Personally, I’m not really a fan of long noses, but honestly, if you just contour the bridge, it automatically looks longer—unless you lift it up a bit too much... I think your old nose was actually fine, like, it wasn't even something that needed surgery... mine wasn't exactly perfect either, so I ended up going under the knife myself :sad:

I honestly have no clue how your nose could change shape just from squeezing your thumb that hard, especially since there isn't even any bruising or anything 🤷Does it hurt, though? You should definitely go see a doctor for a checkup ASAP...

I really wanted to hear some real-life stories about nose jobs... honestly, I've heard some pretty scary things about Bedeković. On the other hand, Džepina seems like a solid surgeon to me. Are you happy with how everything turned out after your surgery with Bastaić?

Honestly, after acting like that, I wouldn't go back to Stanec even if they were giving everything away for free.

He kept saying he could definitely do it, he just wanted to wait a bit for some time to pass... and now? Now he’s just making up these ridiculous excuses and acting totally unprofessional. Not even mentioning how rude and completely unprofessional the nurse was being, too. I really pushed for him to be my surgeon because I genuinely thought he was an expert, especially since he told me himself he could pull it off—that's why I insisted! And honestly, I just saw that old scandal involving Stanec in the news... this guy acts like he's better than everyone else, almost like he's judging procedures just for the sake of aesthetics, yet he went and opened his own private clinic with absolutely insane prices. So, I didn't actually have my nose done by Dr. Stanec, but I went to see him about getting a rhinoplasty and we basically had everything set 👎I mean, everyone keeps telling me he’s this amazing surgeon, but honestly? From the jump, I got this vibe that you couldn't say a single word to him if you disagreed. Like, he just says what he wants, even if he was saying something totally different just a minute before... kind of a weird attitude, I guess. So, I’ve been lurking in this nose job thread for ages because I was actually planning to go through with it myself. But I finally decided to jump in and post because, honestly, I am just totally grossed out by how they treat people at the Edumed clinic. I’d actually read before about this one girl who went in for a consultation with Dr. Stanec at Edumed, and apparently, he tried to pitch her using expired implants just to lower the price to like $4,000, when he usually asks for over $5,000 just for a simple augmentation. Now, look, I truly believe he’s a huge expert—like, he’s helped tons of people after serious injuries—but this kind of behavior? It’s just totally unacceptable. Anyway, back to me. About two years ago, I had a nose job that I wasn't happy with at all. I went to talk to Dr. Stanec, and we agreed that I should wait a bit so my nose could settle and the scarring could fade. That waiting game lasted like a year and a half, mostly because the professor kept changing his story! But he always insisted that a revision was possible and that we just had to wait for the right time. I figured, okay, fine, better to wait than to have another surgery fail on me. But oh my god, the nurse at Edumed was always so incredibly rude. You could never actually book a consultation in any reasonable timeframe—it was always months away. And even when she told me to call back for an appointment, she never actually did it! I had to call them a million times just to get her on the phone... I felt like a broken record. 👎 I couldn't even get the appointment time the doctor actually promised me! And don't even get me started on the waiting room—you're always stuck there forever, and appointments never happen when they're scheduled. Plus, the doctor kept changing the price we already agreed on, acting like I just misunderstood him. At the time, I thought, whatever, the money isn't the main thing, I just want a skilled surgeon to make sure this works. And then, suddenly, out of nowhere, Dr. Stanec decides the surgery isn't even necessary! He basically "thinks" it shouldn't be done and claims my nose will just improve on its own, so he won't operate. This happened right after I spoke up about how impossible it was to get an appointment from the nurse. It is seriously ridiculous for a doctor at his level to act like this. He kept telling me everything could be fixed if we just waited, and he even tried to give me a date recently because he said my scar had "healed" enough... and now, suddenly, he can't do it because of the scar and says my nose looks better? 😲 Like, is he trying to drive me crazy or what? Maybe Stanec is a great surgeon, but as a human being? I don't know about that... I am just so disappointed and shocked. Has anyone else dealt with him?
