Thank you Jane and everyone who—in any way at all—offered a helping hand during our time of grief.

My deepest, most sincere condolences...
brightgardener8 said:Dear friends,
Over these past 20 months spent on these forums—it has been so incredibly hard to read about your loved ones passing—because I truly felt your heartache and knew that my own moment was coming.
My mom passed away yesterday. 🙂
She suffered for far too long—so, in a way, is there any relief in knowing she is finally at peace?
I sincerely hope she is in a much better place now.

Nothing will ever feel the same without her.

I wish you all so much strength during these toughest battles of life.

brightgardener8, please accept my deepest condolences..
stay strong.
What does one wish for someone truly dear?
I wish you sunshine even when the rain falls,
I wish you a smile when tears begin to flow,
I wish you light amidst the darkness,
And I wish you a year far more beautiful than any you have known in the US... from the bottom of my heart.
I, too, find myself rejoicing alongside all of you over the good news from these past few days—truly, isn't it wonderful? 🙂 👍
brightgardener8, Melissa Kim45, Nancy Hernandez43... everyone... just drink some sparkling water when you feel like a volcano is about to erupt inside you—it won't actually purge anything, but it might steady your nerves. Take a deep breath, scream into a pillow, vent to those of us who truly understand what you're enduring, laugh, or cry when no one is watching... Find an outlet and just let it go.

If they crave sweets, let them have them. If they overdo it, explain things to them gently—the way you would to a small child.
If they want Bird Milk, give it to them. If the craving is almost sane—if it’s actually doable—then do it for the sake of your own conscience.
If you feel the urge to snap at them... please, don't.
Trust me...
They drive you crazy, but it isn't really them—it's the illness within them.

And forgive their words and disrespect promptly... just do it quietly, in your heart. Tell them you love them every single day, even when you feel like you're falling apart at the seams. They need that more than food or water.
🙂

And in those moments when you feel like nobody in the entire world understands you... take my word for it, there will always be someone who does.
If nowhere else, then right here.😘
🙂 🙂
Melissa Kim45 said:She’s dealing with diarrhea—which always seems to happen whenever I'm not around—and she mentioned having white stools.
😕
Who knows how many pills she has actually managed to swallow?😁
Before every single hospital visit—whether it's an exam or chemo—she becomes absolutely impossible.
Just when I feel like I finally have her back to herself, everything resets to zero.🙄

White stools and dark urine could be signs that the liver isn't functioning properly... you must mention this to the doctor at the next checkup, so we can prevent total failure.

Stay strong—don't let this break you. I am with you with all my heart and soul. 🙂

So, the results are finally in... and honestly, I don't even know what to tell you... the SITUATION is almost exactly where it was back in May when they diagnosed the recurrence with metastases in the lungs (something has just settled in there and won't budge). On the bright side, they spotted some calcifications—which means the chemo actually did its job—and there hasn't been huge progression in the disease. This Monday, I’m taking everything to the oncology board to decide our next move; it will likely be more chemo since I can't radiate my hip area anymore—I've hit the maximum limit for radiation there... I wouldn't say I'm overly devastated—maybe I was hoping for just a tiny bit better news—but what is, is... I keep pushing forward... though I have to admit, even after fighting this war for nearly nine years, whenever those bad results roll in, a certain amount of anxiety always follows. I won't keep repeating myself like a broken record, so based on that, I'm moving ahead... Thank you all for the support... I'll check back in once I get the orders on what comes next...
Stay kind and stay brave.
Your Diana

Diana, don't give up—don't surrender for any of us—we are all right here with you... 😘
electricgardener14 said:...And that was how he wanted to live. Even when he became immobile—when he couldn't move even his hands or feet—that spark, that will to live, never left his eyes. Sometimes I get this feeling that I gave up before he did; that I could have fought harder, tried one more thing. That I let him go far too easily. It's so incredibly hard for me, and I don't think I'll ever forget that last conscious look in his eyes. It held all the sorrow in the world. Does it always have to be this painful?!
electricgardener14

I find myself battling those exact same thoughts in the middle of the night... reliving every single moment, every conversation, every word, every glance, every touch. It is just devastatingly difficult. I constantly blame myself—wondering if I didn't give everything I had. If I could have done more, or better... but I didn't....
I still find myself staring out the window whenever I leave or come home, desperately hoping I'll see him just like he used to—welcoming me with such joy, walking beside me—hoping it was all just a nightmare...
Yesterday would have been his and his mother's 31st wedding anniversary...
I feel neither hunger nor thirst—only helplessness and rage... an immense sadness... a gaping hole right through my heart...
I have 10 bottles of 5% glucose left—along with 10 infusion sets—and 11 ampules each of vitamin B1 and B6. If anyone could use them, please send me a private message; I'm happy to give them away. Could you please let me know this week? Otherwise, I'll just drop them off at the clinic—they have an expiration date, after all, and I really don't want them to go to waste...
(NYC)
Diana,
please accept my most sincere condolences.
Stay brave and stay strong—we simply have to find a way to carry on.
Carol Ramirez, my deepest, most sincere condolences.

