To be honest, I don't see many similarities here. At first glance, it seems like nobody is being favored at Red Bull Racing; the team is under American ownership and both lead drivers are foreigners. There aren't any racial divisions or eccentric personalities like Ron Dennis, either. The team appears to be organized and built on very healthy foundations, and I don't see even a hint of a destructive rivalry between Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber that would harm anyone. If anything, it feels like the drivers at Red Bull Racing actually encourage one another to perform better.
On the other hand, McLaren played a very dirty hand during the remake 2007 season. They brought in a world champion for an enormous amount of money, but not to help him win again—quite the opposite, they seemed intent on stifling his development and preventing his victories. This was because they had their "golden child," someone they were investing millions into, who meant far more to them than just another talented driver. Even certain officials in the U.S. government were making comments about how Lewis Hamilton represented the end of Formula 1 as a predominantly white sport. To make matters worse, Lewis Hamilton's father added to the tension with his own political and racial outbursts, including attacks on Fernando Alonso, claiming he had a "privileged" upbringing compared to Lewis Hamilton, who supposedly had to fight "institutional racism" at every turn. All of this just poisoned the relationships within the team and across the entire Formula 1 scene.
It was an incredibly ugly year—one that never happened again!

I suppose I wouldn't mind at all if his brakes failed too, I guess.😬
If Hamilton manages to pull off a win, he’ll take over the lead in the championship standings; based on where Button sits right now, I suppose he's trailing by just a single point.

How could they? I suppose I did mention that my own Ford Fiesta might actually be faster than his race car😁 I'm not quite sure what else I could have done to make my point clearly.🤣
McLaren drivers... I suppose we should be happy that Alonso finished second rather than focusing on the fact that Lewis Hamilton had a tire failure. We would likely feel just as satisfied if Weber had suffered a similar misfortune, wouldn't we? The memories from 2007 are merely an added bonus given today's circumstances, rather than the core issue... If Ron Dennis were still calling the shots, perhaps things might have unfolded differently, and maybe cosmicridge5 would have managed to work some magic. 😍 - this is how you should view it:
no hard feelings! 👍
I will see you all in a week at Button's garage; perhaps luck might be on your side! 👋
Championship standings:
1 Great Britain Jenson Button McLaren 70
2 Spain Fernando Alonso Ferrari 67
3 Germany Sebastian Vettel Red Bull 60
I suppose both Jenson Button and Fernando Alonso perform quite well in Monaco, so perhaps we will see more of that action in the Principality in just about a week.
redheron12 It seems that someone mentioned:
I suppose we’re all just quite relaxed, aren't we? It feels as though there isn't much competitive tension to speak of, which I guess might actually be a good thing, if you think about it. 😁
I suppose I should perhaps offer a bit of insight regarding the nature of competitiveness:
Jenson Button, driving for McLaren-Mercedes, finished in 70th place.
I suppose there is some merit to considering how Fernando Alonso managed to secure second place at Spa while driving for Ferrari, though it remains a bit of a mystery to me.
I suppose Sebastian Vettel finished in third place driving for Ger Red Bull-Renault, which I guess was a decent result.
I suppose there is some merit to considering the McLaren-Mercedes 119.
It seems that Ferrari has managed to secure 116 points.
I suppose there were 113 instances involving the Ger Red Bull-Renault.
Everything seems quite competitive at that level. I suppose anything below that isn't really in the same league anymore.

With fans like that, I guess it’s no wonder Lewis Hamilton keeps running into such bad luck. You miss the entire race, start arguing at the very end, and then somehow expect the tires to stay perfect too...😁
It probably won't happen. 😍
redheron12 said:I suppose we McLaren fans will just have to cross our fingers and hope that some stray spring might at least land in the eye of those Ferrari folks. 👍
I suppose those springs are a bit like winning the Powerball lottery... you might hit the jackpot once, but I doubt it'll ever happen again. 😁
I suppose we are quite relaxed. 🙂

It’s kind of funny, I guess, because even my Ford Fiesta doesn't really have issues like that.🙂
cosmicridge5 is a witch!!!😂
Arthur Doyle70 said:I suppose some sort of visionary managed to execute this quite brilliantly...🙏
I believe I know which ones they are:
cosmicridge5 said:I suppose I would prefer to hear an explanation regarding how Lewis Hamilton suffered that tire failure once we get through these commercials. 😳 😬
I suppose you can just go ahead and argue with the lady... if you really think you can. 😬
Let's take a look at the current championship standings:
1 British Grand Prix results J Button McLaren 68
2 British Grand Prix results L Hamilton McLaren 67
3 British Grand Prix results F Alonso Ferrari 64
Edward Howard2 said:I suppose I don't see how the Red Bull team has anything to do with this. 🤷
I guess this is just one more instance of those frequent driving errors made by Vettel. 🤣
I mean, I realize that, but I really don't want to rub salt in the wound for TBF. 😁
Keith Rodriguez27 I suppose I should mention that...
I suppose it might be worth considering whether Vettel's current trajectory holds any lasting significance for the sport. 🤦🤣🤣
I suppose it might be fair to say that Red Bull is starting to develop a bit of a reputation for being an unserious outfit.
I believe it appears that Alonso has managed to secure a spot on the podium. 🙂
Arthur Doyle70 said:If I may ask you one thing, do you perhaps experience some sort of euphoria when something minor goes wrong🤣🤣? I suppose I am happy for you, but maybe try being a bit more gentle... I am actually just opening a bottle of warm bourbon to comfort myself 😢
Please don't hold it against us... in moments like these, we are somewhat overcome by memories of the summer of 2007 😍
Poor Rosberg, I suppose he's still thinking about that Austrian woman! 😁
Massa just demonstrated exactly what he thinks about Kubica's "pre-existing debt"🤣

I wonder if the reporter was attractive? 🤣
A stunning Alpine girl, maybe with the scent of freshly cut mountain grass in her hair, a blonde... 😍
