Vague symptoms—help!
in Health ·
Hi!
After reading through these posts, I felt compelled to share that I went through something remarkably similar just last month. I’m also dealing with hypothyroidism—which comes with quite a handful of side effects—and I've been prescribed Synthroid. My main struggle lately, though, has been this persistent breathing issue; it feels like I simply can't catch a full breath—it’s suffocating, really—and I find myself straining just to get enough air, which is honestly terrifying. On top of that, I've been dealing with constant restlessness, heart palpitations whenever I exert myself, dry mouth, an accelerated digestive system, and excessive thirst. I finally managed to schedule some blood work to check my hormone levels, and I'll be heading in for that in two weeks... But here is what’s bothering me most: my doctor insists these aren't symptoms of my hypo at all, but rather just manifestations of stress. What are your thoughts on that? 😕😕
