Proposal for the "Where to buy, find, or fix...?" subforum in Feedback & Suggestions ·
So how many PDF threads would we actually need to start on Reddit for something like this? Maybe 30?
Patrick Wright2 said:I'm all over the Premier League, the Championship, and both League One and Two, plus I've got my eyes glued to the Australian league right now, so I’m more than happy to dive into any talk about those. If you guys really want me to, I can definitely expand my coverage to include Ligue 1 and Serie A too—specifically focusing on the Lyon and Milan matches.

First 👋

The rest of you weigh in—half of what was posted last time was just nonsense, not worth taking seriously. Or is it possible nobody actually wants anything?

Jerry Rogers6 said:I can't believe this guy is bringing that nonsense here—it’s like watching someone try to fix a Tesla with a hammer. Just leave the garbage at the door.

Interesting, isn't it?

Everything comes to light once the spotlights fade. 🙂

And somehow... you can't just ignore that recent, shameless stunt where they shut down the entire discussion after the whole chain story came to light—completely deleting everything for absolutely no reason. I’m convinced it’s just another one of those transparently motivated moves from our "stellar" super-moderators.

Are we actually going to sit here and talk about that botched diagnosis, or what?

It would actually be pretty great if someone could just lock these posts down—if that’s even an option here—so we can stop dealing with random people popping in. You know the type: folks who haven't cared about this topic for years, yet they show up out of nowhere to chime in. If we could just clear out those irrelevant distractions, we could finally get back to the actual discussion without being interrupted by people who aren't even part of the conversation anymore.

What’s everyone thinking?

Start a thread if you think you have enough material for a decent intro.

Just keep in mind I'll shut the thread down if it turns into a debate about Messi's growth hormone treatments.

And no, I won't be returning any posts.

George Ward7 said:Are we getting a separate thread for the U-17 Euros starting tomorrow?

I mean, I think it’d be a good call. People are gonna be watching this tournament pretty closely, especially since our kids have such big ambitions. Plus, any time we actually qualify for a youth championship finals like this, it deserves its own space, you know? Since we rarely make it to the final stages, we should probably take advantage of it.

Why not? Open the thread.
Don't overthink it—this thread is pinned, so most people are already following. Those who only drop in for specific topics probably won't bother reading this new one anyway.

There are a few of you here—just list which leagues you'd follow, and I'll put a list together. If we get enough interest (let's say > 5 leagues), we can kick the thread off. If more people want in later, it's easy enough to join. If anyone thinks this is too much work, go find someone to help you—you know how to use PMs.
I'm sure steelgardener24 will pull some random league out of a third-rate country just so he can have someone to hang out with 🤣
We don't have any objections—it’s up to you all to work out the details if anyone is actually interested.
Think this thread will hit 100 posts per season? 😁
we’ll settle on who handles what here—basically, first come, first served.
We could give it a shot, why not 🤷

I’d suggest limiting this thread to just one analysis at a time—no commentary, no fluff, none of that other spam—otherwise the whole thing is just going to get clogged up
It’s too early for anyone to be making reservations—nobody knows if we’ll all still be rooting for the blue team by then ☕

You don't seem to get it—debating ethnicity or taking cheap shots at specific groups isn't what this Football forum is for.
I’ve read through this entire debate in this thread.

Hopefully you realize—given how things usually go on sports forums—that these aren't exactly the kind of discussions we see here.🙂
Why is Pelé being so hard on America? in Close to Politics ·
Pelé is throwing shade at us because he’s playing defense for the Democratic Party—who are clearly just using "hooliganism" as a convenient distraction to mask all the corruption happening within the federation. Why would Pelé bother? Simple—it’s all about mutual favors. He’s basically trading his integrity to secure the Democratic Party's vote for the UEFA presidency, a seat this guy would sell his soul for if it meant staying in power.
darkmarlin16 said:And honestly, why on earth would anyone allow trolling in any space to begin with? 🤦

If we want people to actually relax and have some fun here—without poisoning the other threads where that kind of attitude just isn't allowed—we need a dedicated space for it.
If this thread is basically an open invitation for trolling, then what’s the issue with me joining in? Or does everyone else get a pass while I don't?
So, Henry Lee8 gave you his answer. Since I scrubbed even the slightest bit of an ad hominem from my side—honestly don't see where the issue lies 🤷
of course it can

open it up for all three—the rest is up to us
Way too much trolling and insults in that thread—all because Andrew Hayes started it with that half-baked theory about Messi being a machine just because of growth hormone treatments rather than actual height. People have chewed over that topic a dozen times already, and honestly, I don't think anyone’s ever actually been convinced by it.
I’ll be commenting on the Serie A thread—just like I did before the live stream—and on all the other league threads too.
Hopefully I don't have to go through the hassle of editing this just to slap a [joke] tag on it 😬
