Basically, how do I know if I need a 400W unit or a 700W one? Not just for this setup, either—how do you calculate requirements for any random configuration?
You didn't mention a graphics card... but honestly, either of these would handle your build without breaking a sweat: or maybe this one: Just a bit of advice—never buy those cheap, off-brand power supplies. It’s much better to spend a little extra on something reliable and high-quality rather than buying some junk that doesn't even provide the voltage it claims to. If you go with one of those two options, you'll actually have plenty of headroom left over...

I'm with you there—it looks like all those drivers have gotten completely tangled up. A fresh install should clear everything right up and solve the headache. 🙂
MALI-miki Asks: It looks like you might have sent an incomplete message or just a placeholder—did you mean to share something specific? I'm here whenever you're ready to dive in.
I don't even know why I bother. Just another day of this nonsense. says: Can someone just tell me which of these Quote Wraps actually works?
I haven't the slightest clue.
Don't even go there.
I'm trying, too.
I don't even know why I bother. Just one more thing to deal with. says: Just working out.
Still practicing.
That should do it.
Honestly, I’m just sitting here wondering how this whole mess is gonna blow up in my face. 🙂
ruggedcobra8 said:It’s just not working—plain and simple. I’ve tried everything, and honestly? It’s a total dead end.
I’m approaching it this way—and I’ll try to be as thorough as possible—so bear with me! From the very beginning!...): If I hit "Quote" on a post—you know, that little button that brings up the quoted text—I can just highlight the specific section I want to reply to... and then what? Is there a trick to making sure only my chosen snippet shows up? PHP Code:
[ICODE][COLOR=#000000] [COLOR=#0000BB]To lie—well, that’s a slippery slope, isn't it? It’s one of those things that seems simple enough on the surface, but once you start pulling at the threads, the whole thing just unravels. You think you're just smoothing over a little wrinkle here or there—maybe avoiding an awkward conversation or keeping the peace—but before you know it, you've built this entire house of cards that you have to spend every waking moment defending! It’s exhausting, honestly. There’s a certain weight to it—a mental tax, if you will—that you pay every time you aren't being straight with someone. I've always felt that even a "white lie" carries its own kind of baggage. You might think you're doing someone a favor, but really, you're just robbing them of the truth, which is the foundation of any real connection. Whether it's in business or just hanging out with friends, integrity is everything. Once that trust is breached, it is so incredibly difficult to stitch back together![/COLOR][COLOR=#007700]; [/COLOR][COLOR=#0000BB]I click on the icon—[/COLOR][COLOR=#007700]([/COLOR][COLOR=#0000BB]It’s just like one of those little speech bubbles you see in a comic strip![/COLOR][COLOR=#007700]...); [[/COLOR][COLOR=#0000BB]U[/COLOR][COLOR=#007700]][/COLOR][COLOR=#0000BB]The selected portion of text will be wrapped in q tags.[/COLOR][COLOR=#007700][/[/COLOR][COLOR=#0000BB]U[/COLOR][COLOR=#007700]] [/COLOR][/COLOR][/ICODE]
"At the very beginning and at the very end."I’ll probably tack a little comment right after that quote at the end—and then I'll go ahead and highlight that second section again! I might throw in another icon, too... followed by one more quick remark tucked behind the quote. Just keeping things lively!
I’ve been running into this same headache lately—why does everything at the bottom of my post end up swallowed by one giant "mega-quote"? It’s like my little nested quotes and my actual commentary are all getting sucked into a black hole of formatting! It's driving me a bit crazy trying to keep things tidy. It actually makes sense—especially since my own comments are tucked right inside that "main" quote block... don't you think? It looks like you might have cut off there! I was just getting ready to dive into this—did you have a specific thought or question in mind? I'm all ears and ready to jump in whenever you're set!
I’ve got to be honest—either I'm totally misreading the situation here, or I am completely missing a key piece of the puzzle!
To pull it off—to actually make it happen without anyone even suspecting a thing—is where the real magic lies!
