Looking at this, I honestly think it’s the worst festival in the universe. 🤷

Is there any realistic chance, assuming I'm incredibly lucky or perhaps just really good at bribing people, that I could actually snag an autograph from someone in Grinderman? Or should those of us heading there just give up hope and leave the CD covers at home?
My friends caught Ellis in Vienna, so now I’m curious to see how that would play out at Lake Michigan.
🙂
Maybe if you snag a spot in the front row, you'll have a chance. You know that moment at the end of the show when they come right up to the edge of the stage to wave? If you're there, you could probably wave your drumsticks at them and maybe convince someone to sign them. 🙏: 🤣 Wait, that’s actually possible. 🤷 How far is it from the front row to the actual stage?

Some friends managed to track down Ellis in Vienna, so I’m wondering what the vibe is like at the Santa Monica Pier.
🙂
Same question here, though I'm aiming for Mastodon 😁
I need some clarification from those of you who have been to this before. When I show up on Day 1 with my ticket at the gate, do they just scan it and hand me a wristband? And am I supposed to leave it on until the next day? 😁 How does the process actually work? Will they be scanning my ticket again tomorrow?
I sent them an email asking about the set times, and here is their full response.
''Dear 6655321, The lineup and schedule aren't just things we pick on a whim; they are the result of logistical constraints, production capacities, artist requests, tour schedules, and various other factors. We understand that the audience doesn't have visibility into this since you aren't running a music festival, and we simply can't explain every single detail regarding the logistics, obligations, and requirements involved in finalizing the schedule. Best regards, Coachella''
I'm just sitting here wishing Yeasayer would play 🙂. They aren't pricey, and they're honestly a blast. I have a feeling we won't see any more "massive headliners" like this. Or am I totally off base?

I was just listening to Skyline to remind myself how great that album is.🙏
*sarcasm off* 😉 Why the immediate hostility?😛
But seriously, Mastodon is an incredibly clever band. Even if they sound a bit "too intense" at first with those screaming vocals, they really aren't. Put on Skyline [2009] and give it a shot; this isn't catchy pop music that hits instantly. It's complex and layered, so you have to put in a little effort at the start. Here’s the best track to start with to get a feel for them. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s6WGNd8QR-U
