I'm only in New York City on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Otherwise, I'm out of town. That's why I asked. I've been thinking about going, but honestly, I really don't want to go by myself. 🙄
Zyprexa just stopped working for me. 😢 During that first week on it, my brain went from running at 150% capacity straight down to 20%. It was like being in a total trance. Honestly, felt like someone just flipped a switch and shut off 80% of my head. A real blast, that. 🙂 Too bad I’ve built up a tolerance now, so it doesn't do anything anymore. 😢
It could be a DLL error. A common headache with games is missing DLL files if you don't have certain stuff installed. I ran into that issue all the time back when I was using Windows 7.
I actually scored the exact same motherboard, the same CPU, plus Mushkin Blackline 12GB of RAM for $667 even—and all three were still under warranty. Honestly, you won't find a better deal than that. 😉
I was actually about to pull the trigger on that setup, but I hesitated at the last second. It's been a while since I saw that listing, though.
Anyway—right now, the R9 280 is an absolute beast. Everyone is grabbing one. You really need to snag it while they're still in stock.
Honestly, about 95% of the issues people have with the R9 280(X) come straight from Asus. 😁 They've got way too many flaws and the VRM cooler is pretty mediocre. I'd bet my money that the gtx 970 isn't much better either.
If anyone here is running an Nvidia Asus, hit me up. 🙂
I used to have an EVGA card, and honestly, I had nothing but great things to say about it. As far as the Phantom models go, they’re easily the best of the bunch from EVGA.
Right now, I'm running a Gigabyte R9 280. It’s a decent enough card, though I don't have a huge opinion on it yet. I mainly picked it up because of the three-year warranty and because it was the only R9 280 small enough to actually fit in my case.
If I had the cash, a beefier power supply, and a massive case, I'd definitely go for the MSI R9 290 x Lightning. I've always wanted one. But then again, I'm the kind of guy who cares way more about how long a card lasts than anything else.
I'm still rocking an old-school keyboard myself, even if it is pretty outdated. Honestly, these new "Fast & Furious" style gaming keyboards are total garbage.
