Has anyone ever actually heard of the Combuch mushroom? Any real-world experiences out there?
Ricky said:Back when I was just a kid, watching this movie felt like experiencing something truly phenomenal. But I just sat through it again—really, I almost drifted off halfway through. I can't decide if I've just gotten old, if my tastes have shifted entirely, or if the film was simply "good" back then because it was one of a kind. Honestly? Right now, those Gremlins strike me as almost comical. It’s just a movie—I've seen plenty of them dozens of times—but calling this a masterpiece? Definitely not. And as for NBC, I'm convinced they only picked this up because they're cutting costs; they're just dredging up old classics because it's cheap, which, in my opinion, is 🙂 🙂 🙂 .
That's exactly why I don't revisit movies from my childhood—it's a recipe for disappointment. They work best when left as perfect, untouchable memories. Every era has its own vibe, and you can't force them to stay relevant.
Kris Kristofferson is alright, I guess, but when he’s paired with Barbara, she just ends up looking ridiculous—I mean, let’s be real, he’s playing in an entirely different league than her. It actually makes me wonder how she’d sound alongside Elvis Presley... maybe she’d be a total mismatch (though I highly doubt it). Sadly, I suppose I'll never get to find out. 😢
I just sat down and watched it all over again—honestly, it’s the whole reason I decided to stay in tonight😳
And man, it absolutely blew me away once more👍
What’s your take on it?
Oh, and here’s a little fun fact for you—that iconic rocker role was actually offered to Elvis Presley first!
Oh, please—keep that energy! Honestly, I found it incredibly attractive when one girl I knew used to talk like that. 😎
I need to track down about 10 ounces of fresh aloe vera leaves—specifically from a plant that’s at least a year old—to prep a medicinal remedy. Does anyone have a lead on where I can actually source this?
It's urgent...
