Yeah, I know it doesn't support n-mode—without that, it could probably hit 54Mbit, which is why it feels a bit weird. But honestly, it doesn't matter; it’s an old piece of gear and it's time for an upgrade anyway. Best bet is just to grab a new adapter and call it a day.
I've run into a bit of a headache that I just can't seem to shake. It's regarding my Airlive WT-2000PCI network card.
My main router is downstairs, and since my computer is temporarily set up upstairs, wireless is really my only option here.
My internet speed is supposed to be 40Mbps, but through this card, I'm struggling to get anything north of 18 or 19Mbps. I'm stumped. I’ve tried everything—fiddling with settings, swapping out drivers, tweaking the router configuration—but nothing sticks.
The frustrating part is that I know the signal is strong enough up here; I tested it with my phone and it hits near full speed easily.
According to what I've read online, this card should be capable of speeds up to 125Mbps.
I'm running Windows 10 32.
If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this, I'd really appreciate the help.

Hey everyone—what kind of price could I realistically get for this gear?
Intel-Dual Core E5500 2.80 GHz Matična-Foxconn 2 A8C (intel g41 chipset)
Intel-Dual Core E5500 2.80 GHz Matična-Foxconn 2 A8C
Hard drive - WD Blue 320GB 7200rpm, 8MB (WD3200AAJS)
Monitor - HP S2031a LCD 20", 1600x900, 60Hz
Webcam - Microsoft LifeCam Cinema
The monitor and cam are basically like new—everything else is in great shape too.
Hey there, major props on the adventure.😉
Since I live near Travnik, I can tell you that picking a route through S. Bosna wasn't a bad call at all. Jajce to D. Vakuf is decent. From D. Vakuf toward Travnik via Komar gets a little more intense—lots of climbing, and it’s pretty sparsely populated—but in my opinion, it's still your best bet. That said, the stretch from Travnik to Vitez is great; it's straight, flat, and has a gentle downhill. It gets a bit busier, but it’s easily the best way to get toward Sarajevo. The leg from Vitez to Zenica is much quieter, specifically the path you picked, since it isn't a main highway. Beyond that, I've only ever taken the interstate to Sarajevo, so I can't speak to the condition of the road running alongside it.
Just a little bit of help from my end. And don't forget to grab a local brew in Travnik—it's worth it.🙂
Good luck!

Just testing things out..

Yeah, I'm currently sitting at 2GB of RAM and I’ll probably grab another 2GB soon—quick question though, when I go to pick up that extra stick, does it have to be an exact match to what I've already got? Right now I'm running a 2GB Samsung DDR3 400MHz stick. Does the manufacturer, capacity, and frequency all need to line up? Thanks!
Hey, quick question here,
which would you guys prioritize for an upgrade: picking up a new GPU or just grabbing some more RAM?
