Here it is, folks... hit a wall with the GPU. It just won't go past 685MHz. Final specs: Processor E4500 @ 2.93, kingamx 2x 1gb DDR2 667MHz @ 709MHz, Albatron 8800gts 675 core, 1563 shader, 1050 memory (2100)... total score of 11338 on 3DMark.
Even for me, things just won't settle down... since the CPU still isn't cutting it, I've turned my attention to the GPU... My new 3DMark record sits at 11113...
It's a decent case. Airflow really comes down to how you arrange the components inside and manage the cables... plus setting up your intake and exhaust fans correctly enough.
It’s all the same thing, really... nothing different here... just read the overclocking guide, you idiot, and either bump up the CPU voltage or tweak the memory multiplier if the motherboard won't let you push the FSB any higher.

Is there a real risk of overheating? Temps hit about 80 degrees Celsius during newer games. And will this amateur overclocking actually yield any noticeable results?
thanks
Don't bother overclocking... won't be worth the effort. Try cooling the card down at stock settings first.

I want to overclock the CPU, but every single time I try and run 3DMark 05, I get a Blue Screen or the whole system just freezes. Why? I haven't touched the voltage, just the frequency...
Not exactly an overclocking expert, so if someone actually knows what they're doing, some help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Temperature? What’s the error code on the Blue Screen?
