A close friend of mine is still wearing a wristband from a music festival she attended years ago 🤔—I honestly haven't quite found the courage to ask her why. Just as a little side note—this wasn't even her first concert, and she’s well into her thirties. 😬
The staffer fastened my wristband so loosely that it practically slides right off my arm—no struggle at all. I walked back over to ask if they could tighten it up a bit. "No way," But what if it just falls off? "Then you won't be able to get in tomorrow," Can I just take it off and keep it in my bag? "No, because security will kick you out if they catch you inside without it on your wrist." So, what am I supposed to do? "You can try, but if you lose it, you'll have to buy a whole new ticket tomorrow." 🙂
It was truly wonderful😍—I am actually changing my mind about festivals; I have to admit, I really missed out on some concerts😍
Sonic Youth managed to cure my fever and runny nose—they were absolutely magnificent. I spent the whole time jumping around to Happy Mondays and didn't see much else. It was just a crowd of dear friends in one big group😘
Highlights from the evening: - An architect I know who showed up around midnight just to see her favorite performer, Banco de Gaia, and she won't stop talking about it to anyone who will listen🤣 🙏 - A lady at the voucher booth who gave us $433 for $767 vouchers🙏 🙏 🙏 😍
They were such a beautiful band with stunning music videos—I just worry you all might have lost your edge lately.

Helen Mirren stars in it, and she’s actually up for a few Oscars for this one. 👍 It covers the events back in 1997 after Princess Diana died in that accident—specifically how the Queen handled the whole thing and just how bafflingly poorly they reacted. They had no clue how to act.
One thing though: I noticed at the AMC theater that some of the scenes between characters seem to get a bit blurry for a second. 😕 Is that on them? A bad edit?
