Post-summer breakouts: What works? in Health ·
I’ve been reading through everything here and I honestly can’t help but wonder...
I can't help but feel like those of you struggling with mood swings might actually be dealing with some thyroid issues.

My husband suggested that was the case, but even after we went in for a full battery of blood tests to check my hormone levels, everything came back perfectly normal—we just couldn't catch anything.

I know my own body pretty well, though, and I can usually tell when things are about to spiral; I get this specific ache in my throat or neck area, and I know a total emotional meltdown is right around the corner. My mood just shifts in an instant.

Right now, I’m focusing on my diet. I’m working on losing some weight and hoping to get my system back in balance. After that, the plan is to tackle PCOS, fibroids, and fertility issues. I'm really hoping that once I sort those out, my nerves will settle down too.
Ultimately, my biggest dream is to have a healthy pregnancy and a beautiful, healthy baby.

I’ll be keeping a close eye on your posts. It seems like there is so much more going on here than just dealing with acne.

Wishing everyone the very best of luck with their health journeys and feeling confident in their own skin again.
😘 Sending everyone here my love and wishing you all nothing but success on your weight loss journeys. 😉
I actually started my current regimen back on August 2nd, and honestly, things are going pretty well so far. 👍 (at least from my perspective)
Like I’ve mentioned elsewhere before, I don't think the specific diet matters as much as whether we can actually "rise to the occasion" and stick to it.
I’ve cycled through all sorts of diets over the years, but the results were always hit or miss. I’d lose a few pounds, then gain them right back; in fact, back when I was about 11, I ended up gaining 21 pounds just by constantly starving myself and cutting out everything I actually enjoy eating. I feel pretty good about this approach, though, and I really believe I can see this through. At least, that’s what I’m hoping.
It might actually be a great idea for you guys to start a support group or a little community here—something where you can build a circle of people who truly get it and can help pull you through those rough patches. I think having like-minded people available to talk to every single day is vital, especially since you might not find much understanding at home regarding your dietary changes or nutritional needs.
Once again, I’m rooting for all of you to reach your target weight and achieve that look you’re going for—along with all the perks that come with it, like feeling more confident and satisfied with yourself.
Best,

...the results show I'm positive for Mycoplasma hominis and Ureaplasma urealyticum
Help![/QUOTE

I went through the exact same thing, but everything is fine now.

My partner and I were also trying to conceive, and I ended up getting tested for no particular reason, only to find out I had Ureaplasma.
Thankfully, we were prescribed some pretty decent antibiotics—we took them for either ten days or maybe two weeks, I can't quite remember—and I also used some vaginal suppositories to help deal with the side effects from the meds.
The good news is that you can completely clear those bacteria out, so please try not to worry too much.

Did you happen to get tested for Chlamydia as well? My OB-GYN mentioned that could be a factor in fertility issues.[/QUOTE]

Good afternoon,
I haven't had a chance to read through everything quite yet, so I'm not sure if anyone else has brought up St. John's Wort oil.

The thing is, I was actually looking for St. John's Wort oil to help with some other issues I've been dealing with, but what I ended up getting was Hypericum oil (Hyperici oleum).
Is that essentially the same thing?
Could someone please clarify the Latin names for me?