I try my hardest to stay away from these pages—really, I do—but somehow, I always find myself drawn back here...
Hannah Thomas28 said:It’s just so hard... I’ve been reading through your posts for a while now—feeling like a bit of a "spy," I suppose—feeding my soul on your beautiful news while grieving over the bad.
My mom's pancreatic cancer metastasized to her liver after just two months... We were absolutely shell-shocked when they told us after her surgery that she might not even make it through the day, because they "lost" her during the procedure three times. Oh, how I cried back then! I truly thought I wouldn't see her or hold her again. But we made it through that. She’s doing well and looks wonderful. So how can she possibly have cancer?!!!!!
She knows about the cancer, but she doesn't know about the metastasis—and of course, she isn't aware of those horrific medical prognoses. She isn't doing chemo or radiation, since they say it won't help her.
It is so difficult to watch someone who has energy, who looks healthy, shows no symptoms, no pain... she's even hungry.
I had hope, but I feel it slipping away. I'm just surrendering. Today, I am depressed. But this isn't who I am!
She takes so many things. B17, Reishi, colloidal silver, apricot kernels, Noni syrup, nettle... I'm even considering energy healers. I just don't know anymore.
We had finally managed to "stabilize"—thinking, since there is cancer, maybe one can live with it, especially since there are no metastases and everything else looks clear. And then comes the "blow" from yesterday.
"It's not good," the doctor says...
And I have to pretend to be cheerful and upbeat, when all I want to do is run into her arms and scream, "Mom, help me!" Seriously—she's supposed to be the one helping *me*!!!
I have entered the dark chambers of my temple; tears and fears are becoming my demons.
Sometimes I flee to the rooms of my childhood, because they can't follow me there...

What can I say... I’ve always told everyone that before they say something stupid to their loved ones—before they fight or insult them—they should pause and think. They should realize the day will come when they are begging to turn back time, wishing they hadn't said certain things or perhaps wishing they had said what they should have. Well, I suppose I need to think the same way... As if time could ever be turned back. Just a little more time.

I feel like a sailboat out on the open ocean being battered by winds from every direction, and I simply don't know how to handle the sails; the waves are crashing against me, spinning me in circles... God, please help me set my sails and catch my wind.

My father closed his eyes for the last time on November 8th at 8:30 in the morning. The battle was lost—but I truly believe God always knows best and is orchestrating something greater—so he must be in a much more beautiful place now...

Ivankovic, please accept my deepest, most heartfelt condolences.

I want to thank everyone who stood by our side during these past ten months.
First, my deepest condolences to everyone who has lost a loved one over these past few days (as much as I hate 😠 )
I see there are many new faces here—which I dislike even more.
Everything is just going wrong lately. 👎
My father didn't make it through the full course of therapy; he had to stop on day 30. It’s been 12 days since then, and things are only getting worse. Even though he's started eating again, he still lacks the strength to even turn over in bed, let alone sit up or get out. Then came the yellow stools and dark urine—a sign the liver isn't functioning properly. He developed a fever too (he wouldn't let us take his temperature, but we assume it's there because he's constantly hot and flushed in the face). Things have calmed down slightly, but the symptoms persist. To make matters worse, he's had diarrhea both last night and today. Mom says his last bowel movement today was a normal color—so perhaps there is still a tiny glimmer of hope...?🙏
As for the mental state issues, I am almost afraid to write about them—because everything being discussed by Angela Wright, Melissa Kim45, brightgardener8, and everyone else feels as if they were merely echoing our own experiences 👎
He is hurling such terrible insults and profanity from his mouth—things I have never heard in my entire life. He repeats the same sentence ten times over. He won't let anyone touch his legs or arms. He refuses to hear anything about doctors, tests, or results... He won't even listen to the idea of a home health aide or anything similar. He won't let anyone near him except for Mom, and she is already completely exhausted. He doesn't have the strength to shave, yet he won't allow anyone else to do it for him. He won't even let us wipe him with a damp cloth, to say nothing of washing or bathing.
Worst of all, he refuses fluids; when he does drink, he literally takes only half a sip at a time. He barely manages to get half a liter a day.

Unfortunately, we are all painfully aware that this was—or still is—his only chance at recovery, leaving us with nothing left but prayer.
But we are still hoping; we are still believing.
These days are just incredibly difficult for me...
Drew Nguyen47 said:Has anyone here actually tried the Breuss diet—and more importantly—what were the real results? I’m truly eager to hear from you. My father has just started this regimen, so I find myself wondering... has anyone else navigated this journey already?

I should point out—if I may—that... It is absolutely critical—truly vital—that therapy is administered exactly according to the prescribed instructions. Why would anyone take such a risk?No deviations—nothing extra—no medications, and absolutely no food involved. I am telling you this from firsthand experience. Sadly, I personally know a lady who tried incorporating vegetables while undergoing her treatment, and she achieved nothing at all. She simply exhausted her body—and the tumor didn't budge.
Drew Nguyen47 said:Does anyone here have experience with the Breuss diet and its actual effects? Please—if you know anything, share it with me. My dad started this regimen, and I’m just desperate to hear if anyone else has gone through this.

