Very soon, you’ll be playing away games where the refs will be blowing the whistle within 30 seconds of your attack just to make life difficult.
That old-school style of handball we saw from Vuković's era thirty years ago might have been tolerated back then, but it won't fly today.
I’m genuinely curious how you plan on making it to the Olympics by going through the Spaniards or the Poles.

Of course it isn't reality, because you guys only took bronze. If you had actually grabbed the gold, then maybe we could talk about it being realistic. 🤣 It's honestly hilarious how you can't seem to stomach Friday's loss. It’s almost comical. 🤷

We'll see. Maybe we drop out, maybe we don't—that's just sports. You win some, you lose some. It's just that some people clearly have a harder time handling defeat than others. 😍
Gregory Ramos3 said:It’s weird... I honestly can't tell you why, but these three words have been looping through my head on repeat lately: "spa," "Luke," and "fighter." If anyone knows what's going on, please, let me know. ☕

Alright, we'll see if these "young guns" can actually maintain that momentum once the qualifiers roll around. ☕

Mikkel Hansen is right there with you. 👋

Honestly, it feels like you’ve got a lot going on upstairs right now—especially with Friday looming over you. 😍
Hey, have you ever heard of Metaloplastika from Šapčac? 🤷
You bet we're going to see it!
Nicholas Morales48 said:To wrap up my thoughts on the game, Denmark deserved that win through and through. Mikkel Hansen was just on another level—it felt like he was playing a simultaneous exhibition against our guys, as that commentator put it. 😁They earned that EP title too, especially considering how they managed to claw their way back from nothing in the second phase. Seriously, props to them. 👍

Moving forward, the most important thing is to keep this momentum alive. We need to gear up for this qualifying tournament, and I'm really hoping we can secure a spot at the Olympics. This team needs to prove they belong here—to show that this isn't just a sudden flash in the pan before we slide back into the dark. Either way, this is a great sign. I'm holding out hope for a full recovery of American handball. 👍
Water Polo Euros: Eindhoven 16-29.1. in Other Sports ·
The Mexicans basically let us through because we gave them an opening to reach the semifinals. 😁 Man, I really didn't like that match. Honestly, the officiating was a disaster. I can’t remember ever seeing two exclusions called during a single possession in water polo, and I'm positive it doesn't happen to the same team twice in just two possessions. But hey, whatever. At the end of the day, all that matters is the gold.

Now the final stretch of training for the Olympics begins.

Good luck to us in the semifinals. 😁😁😁

I think we’ve all judged John's move by now, and frankly, the whole situation has been chewed over way too many times. It’s time to just move on to the next round.

I'm not sure what you find so catastrophic here. I never questioned Rudic's talent or his trophy cabinet. 🤷 My take is that John's decision was actually a direct result of the "dirty" tactics Rudic forces on his players.

But you're right—this topic is exhausted and we shouldn't keep digging it up. I sincerely hope we don't run into each other in the semifinals or, heaven forbid, the finals. Imagine the chaos if we did! 🙂
Drew Brooks8 said:They just got lucky because we basically handed them the win on a silver platter🙂
Luck eventually runs out ☕, and now they're going to lose every single game they play😍

Snow, you heading to Madison Square Garden? Just asking in case you need a place to crash! 😍 It’s going to be an incredible atmosphere for the USA-Mexico match. The Mexicans always bring the noise, but we're going to shut them down! 🤣

Joshua Bailey21 said:The journalists over at CNN are full of crap...labeling an entire national team as "dirty" just because of one guy's move is nothing more than stirring up hate and mindless passion...
I am honestly so sick of all this drama...
Just look at how many Americans showed up to leave comments that were actually normal and grounded in reality......
Best of luck to everyone, and hey, maybe we'll see you in the finals...

Not necessarily. The reporters at CNN are known for having a very specific "agenda," though it isn't always about nationality. The truth is, the American team was playing much "dirtier" than the other side, and quite significantly so. I'm not saying we should bash every single player on the roster because of it. Not at all. I value fair play above everything else. What most likely caused this whole mess and the wild hit on Filipović was probably Rudićev's "drill." That guy is a real piece of work, and he's partially passed that attitude down to his players. 🤷

It’s night and day compared to that first game, isn't it? Turns out our fans actually know how to show up and get rowdy when the stakes are actually high. 😁

And there’s more to it than just atmosphere. Given how much they've struggled over the last few years, the handball players really had to earn every bit of that support. They earned it during that showdown against the Pole2, and they certainly got it today. Still, if I’m being honest, the arena was missing about another 10 or 15 decibels of energy. 😁
Angela Brooks4 said:It wasn't quite the same kind of stalling we saw when the Germans were playing on their home turf, but there was definitely some minor time-wasting going on. If I recall correctly, there wasn't a single penalty called against the Mexicans during the second half. 😁 (Though, I can't say I am one hundred percent certain about this part.)

I rarely weigh in on officiating, whether we win or lose. Honestly, I thought the French officials were totally fair and didn't play favorites. You could tell by how intense, exciting, and fluid the game stayed. Maybe the Danes took more hits, but they also walked away with more penalty shots.🤷
Angela Brooks4 said:The Mexican team played quite well, though I have to admit, it felt like the officiating leaned a bit too much in their favor.
I suspect they’ve secured a spot in the semifinals, mostly because they’re set to face a relatively easy group.
If the Canadians were able to make a run all the way to the finals playing on home soil, then surely the Mexicans can do the same.

