You should really look into falconry... it’s been a total game-changer for me.

Any tips?, because once you've put in the work to train them and build that bond—it's incredible—the birds won't even let anyone get close to the 9.3 miles 👍

I'll take this chance to vent a little about a ban I just received—all because of some trolling.

Just imagine for a second that you’re living in the 1980s, standing at the helm of an organization with the absolute authority to decide which political rivals need to be permanently removed from the board.

Looking at today's political landscape, who would be on your list?

Let's put together a forum "hit list."

The former President, the Secretary of State... and definitely pop stars like Taylor Swift.

My intention wasn't to troll; I was trying to start a serious conversation about dealing with traitors and enemies of the state.

And we shouldn't limit it to just domestic politicians—there are plenty of others out there, like high-ranking military officials or historical figures from various eras.😁

Ultimately, if the topic is meant to be political satire, where does it belong? History? Military history? Speculative fiction?

The left wing of the moderation team seems to be defending certain figures by claiming that extrajudicial killings—all in the name of building a better nation—are somehow justifiable.

If that’s the case, why was my thread about how we can actually improve this country shut down so quickly?

Whoever ends up behind the wheel at McLaren next year is going to have an absolutely incredible soundtrack to work with 🎉

Thank goodness—I’ve honestly had enough of listening to those damn lawnmowers 😁

That was a killer quote from the Autosport forums, though.

Quote : The World fastest human a*shole

Obviously, we're talking about Alonso. And of course, there are no penalties, no bans, no investigations... it's as if they've never heard of democratic results over there. 👏

P.S. It’s probably better if we just call it quits, Rainier—I really have no desire to head back into the fray, not even for Fernando Alonso, and certainly not for A. g. Hemoša. 😬

My apologies to anyone whose feelings I might have inadvertently hurt—my only intention was to get under Rainier's skin. 🙂 🙂

Calling him an amoral jerk in this context isn't actually an insult—it’s more like... a term of endearment. 👍

That immoral jerk wins again for McLaren 🎉

😁

James Roberts87 said:Not really—given that he’s exactly what Honda is looking for. With everything going on with Ron Dennis, we'll just have to wait and see how it plays out. Honestly, most of this drama surrounding the selection feels like nothing more than "fake news" meant to keep the fans entertained...

Honda needs someone to basically babysit their new engine during that first season. It’s no surprise they’d want Fernando Alonso.

I suspect Dennis will only agree if the terms of the move are absolutely humiliating for Fernando. I don't know the specifics, but I wouldn't be surprised if the contract technically reads: "Fernando Alonso agrees to be Ron Dennis's errand boy for one year."

So, kid—are you going to be forced to pull for Lojz? 🤣 🤣

No. There’s always a second driver on the grid. Besides, if Lojz actually shows up and becomes a contender... then sure, I'll back him. Even if he is—character-wise speaking—a total elitist jerk.

James Roberts87 said:But those Japanese sponsors aren't going to back Magnussen or Button😁

The sponsors won't go for Lewis Hamilton either.—it's just how the money flows.

steelmaker83 said:Dennis isn't exactly the alpha or the omega at McLaren anymore—certainly not both...

On the flip side, the idea of Lewis Hamilton joining McLaren sounds pretty intriguing to me. ruggedhawk20 thinks Dennis is prepping a massive volley for Lewis, but my gut tells me Ron is just scrolling through his contacts looking for Brawn’s number to ask for advice on a new fishing rod...

We'll see how it plays out...

Dennis actually founded the entire McLaren group and serves as its chairman. He holds a 25% stake, and between him and Ojjeh, they control 50% plus one extra share. The rest is owned by the King of Bahrain, Hamad bin Isa ali Khalifa. That said, Dennis is currently in the middle of buying back 25% from the King and another 12.5% from Ojjeh. 😬

So, there isn't even a theoretical chance of anyone ousting Dennis.

Which effectively means Lewis has nothing to gain at McLaren—not even a little bit. 😒

steelmaker83 said:you seem stuck in the past yourself...

Which part is actually giving you trouble?

Is it the premise or the conclusion?

Premise: Dennis alfa and Omega at McLaren
Premise: Lewis Hamilton at McLaren
------------------------------------------------
Conclusion: Hell has frozen over.

Or is this whole thing with Lojz and Ferrari just eating away at you?

What kind of fantasies are we all having here?

Someone actually thinks they could replace Dennis? He *is* McLaren—how does one even begin to replace someone like that?

Lewis Hamilton at McLaren... yeah, right. I'll believe it when hell freezes over.

Lujo joining Ferrari... now that's a stretch.

By the way—if Lewis Hamilton and Frank ever split up, who gets custody of the kid?

Where on earth did you get that idea from? 🤣

In the rally 🤣

👍

I cleared the cache and now it's working... though I honestly can't remember my Reddit username or password now, haha.

Honestly, Reddit still feels like the gold standard to me...

The forum layout feels completely overhauled... though when I check things via Reddit, everything looks just fine. Did you guys actually sync the two?

This new formula feels a bit tedious—it’s got this irritating drone to it... honestly, I'm just not feeling it lately—stay happy, everyone.

Does anyone know when the race actually starts? Also—does anyone have a streaming link? It feels like it’s about time I finally sat down to catch a race myself 🤣