My father is currently on day 26 of fasting.
He suffers from intense, periodic pain all over his body—it is absolutely exhausting him, both physically and mentally. For the last three nights, his left ear has been throbbing. Before that, it was his legs, then his shoulder, briefly his head... the pain just migrates through him. And it only seems to strike at night. His bowel movements are also incredibly heavy every other day—which, frankly, is hard to even wrap my head around. Yesterday, he actually had two within a 12-hour window. This is all happening without any cleansing teas or enemas. Since the first day of therapy, the odor from his stools has been horrific. Even his skin has an odor—which I suppose is normal, given the body is purging toxins in every possible way.
He has lost all his strength; he can no longer get out of bed, turn over, or even make it to the bathroom. He has also lost significant weight. We don't weigh him because it isn't appropriate, but in my estimation, he is down at least 45 pounds.
He complains of being utterly exhausted yet unable to sleep, which only adds to his misery. Mentally, he is quite fragile—he wavers, wanting to give up, before gritting his teeth and deciding to push through again.
He’s drinking kidney tea, a sage blend, vervain, and some tea for lungs and bones, along with royal jelly. Of course, we also give him the beet juice blend—though since we can't make it ourselves, we have to buy it. He probably only feels hungry once or twice a day during this whole period. He won't even touch the onion broth, so we don't force him.
His mood, energy, and nerves fluctuate wildly from one day to the next. There are days when he is pain-free, filled with optimism and faith—only to be hit by nights like these last three, where he howls in agony. It completely destroys him, to the point where he begs us to just let him die.
In my view, this is his only shot at survival. Chemotherapy would likely kill him even faster, and the suffering would probably be even worse. Besides, his doctors didn't exactly push chemo on him; they were more inclined toward pain management (but I don't want to go there right now—it's not the time for outbursts of anger or bitterness).
We are praying and placing everything in God's hands...
Tell your dad not to give up. If you need specific information, you can ask Lepin on the forum. He doesn't post often, but he follows this community closely and even has a blog under the same name—you can message him there and he'll likely respond.
Hang in there, and remember: NO GIVING UP.

Unfortunately, I am joining this forum under such heartbreaking circumstances... someone very dear to me has been diagnosed with lung cancer that has metastasized to the brain (that portion of the tumor was removed two days ago) and before they operate on his lungs, he has to endure a grueling round of chemotherapy... I am a complete novice in all of this—so I need help... my family and I are researching every possible avenue to heal him... we would even consider alternative treatments... please, if anyone here has any experience (be it positive or negative), could you let me know? I am hoping to connect with people who truly understand—for instance, Drago Plecko—who actually know what they are doing... please, send your recommendations... thank you all so much...
and good luck...

My dad is currently on day 21 of the Breuss therapy. If you want to dive into the specifics of that, just reach out. You should also definitely check out the blog by Lepin—he managed to recover using this method and documented his entire journey. It is difficult—quite difficult, really—but isn't that a small price to pay if it means saving a life?
jadepuma662, please accept my deepest condolences—I am truly so sorry.
Hello everyone.
I read your posts daily—even if I don't chime in myself.
The situation here at home is... undefined, if I can even put it that way.
Today marks day 18 of Dad's Brezov therapy. He has lost about 20 pounds so far. He is incredibly weak—his legs just won't cooperate, so he mostly stays in bed, occasionally sitting up, and barely manages the walk to the bathroom. He says he has zero strength, which makes sense given his lack of food intake—and according to the latest tests, the cancer has become quite aggressive. He suffers from intense pain periodically, though it hits suddenly and then vanishes just as quickly. It moves all over—one moment it's his legs, then his hand, then a shoulder... He also experiences these strange stinging sensations in various parts of his body that last for a few minutes before stopping. When the pain isn't hitting him, despite being so frail, he still tries to do exercises in bed—he really is a fighter! He’s having significant bowel movements every other day, which is curious considering he isn't eating. Through all of this, he hasn't felt hungry once (?!). He struggles heavily with insomnia, too. Also, his skin has developed a very strong odor—literally. I asked people who have fasted similarly for other reasons, and they all confirmed it happens, so we aren't worried anymore; we just bathe him more frequently than usual.
Despite everything, some positive things have happened: he says his vision is much clearer, and that "brain fog" is gone. Before the therapy, his knees were killing him, but now they feel much better. All the swelling in his legs—the knees and joints—has almost entirely subsided. His face is regaining a healthy flush; the yellowness and grayness are fading day by day (his face was quite literally a grayish-yellow color). Even his eyes look brighter.
We pray every single day for his success and find joy in every small improvement.
I will update you with more results.
Stay strong, and don't give up, just as you haven't until now... sending love to you all!
My deepest condolences