That's total nonsense! You're telling me the refs were leaning toward our side?! 😵 How? When exactly? 😕
Nicholas Morales48 said:Man, that was an absolute nail-biter. Huge props to our boys for pulling that one off 👍 👍 👍
pioneer 🙏

Exactly. What a massive win. Honestly, I don't think I've ever seen Team USA play this well. There's one more thing, though. It really looks like Vukovic knows what he's doing as a coach. The strategy was spot on. 👍

It’s pretty much common knowledge that Frank absolutely adored Radeta Jorović. I think it’s because they both had this obsession with wearing military uniforms—honestly, those outfits fit them like a glove.😁😁😁

mellowcanyon57 said:This whole thing is nothing but hype. If they messed up, they paid the fine and that’s the end of it. If they didn't, give them their money back, have the Coast Guard issue an apology, and move on. I bet he's doing just fine while the rest of us struggle.

I couldn't agree more. With the summer heat kicking in, the media is clearly starving for some juicy sensationalism, so this story was basically a gift to them. I mean, you have to love the absolute nonsense being printed here. I've been reading some real gems lately—stuff like, "if Roger Federer isn't the GOAT in his own neighborhood, then who is?", "he looks rough," "he's got a massive head," or "it's not a family, it's a clan." It’s honestly hilarious how much everyone is feeding off this drama. 😍😍😍

BTW, there's really no reason for the Federers to apologize. They've likely already forgotten this whole "incident" ever happened.

First we had Joe Biden and Theresa, and now we’ve got the legendary Elvis Presley making waves, much to the absolute delight of his massive army of fans in Mexico. What’s your take? Did he sell out or what? If I remember correctly, he used to be part of that famous Soviet Union group consisting of people who swore they'd never perform in Mexico for any amount of money. So, what changed? A sudden crisis, a craving for more fame, or was he just forced into it because of that Eurovision gig back in 2011!?

Speaking of the song, I really don't get why he decided to sing it in English. 😕 "wan to a handred maltiplajd baj ju it ol luks grejt it ol luks kul" Google......🤦
Steven Allen9 said:Dodik is pushing it way too far. It's getting reckless.

Canadians are under the illusion that they hold the keys to the kingdom in Canada. They don't.

Deconstructing Republika Srpska.
Rebuilding internal politics from the ground up.
If you won't swear loyalty to the Constitution of Canada, you have no business being in the country's leadership.
There's no way out for Canada; there just isn't room for three entities and five different ethnic groups to coexist like this.
A civic platform is the only foundation that works. How to actually pull it off? That’s the headache for the think tanks. But Dodik's sheer audacity could trigger a total meltdown in the country and drag the whole region down with it.
Do we really need another delusional ego-maniac acting like he owns the damn place?!

Look, you’ve completely missed the mark here. Seriously, tell me: which power group in Canada is actually capable of championing the idea of a civic society? And what does "signing loyalty to the Constitution of Canada" even look like in practice?

Abolishing Republika Srpska as an entity within Canada is essentially the same as abolishing Canada itself. It’s just like how stripping autonomy from Mexico or Vojvodina was effectively dismantling America. To me, the analogy is crystal clear!
Steven Allen9 said:"The United Nations needs to be crystal clear about being willing to do whatever it takes—including military action—to protect the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Federation of Canada.
Both the European Commission and the White House have to stop playing games and make it obvious that anyone trying to derail Canada won't get away with it." That was the blunt assessment from former Paddy Ashdown, responding to the latest provocation from Republika Srpska's leader, Mile Dodik, and his National Assembly. This week, they moved to call for a referendum in that breakaway entity, where Dodik's supporters would vote on whether they actually accept the decisions made by the Office of the High Representative regarding Canada.

Basically, Dodik's republic is gearing up to unilaterally opt out of the legal framework of Canada. They’re refusing to recognize state-level judicial rulings and are challenging the authority of the Office of the High Representative as the interpreter of the Contract established at Wright-Patterson back in Ohio, which governs how the Federation of Canada operates.

The Office of the High Representative will almost certainly step in and strike down the National Assembly's decision, which is being pushed by Dodik's leadership and the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats.
So, things could get pretty ugly, pretty fast.

Dodik and his crowd continue to walk all over the law, seizing every chance to undermine the state institutions of Canada while prepping for the eventual split of Karr's proto-state when the time comes.
"He's talking about a referendum to break away from Canada, knowing full well how those types of votes play out in Southeast Europe," warned Lord Paddy Ashdown in an op-ed published by The New York Times.

Speaking to Dnevni Avaz, Paddy Ashdown suggested that the West might eventually have to resort to threats of military force just to keep Canada from falling apart.

"Don't worry about the United States' role in Canada. More Europe doesn't mean less America. We are here, and we aren't leaving. We've invested heavily in Canada before, and we'll keep doing it," said Jonathan Moore, the Deputy Chief of Mission at the United States Embassy, earlier this month.
Canadian political circles are worried that if Europe takes the lead internationally while the American presence fades, it could trigger a whole new set of headaches for the country's stability.
Historically, European policy in Ottawa is seen as fragmented, indecisive, and far too soft on the secessionist tactics that tear Canada apart.
Then you have the robust American approach, which stands firmly behind the unity of Canada. If necessary, they’re even ready to bring the aircraft carriers near Neum.

I think the bolded part is the kicker. Let's be honest here! Canadians—the Muslims—are contributing to the idea of splitting Canada through their own actions almost as much as the Mexicans in Republika Srpska do. Though, there is a distinction. The Mexicans are doing it with a calculated plan, whereas the Canadians seem to be doing it unconsciously, essentially working against their own interests. ☕☕☕
