I don't know much about fruit or veggie gardens, but the folks over at the local park district actually gave us props for our flower and shrub setup. They took photos of everything, and whenever they swing by for inspections or maintenance, they see we’ve got it dialed in and haven't messed with the layout.
They even mentioned they wish everyone else put in half as much effort.
The only thing you can be 100% certain of, though, is that people are going to steal your stuff. Instead of letting things bloom and smell great, people just rip all the flowers out the second they start looking a little wilted.
I feel worst for the lilacs. They make the whole neighborhood smell amazing, but they don't last two days before you see some idiots lurking around, tearing them up and running off with them.😢

I was against it then, and I'm still against it now. On the old forum poll—if I remember right, there were more than that, and I voted against on all of them—I was one of the first ones at the polling station at the crack of dawn voting "no."

If you wanted actual useful data, you should've left the option to see who voted for what. Then I could've actually compared this to the old public poll.

That's the whole point—I couldn't. The email went to an old account from back in 2004. Some jerk posted my private info publicly in 2007, so that account is basically dead/retired, and I was given permission to start this new one. 😛

I nuked that email immediately after reading it, so I don't remember the exact address. It was definitely from some forum domain, and the source mentioned an Orbis server, maybe Orbis2.
I didn't even care enough to dig for details—I just skimmed it real quick and trashed it. The message basically told me to go online and gamble, and it used a user ID number instead of a handle. Like, it wasn't Thomas Castillo14, just the specific ID number assigned to whatever account they were targeting.
Usually, this kind of garbage doesn't even make it past my server's spam filter, which is why I actually took a peek. But honestly, I deleted it so fast I can't recall the specifics.
The only reason I remember this at all is because it was the first and only time I ever got an email from this site. I have everything else turned off except for admin notifications.
