Why won't you guys let me start a new discussion thread on the forum?

mellowraven22 said:Nah, you can't start new threads on the forum, and that’s that.
mellowraven22 said:Look, quit playing dumb because we both know you aren't. And neither are we.
Nope, you can't start a thread in the Off-Topic section, and that’s final.

Sam Green73 said:Oh, they absolutely get penalized for lacking manners.
The real punishment is social isolation, and since we're all social creatures by nature, being cast out is a pretty heavy price to pay.
It even plays a huge role in the professional world—when you're looking for a job or trying to climb the corporate ladder at a place like Google or JPMorgan Chase, your soft skills and politeness matter just as much as your resume.
The funny thing is, people who lack those basic manners often mistake being passed over for a promotion as some kind of conspiracy, rather than realizing they just need to work on themselves.
Jacob Foster11 said:Netiquette isn't just some vague suggestion. According to Wikipedia:Netiquette is a set of social conventions that facilitate interaction over networks
Look at that first part. Netiquette is a collection of social conventions. In other words, standards of behavior. That means breaking netiquette is improper conduct.
Now, look at the definition of a troll:In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.
So, a troll is someone who writes specifically to provoke an emotional reaction from others. Now tell me... Why are political names being misspelled? Isn't that done precisely to trigger a reaction? Isn't that trolling? And trolling is banned on this forum—you should know that.
Finally... I have no idea where you see any trolling in my posts. I am not trying to provoke anyone; I am simply stating facts. I stay away from the Politics subforum because it’s a breeding ground for trolls. There is absolutely zero chance of having a high-quality, reasoned discussion on any topic there (IMHO).
Since I refuse to engage in further bickering, I'm dropping this thread. Good luck to everyone...

One guy is gone, nothing left but a fading memory and some old stories, while the other is still very much alive, walking free, and fully capable of standing up for himself or filing a lawsuit if he feels like it...

Officially: my reading is exactly what it should be. My opinions and conclusions—as they are for everyone, including certain users here 😉—must remain objective, even when dealing with nothing but relentless trolls. You received the most basic warning possible. It was for the rude tone in your post. I explicitly stated that in the post itself. Good grief, how much free time do you actually have to go on the offensive over such nonsense?
And let's get one thing straight right now (because I know exactly what's coming): if you start posting successive comments spaced closer together than a user can physically type them (I think the limit is 90 minutes), I will merge them for you from six feet under (if I haven't kicked you by then)... so hold your breath until you turn blue.
As for the bolded part, I’d write something, but I honestly can't stop laughing.🤣

Your posts and the topics you pick... honestly, I’m sometimes at a loss for words. 😲
Does it ever cross your mind that you might actually freak us out? You’re totally killing the vibe. Like, we finish a great dinner, sit down at the computer to see what's up, and then there's Melody and her backside. 😢
You've definitely contributed more with that ass of yours.
And don't even get me started on those photos you post on the forums to show off your "erotic" side. You're making life miserable. 🙂
🙂
But wait, there's more. That stuff you wrote in the women's section about getting a uterine scrape at the OBGYN. 😱 Good grief, lady, what is wrong with you?
Stop scaring us.
Donna Wood52 said:Honestly, this whole forum feels pretty biased, and the users here are just plain weird. Everyone’s got their own little agenda. 😉
And don't even get me started on the mods. ☕
I hang out on other boards too, and they're way better than this one. 👍

If you ever decide to come back, I’ll be right here enjoying your posts on the Board of Trustees again. 🙂
