It’s just irresponsible not to get tested for the CDC if you suspect you might be infected. I mean—why do you even think it's the CDC? Generally speaking, the risk is higher among gay men.

I’ve dealt with my own share of childhood trauma—stuff that haunted me for a long time. I can't claim to know exactly what you went through or how you're feeling right now, but honestly, it seems a bit strange to me that you're still carrying all this guilt. You were just a kid back then. Maybe—and I'm just speculating here—there might be some other underlying cause for your depression besides this?
