Honestly, I’m fine with this—I can never be bothered to sit through goal highlights anyway, so at least this way I get the full picture right away.
And look, with Sereno, you already know everything you need to know; he’s probably not even injured. He’s always making those dramatic faces—don't listen to Miller. That guy is hands down the most dishonest commentator I've ever heard.
I'm with you on that. It’s easily one of my all-time favorites—really charming stuff—even if I have to admit it starts losing its momentum once it hits the home stretch...
Absolute garbage from start to finish.
It’s honestly mind-blowing that people actually fall for this kind of nonsense in this day and age.
A total Razzie winner... across the board.
Every single fight scene in Oldboy is just masterfully shot. I live for that raw, gritty energy—where you actually feel every hit land on the body and see people getting tossed around without it looking like they're being yanked by a visible wire.
That’s why I find Matrix a little bit brainless and just... off when it comes to the combat. Don't even get me started on House of Flying Daggers, Kill Bill, or any of those other flicks where the entire point of the movie is the fighting. If the action sucks, the whole thing falls apart.
Which is exactly why Jackie Chan and Tony Jaa are way ahead of everyone else for me.
Look, I totally get where Shmuley Boteach is coming from and what his deal is—honestly, I don't even have the energy to argue about it. He hasn't even seen Ocean's Eleven or Ocean's Twelve, so if he says he doesn't like them, it’s just because that whole genre isn't his thing. Period.
End of story.

First off, I’m not some "alternative" type—not emo, not goth, not a Satanist, none of that.
Second... 😕 What even is 😕 friendship?🤔 Speak American!
Come on, you know I’m just messing with you about the whole "alternative" thing. 😁
But honestly, looking at this now, you don't even know why you actually hate the movie. First, you claim it’s because of the cast, but then once Coldplay mentions there aren't even any big stars in it, you suddenly agree. Just face the facts—you haven't even seen Ocean's Eleven or Ocean's Eleven sequel, so you really shouldn't be talking.
The truth is, you just aren't a fan of bright, simple movies with fast-paced plots that don't require a PhD to follow—that's all there is to it. That's why you don't like it. But you have to be objective here. As far as pure, simple entertainment goes? The movie is brilliant.

Honestly, it’s not even about how big of a star someone is—it's about WHO those stars actually are. George Clooney is easily one of the most irritating actors out there, and all these other guys just seem to be filler for that endless puzzle of "B-list" actors trying to make it back to the A-list. I might catch the movie on DVD eventually, but I am definitely not paying to see it in a theater. It’s not even that I have some deep-seated bias or think it'll be a total bore—it’s just that I know *exactly* what I’m getting, and I know exactly how it's going to be served up. I watched the first two installments and, for me, it was a complete waste of money. What’s the plan, right? Let’s just round up 15 superstars and split $20 million between them just so we can check all the boxes. That’s basically the formula for Good Job in Italy, except there's slightly less overacting there.
And honestly, trashing Junfer just to make this movie look better isn't exactly the smartest move.
Man, that's my best friend, and I know for a fact he's only bashing it because I actually like it. Generally speaking, he's a good guy—it's just the actors that drive him crazy.
He's an indie kid who can't stand anything commercial, so...
urbanmaker6, you're talking a lot of crap.
Look, if you aren't into movies with actual stars, feel free to go catch the latest indie flick from Denmark starring Björk. Hey, the woman is a legend—incredible actress—and since there isn't anyone else famous in the cast, I guess that checks all your boxes.
Either do that, or actually sit through one of the Ocean's Eleven movies—from start to finish—before you start a war over what you watched. Don't just rage based on some internet review you read because you’re feeling insecure about the fact that everyone in the movie is better looking than you. 😁
BTW, I watched Ocean's Thirteen yesterday and it was seriously great. It might be a tiny bit (as someone else put it) weaker than the first one, but still brilliant. Maybe a little predictable toward the end—it can't quite touch the original—but there are scenes that will have you laughing all night. Personally, that one with the labor strike... 😁
The first one is a total masterpiece, though the sequel feels a bit weird—kind of rushed, honestly. The plot unravels way too fast toward the end, which left me scratching my head, but man, the third installment better be legendary.
He’s a top-tier player. Once he heads over to Manchester United, that club will finally have a legitimate striker again after Ruud left.
I remember that one. Honestly, I couldn't stop laughing.
But man, actual parkour—real deal stuff—is just wild to watch. It’s a total phenomenon; you need guts, a bit of luck, and some serious skill to pull it off.
Me? I’m definitely lacking that last part. 😁
Red Flag is one of those rare tracks on my playlist that isn't just some random techno or dance track
so I’m actually digging it. As for the rest of their stuff? Honestly, who knows.
