It's only true for black metalheads. But then again—I guess you can't really call yourself a black metalhead if you aren't black. You just shouldn't listen to Cradle of Filth, for one. It doesn't sit right with me.

So, say someone pops up whose music totally blows you away—but they’re openly pushing Nazi ideology, violence against women, or whatever else—would you actually keep listening? And I guess, how did you guys handle that kind of thing back when you were teenagers?

Yeah, I thought the exact same thing back when I was a teenager—I mean, I'm not exactly planning on hanging out with him, so why would it even matter?

Regarding Chomsky and linguistics—honestly, I find his theory pretty repulsive and overblown. I’m no linguist or anything, though my folks dabble in that kind of stuff every now and then. 😬
