling Suffocated in Health ·
Sorry if this has been covered already, but I need some input on this:

I deal with quite a few allergies—sunlight, dust, you name it—and they usually just show up as spots or hives on my skin.
I've never had an allergy cause breathing issues before, but lately, things have taken a turn.
I start feeling like I can't breathe when the weather shifts, like right before a storm, or when I'm in dusty rooms, near certain trees, or even just stressed out—mostly during finals week.
My blood work came back totally normal. My doctor thinks it's just a passing allergy and told me to wait it out, but honestly, I feel like I'm getting worse every day.
I've also noticed this happens way more often when I haven't eaten. Could this be related to low blood sugar or something similar? I'm no expert, but yesterday, I was dealing with dust, pollen, and hunger all at once, and the choking sensation actually stopped after I ate something.
Anyone have any ideas on what this could be? I’m planning on switching doctors because this feels like much more than just a minor allergy.
How often should I be washing my hair? in Health ·
I don't buy the idea that washing your hair daily makes it greasy. I wash mine every single day and it doesn't get overly oily at all.
Honestly, whenever I tried those shampoos specifically for oily hair, it just made things worse. Now I stick to regular shampoo and everything is fine.
Oziljak in Health ·
Is there any way to actually fade an old scar? I'm talking about one that's been sitting there for 2 or 3 years now. Is there any cream out there that actually works on something that old?
