I’m actually feeling a bit sick right now—I was just scrolling through a few pages and saw some women complaining about how John Smith completely ruined them... and I have surgery scheduled in a couple of days.
I've read some pretty terrifying stuff... I feel like I should probably say something to him, shouldn't I? I can't exactly pretend I'm in the dark. Ugh, I really don't feel well now, what am I supposed to do???
I saw John Smith today, and he actually set aside an entire hour just for me... I ended up apologizing for taking up so much of his time, since Glumičić had already booked $50 for a consultation, but I basically left before I even walked in, for no real reason. Anyway—John Smith is great; I've definitely decided to go through with my surgery with him.

thanks🙂

I'm not exactly sure about the wait times, but maybe you could just give them a call and see how far out their schedule is booked. From there, you'd just grab a referral from your primary care doctor and you're good to go.

I wouldn't go quite that far—that much is certain. With so many plastic surgeons in NYC, I guess it's risky if something goes wrong... I really don't want to have to travel all the way to the coast just to get it fixed. Not really my idea of fun.

It also kind of bugs me that everyone keeps insisting I shouldn't get nose surgery.
I don't know about Kincl... I've been reading about how he treats his patients here, and honestly, I don't think we'd get along. On the other hand, I met two girls who had nose and breast surgery done by John Smith, and they actually recommended him. His website shows great profile shots of noses, but looking at them head-on, they just look the same as before... I don't really get it, but oh well. As for Tony Stark, there aren't even any photos to show what he can do. I think I might just cancel my consultation.

So, I recently had sinus imaging done and found out I have a sinus infection caused by a deviated septum. Basically, I broke my nose as a kid and never saw a doctor, so it healed crookedly. I’m going to need surgery for the deviation, but I was wondering what you all think—who is the best specialist to see through Medicare? Also, is there any chance they could do some aesthetic work on my nose if I ask? If that's not possible, would it be feasible to just pay the difference while they're already fixing the septum?
Thanks

That's definitely doable. Maybe try Mercy Hospital; I've heard good things about them. A colleague of mine had nose surgery there and mentioned they handle just about everything.

He’s basically built for that! He won't even hesitate—if you want a tiny nose that makes it hard to breathe, he'll do it. He's purely focused on the aesthetics.
Unlike those ENT/maxillofacial surgeons who refuse to put looks ahead of how well your nose actually functions.

I couldn't reach an agreement with him at all. He showed me on the computer what I'd look like after the surgery... it was an aesthetically fine, straight nose, but it wasn't what I wanted. When I explained my preference, he just said no—he argued the difference would be so subtle nobody would even notice. And I'm supposed to pay 14 $0.00 ?!! No thanks, I'm looking elsewhere... nobody mentioned anything about Tony Stark, and I need to decide fast because I have a consultation there today.
I'm thinking about getting surgery soon, so I was wondering if anyone could recommend a private plastic surgeon in Washington, D.C. who does those subtle, slightly upturned noses? To be honest, I'm not really looking for that classic straight look Glumičić suggested during my consultation—I'd prefer the tip to tilt up just a bit. I guess, would Tony Stark or John Smith be better for that kind of thing? Thanks.