So... what now?🤷 Everyone keeps telling me the same thing—just highlight the text, hit the icon, and leave a comment... So, that’s exactly what I’ve been doing! But, well... just look at what I'm actually getting out of it... Something isn't quite clicking here—I feel like I'm missing something obvious! Would any of you patient souls mind taking a look at what I've written? I'm trying to figure out exactly where my logic is tripping up...:m
Some people swear by CCleaner, while others prefer something else entirely—but honestly, the world would be pretty boring if we all wanted the exact same thing, wouldn't it? 😲
Don't trust those sketchy websites—they've clearly got some kind of bug going on. I'm running a 6950 2GB card myself, yet for some reason, it's telling me I only have 748MB available. So, seriously, don't go believing any of that nonsense...
Jonathan Sanchez2 said:Thank God, once I add some $17, will I finally be able to run CoD4 smoothly? Right now, I'm stuck at 1024x768 with a locked 125fps, you know?
It should work—I've seen people on other forums mentioning that the 4350 is basically about as powerful as integrated graphics anyway, right?
Jonathan Sanchez2 said:I gave the guy a call—turns out he already sold the graphics card. 🙂 So, this guy just messaged me out of the blue—about 15 minutes after we first spoke—asking if I’d be down to swap my VTX ATI Radeon HD 4350 for his Nvidia 8800 gt. Should I actually go for it? Is there even any real value in that trade? He’s claiming he can run every single game at Full HD without breaking a sweat, even the newer stuff... honestly, does anyone actually believe that? 🙄
I’ve been doing some reading on those cards lately—it seems like everyone is saying the Nvidia 8800 gt is way ahead of the Radeon HD 4350. Honestly, if I were in your shoes, I'd just grab the Nvidia one... you won't regret it. 🙂 P.S. Do I need to chip in some extra cash for that, or is it just a straight swap?
Whatever happened to being resourceful? Just be upfront—tell them you need it for college. Between online lectures, endless research, and all the files you have to download, you just need reliable access to the information required to actually pass your classes.
boldridge51—you're making this way more complicated than it needs to be. Honestly, when you first boot up your PC, just check the traffic and move on. I don't see why your parents would have any issue with it if you just go with a flat-rate unlimited plan? You might see your bill go up by maybe 20-$10, but is that really such a huge deal? If you stick to metered data, you'll be constantly stressing over every single MB, trying to budget how much you can afford to use today versus tomorrow. You won't even be able to download one decent game without worrying about the cost 😁. But hey, if you really want to obsess over every byte you use, then just download that program that Carl Perez55 mentioned.
Ditch CCleaner and just delete CCleaner right now 😁. I’d honestly suggest using Advanced SystemCare instead here's the link It’s a great, snappy program—way faster than CCleaner and, honestly, it works 100x better for me There is one tiny little catch, though—you won't be able to access all the cleaning and optimization features unless you upgrade to the Pro version, but I’m sure you’ll manage 😉 P.S. It even has a malware detection feature, but I usually just toggle that off since I already run Avast, but hey, whatever works for you...
I actually posted about this exact issue before—I laid out the whole problem—but I never got a single response. So, I’m asking the admins once more: please don't move this thread. I'd really appreciate it if you could just let it stay where it is. 🙂
Hey everyone—I feel like I’ve posted here a hundred times already, but hopefully this is the last one. 😁 So, here’s the deal: I’m dealing with some pretty stubborn dandruff. I’ve tried basically everything you can find at a CVS or Walgreens—everything from Head & Shoulders to Garnier, even Sebamed—but nothing seems to touch it. A guy actually suggested I try ionic silver—specifically that Bionect Silverspray mentioned in the title. My issue isn't really my hair itself, but more my scalp; it feels like there's some kind of fungal thing going on. I read online that since this spray is antibacterial, it might help clear up whatever is causing the flakes. It’s definitely not cheap for just a 50ml bottle $50 which is 😢... well, yeah. Anyway, I just applied it—sprayed it on and rubbed it into my scalp—but I have a nagging feeling I just threw my money down the drain. Has anyone else here actually used this spray on their scalp? Also, a quick request to the mods: please don't move this thread. No one has replied to the other dandruff discussion in months, so I'd really appreciate it if we could keep it here. Thanks in advance!
To’s the truth—whenever I try to activate Office through a third-party program, my Avast starts screaming at me 😁 but honestly? It’s always just a false alarm...
It looks like you probably just clicked the first window—that option basically means you're keeping all your old Windows files intact,
whereas the second window is for a clean install, where you actually get the chance to format the drive... You should really take a closer look at the link 🙂 that > posted. You definitely don't want to mess this up.
