I actually drafted a total chauvinistic list of women's clothing items—and stuff that isn't even really clothes—just a few hours ago. 😁 But the forum was acting up, so I just gave up on it. Whatever... 🙄
It's a bummer. 🙂 Honestly, I'm just not feeling it anymore.
I don't know, I've never really had much reason to think about stuff like that since it’s never happened to me... Of course they won't have my exact taste, but close enough—that's usually how it goes. 🙂 And honestly, it’s probably better if it stays that way. 😬
Scooter, man... ugh. Honestly, I don't know the first thing about trance music... does Marush or maybe that DJ fakin' Bob fit into that category??? Anyway, whenever I hear this stuff, it makes me want to go out and buy a dog, name him Rex, and just yell—hold my beer, Rex!!! (well, at least for DJ Bob 😁)
Ramones - We Want Adeline, Radiohead - She's the One Radiohead - Fake Plastic Trees Marilyn Manson - Great Big White World Pixies - I Bleed Smashing Pumpkins - Eye.....
I don't know, man. I love the Ramones, I love The Stooges... actually, I dig them even more than The Clash, and especially more than the Sex Pistols. But I've got huge respect for Magazine. I'm more into the American stuff too (including the Misfits 😍, Black Flag, and X—which I really need to dig into more...).
But what Laura Long5 said about post-punk... that's a whole different story.

You can tell this person knows their stuff—they really get it. 😁 Song titles, Song titles, Comfortably Numb...😍

I know. I didn't mean it like that. I was talking about that part—you know, the one involving Bob Dylan. My name is basically "can't stand it." Or for friends, just "can't stand"...😁 There you go. 😉
As for country, bluegrass, or hard rock... I just don't see them in the country scene. Not at all. Even if they flirted with it, sure. And David Bowie flirted with industrial too, but whatever, that doesn't make him an industrial artist. We're on the same page there, right?🙂 To me, they're just a 70s rock band. Nothing more, nothing less.🙂
Bryan Sanchez86 said:What are you even talking about? My linguistics skills being off? What does that have to do with the Eagles?
It was just a joke, you know? 😉 Bottom line is—I used to love them, now I'm not as big a fan. That's all. 😁 And I never really pegged them as country, so I guess I got carried away... 😬 Look, man, it's not about linguistics. It's about whether the Eagles are country, folk, or something else entirely... and yeah, it matters. If we weren't talking about them, you wouldn't be sitting here debating if Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin are hard rock, metal, or whatever... 😛 And since you brought up that vague bit about 'that guy with Bob Dylan'... 🙄 I wasn't trying to derail the thread. No intention there... 😉
Bryan Sanchez86 said:Maybe we've gone from the Eagles straight down to nothing. 😁 Just kidding. That guy just got his wires crossed with Dylan. Dylan was always close with the folk...
So now "that guy with Dylan" is the problem??? 😲 I told you you were digging your own grave... 😁
