If you're dealing with hemorrhoids, I’d suggest looking into natural remedies first—there seem to be plenty of options out there. Honestly, making sure you wash up thoroughly after every bowel movement is pretty much non-negotiable. If you decide to go the natural route, though, you might want to check in with a doctor; they usually have some decent ointments or even specialized pads under the name "Faktu." If you decide to go the natural route, I'm right here. Feel free to drop by.
I’ve always been more inclined toward natural remedies, if I'm being honest. As for whether these are actually hemorrhoids... I haven't really bothered going to see a doctor about it. I just sort of mentioned what was happening and left it at that, I guess. Besides, they've never actually bled, so maybe it isn't that serious.🤷 As for whether I can engage in anal sex... well, that’s a bit of a loaded question, isn't it? I suppose it depends entirely on what you're dealing with right now. If you're asking because you've been struggling with discomfort, hemorrhoids, or some other rectal issue, then maybe—just maybe—you should hold off for a little while. It might be wise to let things settle down first. I guess it really comes down to how you're feeling and whether any irritation or bleeding is still present. Maybe consult a doctor if you're unsure, just to be safe.
I originally started a thread in the women's health section, but since I didn't get any replies there, I figured I’d try asking here instead. Lately, my husband and I have been having anal sex, and it’s usually his idea. For the last two times, I’ve noticed this little lump appearing right after we're done. At first, I just assumed they were internal hemorrhoids, especially since it receded after about two days. Well, we had sex again today, and while I was washing up afterward, I noticed the lump again—only this time it seems a bit larger. It’s right at the anal opening. Is it possible these are just internal hemorrhoids like I suspect, or could it be something else entirely? I actually noticed a similar small protrusion once after a large bowel movement, where it popped out and then went back in. But today, the lump is definitely bigger; maybe the size of a pea. It's in the exact same spot as before. Could this really just be internal hemorrhoids, or is something else going on with me? Also, is anal sex inherently dangerous? Please help, I'm honestly not sure what to do. Should I even let him do this, given he enjoys it so much? I'd really appreciate some guidance. P.S. Please don't derail this topic into a discussion about anal sex itself; that's not my concern. My actual worry is the physical health issues I'm experiencing afterward. So, if anyone is willing to help, I would truly appreciate it.
I've noticed lately that after I go to the bathroom—mind you, I deal with constipation quite often—whenever I clean up, I feel something hard, maybe a little larger than a typical skin pimple, with a smooth surface. As soon as I finish washing up, it seems to recede. I wonder, could these actually be hemorrhoids?
Zachary Kern6, I appreciate you weighing in, but I’ve got these little lumps just above my knee that stay put even when I’m sitting down. They feel like tiny little balls tucked deep beneath the skin. You can't see them, but if you feel around, they're definitely there. Then there's this other spot right below the knee—it stays hidden while I'm seated, but once I stand up for a while or tense the muscles in my right leg, it pops out like a small plum. On that same right leg, I’ve also noticed some minor broken capillaries. I don't see any obvious bulging veins or anything, but the whole area tends to ache whenever the weather shifts or after I've been walking for a bit too long. I guess I'm just feeling pretty anxious about it all... could someone please tell me what might be going on?
I’ve been dealing with this little lump, maybe about two inches, just below my knee for years now. It isn't really visible unless I’m standing still or if my legs are feeling particularly exhausted at the end of the day. Lately, though, things have shifted. My right leg has started aching—not just the lump itself, but the whole area stretching up from my hip—and I’ve noticed some other smaller bumps appearing above the knee. You can't actually see them, but you can definitely feel them when you touch the skin. I suppose I'm wondering... what could this possibly be?
My right leg has been bothering me for a few days now. I was massaging it earlier today and actually felt something—just above the knee, heading toward the hip, right in the middle of the thigh—this lump deep inside the leg that’s pretty painful when you press on it. I checked my left leg too, and there are two or three similar lumps in the muscle above the knee. To make matters worse, I’ve noticed the exact same thing on one of my arms for a couple of days already... Honestly, I’m absolutely terrified. Does anyone have any idea what this could be?
