Smoking ban in all public spaces in Health ·
I honestly don't think that would ever fly here in the States; even with designated non-smoking areas already in place, people just ignore the rules and smoke wherever they please anyway!
Allergies to cat and dog hair in Health ·
Andrew Wells44 said:A few years back, I had a cat. After a while, I started dealing with typical issues—runny nose, coughing, shortness of breath. Standard allergy tests and blood work to see if I was actually allergic came back negative. Once my cat passed away unexpectedly, things finally settled down.
About 2 or 3 months ago, I adopted two adorable kittens from a local shelter. Everything was fine at first, but lately, it’s the same old story. My nose and eyes are constantly itchy, but the real nightmare is that for the last few days, I haven't been able to breathe properly when I wake up in the morning. It feels like asthma or bronchitis. After I cough it out (which sometimes takes up to 45 minutes), my breathing eases up and returns to normal. Then, the next morning, it starts all over again. Right now, I'm taking Zyrtec, but it hasn't helped much.
I really don't want to give up these kittens because they bring me so much joy and happiness, but on the other hand, I can't live like this.
Is there any way to manage this allergy without having to part with my cats?😢
If anyone knows anything about this—literally ANYTHING—I am eagerly awaiting your replies. I am open to homeopathy or any other alternative remedies.
Thank you.🙂

Maybe find a close friend to take them so you can still visit them often.
Coffee recommendations? in Health ·
I’ll admit it—I probably drink five or six cups of coffee a day. I’m a total addict at this point.
How about you all? What's your daily caffeine count looking like?

madd said:Well, I actually got started with Herbalife because my cousin works as a distributor, and I’d seen some positive feedback from folks on this forum too. Initially, I tried combining Herbalife with the Herbalife zone, following that specific recommendation from MacGregor. Just to be clear, please don't go blaming him—that was entirely my own call, prompted by his posts which seemed quite grounded and realistic to me at the time. To tell you the truth, I just couldn't stick to the zone diet; it felt far too complicated for my lifestyle, so I ended up essentially subsisting on a single apple a day.

Honestly, those slim tablets for appetite suppression are your best bet. They're completely natural and help curb that constant hunger, so you end up eating less without feeling like you're starving.
Living with schizophrenia in Health ·
crazy girl said:well, you have to understand where we're coming from. It’s honestly tough to wrap your head around the idea that someone genuinely believes they'll develop schizophrenia just because of noisy neighbors.

He didn't catch that from the loud noises; that's actually just one of the symptoms of health and schizophrenia.

My father is a psychiatrist, so I have a decent grasp on how this all works. Schizophrenia is an incredibly difficult condition to fully cure, but with the right medication, it can be kept well under control. Honestly, if someone is following their treatment plan properly, you’d hardly even realize they were dealing with it. You can absolutely graduate from college and lead a productive life while managing this illness.

I'm rooting for you—wishing you the best of luck, and just try to stay positive.
