So, what exactly is a fracture *loco typico*? Basically, I’ve got a broken arm myself, and that’s the term they used in my diagnosis.
So, you're saying there's actually no point in taking them? If that's the case—what do you guys think I should be doing instead?
Look, I’m nowhere near being a cop... I haven't even finished high school yet. Not that it really matters right now, but just bear with me. What do you mean by "another dimension"? I'm pretty big into sports, so I'm mostly looking to kick my energy levels and focus up a notch—that's why I'm digging into the whole vitamin thing... plus, just trying to stay healthy in general.
I mean, I definitely could use some vitamins in general... just to help me function better, feel more alive, actually have some energy instead of being a zombie all day, boost my immune system, and stuff like that...
Hey guys, I’ve been feeling like I really need to start hitting the vitamins—my energy levels have been all over the place lately—so I wanted to pick your brains... do you think taking one tablet of Complex b and Plivit C every day is actually a good move?
I’m not sure if I’m asking this the right way, but I really need some advice on how to boost my energy levels—specifically before I hit the field or get some intense training in. Basically, I want to be able to go harder, run longer, and just not hit that wall halfway through, you know? Like, let's say I’ve got a big game scheduled for the afternoon—what should I be eating for breakfast or grabbing for a snack earlier in the day to make sure I feel totally energized and "on"? I want that feeling where I’m actually awake and ready to crush it, rather than just dragging myself around. Any tips?😬 😉
Just wanted to drop a quick note—I actually got a chance to test my blood sugar today since my neighbor is diabetic and let me use their monitor. It clocked in at 5.1.🙂🙂.
So, I was reading up on this, and apparently adrenaline can spike your glucose levels... is it possible mine shot up because of the rush? I was running late to the hospital that morning and ended up sprinting like crazy—definitely put some strain on me!
Thanks, Charles Edwards8—honestly, you're the first person here who's actually given me a little bit of hope.😉
There’s absolutely zero history of diabetes in my family—not even among my extended relatives. I’m about 5'10" and weigh around 156 lbs. Plus, I stay pretty active—I’m hitting the pavement running a lot and doing plenty of pushups... so honestly, I’m kind of stumped as to why my blood sugar is hitting these high levels. Like I mentioned, I just take one Vitamin C supplement a day to keep my immune system in check and call it a day...
6.7 or something. Usually, you'd see it landing somewhere between 3.5 and 5.9.
Yeah, you're totally right. It’s been about 9 hours since I last ate—well, since I had that fancy chocolate cappuccino, anyway. I wonder if it has anything to do with me overdoing it at 3.1 miles yesterday? I definitely pushed myself a bit harder than usual. Plus, I take effervescent Vitamin C tablets every single day... honestly, who knows. I'm just crossing my fingers that everything's fine and it's just something I ate... I don't think I could handle dealing with some actual illness.
Thanks
Hey, Lisa Barrett22—you’re totally right about that... I really need to put together a list of all the stuff I should be staying away from eating... thanks!
So, I went in for my military physical today, and turns out my glucose levels are way too high. Now I’ve gotta head back in a week for more bloodwork. Does anyone know how to get things back in range—like, what's the best way to bring those sugar numbers down? Honestly, I don't even eat that much junk or sweets, so this really caught me off guard... help me out, guys, I'm seriously stressing over this... thanks!