I’ve actually had this movie for quite a while now. It’s honestly a fantastic film—that one scene with the little girl, though... it really gets to you. It was just incredibly sad.
It’s possible. They haven't really popped up again lately. Honestly, I guess all I care about is that the doctor confirmed it was just Group 2, and that all my issues were stemming from ovarian inflammation. Now that the inflammation has cleared up, the symptoms have finally vanished too.🙂
So, I recently went in for my gynecological exam—Pap smear and a vaginal ultrasound. The Pap came back clear, thankfully, though I’ve been dealing with some pretty intense ovarian inflammation. I've been on two different courses of antibiotics and using vaginal suppositories; I think I'm actually still finishing them up right now. I wasn't entirely sure where to post this, but this corner of the forum seemed like the best fit. Basically, I'm expecting my period in about five or six days, but today I started noticing this brownish discharge. It was a bit clumpy at first, and then tonight it turned into more of a brownish-yellowish consistency. On top of that, I'm feeling this constant ache, almost like I'm due for my period every single day... any idea what might be going on?
I finally got my Pap results back, and thank God, it was just some inflammation. The Pap smear came back at a 2, which means everything looks perfectly normal...🙂
God willing, I’m hoping this is finally the end of it. Honestly, though, I think I might actually lose my mind before we finally get those results back from the paternity test.
The doctor informed me there’s some pretty severe inflammation in my ovaries. Honestly, it actually hurt quite a bit during the exam. The ultrasound came back clear, though, and he told me there’s no real reason to panic—everything looks fine aside from the inflammation itself. I'm still waiting on my Pap smear results, but for now, they've put me on two different antibiotics—Cefdinir and Ciprofloxacin—along with some vaginal suppositories. I have a follow-up appointment in ten days.
I have to admit, I was feeling a little bit spooked... though looking back, maybe the panic was a bit much. I ended up heading over to a private clinic today for a checkup—did a Pap smear, a pelvic exam, and a vaginal ultrasound. Turns out, they found some inflammation in my ovaries, which I suppose explains all the pain and discomfort I've been dealing with. Since I'm ovulating today, the pain feels even more intense, if that's even possible. To top it off, there was a tiny bit of spotting after the exams were finished. I guess I'm wondering, is that actually normal?
Since I've been hunting for a decent gynecologist, it looks like the first available opening isn't until next Thursday. I'll probably be losing my mind by then, though maybe
I didn't end up going. I actually booked a private appointment with a certain doctor, but then I heard some rather questionable things about her reputation, so I decided to pass. I managed to track down a solid OB-GYN instead, and I’m planning to call his office tomorrow to get on his schedule—hopefully, I can head in sometime this week. To make matters worse, I was dealing with some pretty intense pain near my ovaries today; it was radiating right through to my lower back and down my right leg. It feels a little better now, I suppose. My spotting has completely stopped—no blood, no discharge, nothing. It's almost as if there's nothing happening at all, though I am still finding myself running to the restroom quite frequently. Based on my cycle, I should be ovulating in about two or three days. If I see some spotting then, I won't think much of it since that's fairly typical for me, but seeing absolutely nothing mid-cycle really gave me a scare. So, I guess you dealt with these same issues too.
I noticed a bit of spotting again today—nothing major, just a tiny trace, more like spotting than actual bleeding, I suppose. Honestly, it really spooked me. I’m pretty terrified about this. I've been feeling this ache around my ovaries too, and I don't think it's ovulation, given that my last period was on November 20th, which was about ten days ago😢
I know, I’m definitely heading in for a Pap smear and a full gynecological exam after the weekend, but in the meantime, I was wondering if anyone else has dealt with similar symptoms? What’s really bothering me is this persistent aching in my lower back and legs.
My last period started on November 20th, so I guess I just finished it recently. Usually, my ovulation happens around day 14 or 15, and I typically notice a little bit of spotting then—I’ve mostly just gotten used to it by now. Yesterday, there was some blood, though I thought maybe it could have been from cleaning up after the dining hall, but I doubt that's it since that happened two or three days ago. Today, I’m seeing quite a bit of white discharge; it’s sort of yellowish and thin, if I had to describe it.
