I was watching some post-game presser clips the other day, and it’s always funny seeing how much people dance around certain questions. You know the type—when a reporter tries to pin a GM or a coach down on a player who isn't even on their roster.

It’s such a weird social dynamic. On one hand, you want to talk shop and debate whether a guy is worth a massive bag or if his style fits a certain system, but on the other hand, if you're in the room, you can't say anything without it being headline news. It feels like there's this unspoken rule of professional etiquette that basically shuts down any real honesty.

I feel like we lose out on a lot of actual insight because everyone is too busy playing it safe to avoid a PR headache. If you're a fan, you just want the truth, but the "professionals" are always walking on eggshells.

Do you guys think the media's obsession with "respecting" other teams' business actually makes sports coverage more boring?

Running gear is basically just expensive toys; besides that initial hit to your wallet where you drop a few thousand bucks upfront, you won't have to worry about anything breaking since you can always count on them charging you like six hundred bucks just to swap out some tiny little electrical component that's part of a spare part...
Anyone used a bioptron lamp? in Health ·
I remember back in the day, some folks on here were sharing pretty sketchy stories about using that lamp—basically claiming it could actually trigger tumor cells to grow faster and multiply even more aggressively...
Hannah Cox22 said:Were you using this cream all through the winter, or did you just start now because those spots are already starting to pop up?

Honestly, these spots are leftovers from last winter, so I actually started applying it before my recent trip to Florida—because in the past, those areas would always end up getting way darker than the rest of my skin once the sun hit them.
Every single summer, I end up with these dark spots popping up right above my upper lip that honestly look just like a mustache, which is totally not the vibe I'm going for 👎 envy me! My dermatologist actually suggested using Pigmentnorm, and it seriously cleared everything up in about ten days. I just got back from a trip to Miami after two weeks of soaking up the sun, and you know what? Not a single dark spot in sight. Yup!! So if you're dealing with the same thing, this might be your saving grace

Honestly, I’m totally done with all those doctors, specialists, and dermatologists... at this point, my only remaining appointment is with a psychiatrist. 😁 Most of these skin issues that people seem obsessed with treating with Johnson & Johnson or other corticosteroids actually stem from stress, what you eat, or just straight-up genetics. It’s all laid out pretty clearly over in the psoriasis thread...

Honestly, they don't really do much, at least nothing that sticks... I only break them out when my skin starts acting totally haywire from stress, and even then, I just use them for a week before I quit cold turkey...😢

I’m currently dealing with some paroxysmal issues myself, so I figured I’d jump in here to throw out a massive warning about using Johnson & Johnson or any other corticosteroid creams without being super careful. You really need to have a doctor overseeing these treatments, and you definitely shouldn't be using them for more than a month at most, because the side effects are honestly pretty brutal—we're talking things like skin atrophy and other lovely little complications.
